I know there's no Sally-bashing around here on Sonic HQ. But there used to be. (Does Troophead ring a bell?) he Sally-bashing I'm talking about is the stuff you see on SegaSonic-oriented Sonic pages, and Fanfiction.net
The reason I am so fed up with it is because it's been going on since 1998 with 'Calico's Letterbox'. And then people on alt.fan.sonic-hedgehog began to bash Sally, and so on, and so forth.
And now this 'Meada' or whatever his name is comes on and asks if the SAT am characters will all be killed off so the SegaSonic verse can take over. Now do you understand? And BTW, I still have good opinions, I haven't lost my mind, okay? It's just that when you have had enough of something that goes on for too long, you tend to get sick of it to a point where you want to bash it. Get it?
Err, just beause some people don't agree with you, that doesn't mean that there's some conspiracy across the entire net. If it'll prove anything, Archie ran a poll a while ago. 25% of the voters said they wanted Sonic and Sally to get married, while 25% said they wanted Sally out of the comic, and 50% said they wanted the status quo. So 75% wanted Sally to stay in the comic.
Also, it goes both ways. You've had a tendency to bash certain characters quite vehemently sometimes.
I only vaguely remember this "Calico's Letterbox," but it's probably better to just forget about it.
Your blanket assumption about alt.fan.sonic-hedgehog is wrong as well... there hasn't been any Sally-bashing, SatAM-bashing or ANY real type of bashing in AFSH since late '99. (I should know, I've been there since '98.) And even then it wasn't any of the regular contributors, but a bunch of whiny 14-year olds who were trying to start a major flamewar.
We eventually expelled said 14-year olds, and they went off to other places. I'll wager that 80% of the people who say they hate Sally couldn't give you two valid reasons why they hate her... hey, I'll even bet that they only hate Sally because it was the thing all the "kewl pplz" were doing and they didn't want to be left out. (Nowadays it's hating Mina that's the kewl thing, apparently.)
It's against the rules here and isn't justified period. With the hundreds of posters around here, people don't agree with each other and many have completely contrasting views.
Just because it disagrees with your own doesn't make it bashing. Also, if someone else is bashing, we'll handle it. Bashing in retaliation is immature and just makes you look just as bad as the so-called "bashers."
It's the year 2002, whatever happened in 1998 has no bearing on now.
I don't really care, but if you're going to keep coming here to do nothing but bash for whatever reason then I'm sorry but you're asking for a ban.

isn't bashing just an unjust opininion towards someone becuase you don't like it, if so (sorry I'm a litttle new here) then that's dumb, bashing has no point if you just say "sally sucks" and don't throw in a reason why....I sorry I just felt like replying to this, anywho take care!!
