is it just me, but lately most of our disscussions/debates/arguements have been influenced alot of what ian has been saying.
some of this is good, but some is bad. alot of people have been abusing this by saying "well ian said this or ian said that" most people are basically misquoting him.
so i've decided that i was going to make this topic, you'll see that the purpose is pretty clear.
This side of Mobius, ask ian thread
when it comes up into a conversation where someone uses "but ian said" then you can point them towards this topic which has both of his "ask" threads. or if somebody is just curious about a question that might've been answered.
btw, i'm not sure if linking to bumbleking is good or bad so if anyone wants it down then just ask. (i'm a bit of a comp-u-tard)
I agree that a lot of people are fabricating words from Ian's mouth; things he never really said. However, is it really necessary to make this thread? I believe everybody knows how to find Ian's forum already.
Personally, I like this thread. And not just because it's something of a promotional for me 
One of the downsides to being as interactive as I try to be is that there's a lot of information put out there by an official source. I knew some of it would be misquoted or misrepresented, but there does seem to be a rash of it lately.
For the sake of clarity of information, I'd be happy if this thread remained as something of a sign post.

Well being one that has misquoted some of What Ian is saying, it's good to have this here, because most of the time some don't really know what he is saying about the going ons in the comic book, although if Ian would kind enough to at least let us know who and what to expect without spoilers or hints, then maybe, just maybe some of the misquoteing will stop. Just my theory though.
But knowing exactly what happens BEFORE you read the comic for yourself, is a SPOILER. ><
We should be thankful we get hints at all. Sometimes a job forbids the disclosure of any spoilers. Its like how the people running bookstores can't give their family etc. early copies of Harry Potter-- if word got out, they'd be fired and likely sued. Archie Sonic doesn't take security to that extreme, but if Ian or anyone else want some things to be secret that's totaly within their right and I respect that.
Rumors are a part of any fandom. It's impossible to squash them all. But we can limit the ones that are still out their by not feeding into it. Don't claim something as fact, if you can't back it up. Specially if you're gonna pass it off as statements from Ian/Joe/any "inside source".

Puar pretty much covered it. It's just something people need to be aware of if you intentionaly write: "Oh, well Ian said blah, blah, blah...."
This might help, but it's the poster's own choice to write anything they want. this may not stop this trend. But it will bring aware that people HAVE been doing this, and doing it in the wrong way.

I just thought it was annoying that it had to be bumped, and it has useful information people should see.
