Hey there, i'm Johnny Mac, here's a little something I posted last night in the wrong forum, it's about one of the sonic comic issues, nothing bad, just wanted to post something, here goes:
"hello. I'm Johnny Mac. I just wanted to post a random fact that goes back more than a 100 issues of sonic the hedgehog. Some of you who read this in the comic may already know, but I was recently reading my back issues of sonic & in issue #51, sonic is temporarily trapped in the VR (virtual reality) nightmare, but escapes. It was revealed that the original Dr. Robotnik had nothing to do with it, which almost made the mystery on who did it almost unsolved. However, if you read issue #82, you find that Robo-Robotnik (The current Robotnik) actually did it. Maybe some of you figured it out, however for me, I never knew until issue #82 in the letters page that it was him. I know, it's crazy for me to bring it up, i just thought it was intriging (i don't know if i spelled that right) that he did it. There were probably signs that he had, but I never caught on. I know, it was only one issue that i'm bringing up, it's not important, but I was curious if anyone else had that ponder at the time of it. Don't get me wrong, I am a huge sonic fan and I do love their comic series. I just wanted to add that in and see what you all thought of that. Ok, well, later!"
Well, they had to say he did it, though they could've said Snively did it. 😉
Actually I wond'red bout it for a while back in the day. The Robo-Robotnik answer disappointed a few fans and someone (can't remember who) asked Penders about it. Seems #51 was written with the original EndGame storyline in mind (where Sally was gonna really be dead, and a EBIL robot take her place for awhile until Sonic learned the truth). Once it was decided that sally would survive, #51's mystery villain had to be recast. Robo-Robotnik was chosen, but the fangirl in me agrees that Sniv woulda been so much cooler.
Welcome to the forum. Listen to the mods and ignore the crazies. Good luck figurin' out the diffrence.
But didn't they show it was him in one of the issuies leading up to issiue #75. Just curious about that.
He was only shown to be responsible for the jail break, avalanches, robian attacks, meteor shower, the squid-like "monster," the backwards-Knothole, a pirate TV broadcast, and taking the residents of Knothole. 8 things for each letter in Robotnik.
