I put this in:

==Reception==
After the Cancellation of Sonic The Hedgehog (Sonic SATAM.) Sega purposely tried to make all Sonic fans forget the that Satam existed so the can focus more on the games and recently Sonic X. They assumed that the Satam series was never popular. Many people feel that Sega does not listen to their fans. Such as characters that have more potential than Sonic himself and can create a better series: Knuckles, Shadow, Tails, Silver and etc. But thanks to the FUS (Fans United for Satam) a DVD of Sonic The Hedgehog the complete series was released. Sonic SATAm has remind a popularity among young adults that grew up with the Series. Many fans wish thats this show will never die as most older fans seem to like this more than Sonic X anime. Sonic Satam was best known for its adult humor, more adult situations and dark tones.

In an interview with Ben Hurst, he stated he would gladly bring back the Series if Sega or DIC permits him to do so. Leaving may faithful groups to help him realize his dream. Only time will tell if Sega really wants to bring back Sonic Satam so Sonic can regain his glory.

gotta agree with toby.....

but either way, a little bit of constructive criticism, your view seems completely biased. wiki doesn't like that. just an fyi.

In a bad paragraph full of wrong information ("Sega purposefully made people try to forget" gave me a good giggle), this was the worst. SatAM was a lot less light-hearted than the other Sonic cartoons, but this does not make it dark or adult. I enjoy SatAM too but it annoys the hell out of me when people try to claim it's some fantastic model of dystopia and anyone who disagrees just isn't mature enough to understand it. It's a cartoon about a blue hedgehog that has been dead in every sense of the word for nearly eight times the length it was alive.

you see matt, some fans just can't accept that. apparently satam was just the best thing ever and it will never die. ever. i myself completely agree with you. it's to the point that there's conceivably nothing to talk about regarding satam because all of these hardcore fans have allready talked about it. so we can only hope that in the next few months, those fans realize this and satam dies in this sense too.

But don't any of you heathens remember? SatAM was all, like totally, awesome and some such! It was TOTALLY RADICAL, man. I mean, who cares if Sonic is voiced by Steve Urkel, he was so totally awesome when he "juiced and jammed!!!1!!!!11"

.....

.....

.....

I think I hurt myself writing that. And I've really got to stop posting so much, or I'll miss my 2K.

I will personally say that no matter how cheezy it seems now, SatAM is better than Sonic X. And while I would like it if Sega would bring back some SatAM elements for video games, I also accept that they've moved away from that. SatAM was the show of old Sega Genesis age, prior to the introduction of characters like Knuckles or Amy or Metal Sonic. It had some lovable characters, but they were created for the show (except Sonic, Tails, and Robotnik) and so Sega didn't want to bring them into the games. Personally, I would have liked to see SatAM go on, but it's nigh on a decade too late. Still, I think SatAM will always remain-at least to some fans-a beloved part of the Sonic continuity.

I humble agree!

Also, we don't need a post for every time someone updates something in Wiki. Just, my opinion...

PS: I do own a SatAM Boxset. I just think people grow up and there's other shows out there as well.

I understand that Sonic Sat a.m. wasn't perfect and not to everyone's taste, but I do think it was the best of the Sonic cartoons. It will always have a special place in my heart because it is the show that really got me into Sonic fandom.

I think there is still some bitterness and sadness that Sega wasn't more accepting of Sonic Sat a.m., and some things that Archie(yes I know Archie is not Sonic Sat a.m.) did since the show went off the air made the ill feelings worse. It wasn't the fact that Archie was being different from Sonic Sat a.m. per say, that I believe made some fans upset, it was the way they went about it.

I can accept the fact that Sonic Sat a.m. is probably not coming back for a third season or a movie. Right now, I am focused on doing what I can to keep Sat a.m. alive, as much as possible, though the comic and speaking out about what I want to see, and making sure justice is done for the characters I care about.

No, no... that was me. Hence the 'Psx edit' preface. I was briefly commenting on his lack of discipline, due to the fact he posted something rather naughty as his "present" for those who he felt were belittling him. Never mind that just prior to that he PMed a little bit of bad attitude towards one of our mods for doing their job.

Kid was a time bomb waiting to go off. I'm not sorry he's gone, though I wish some of our members would refrain from antagonizing the newbies. Or at the very least, keep it tame and let the mods and admins handle things if they go mental.
