Okay.
I've been having trouble trying to track
down a clean version of this piece of music for years. It's not been
easy. So I am appealing to the Sonic Fan Community to see if I can get
help obtaining a pristine digital quality version of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MlKgg3rKiqY <--- this track.
As
you will notice, there are no guitars to this version of the SatAM
Closing Credits. None. It's just a track that's been beat up over time.
Someone
at the Fans United for SatAM Forums said that a 'Lamal' guy from many
years ago found this track. I'm kinda hoping that he or maybe she is
out there and could give me some help. Or, maybe, someone else has a
clean version of this track.
In any event, help would be much
appreciated, and thanks would be given to anyone that could help me
with the quandry I've had over this track for a few years.
Thanks for watching and listening though...you're awesome! =)
And thanks to HanakoFairhall for the video construct too. She's awesome too, so go give her some props, yo! ^^
hmm o.o I dunno if this helps, but I can tell you where that track is from (or at least where I've heard it from, anyway). It's from the SatAM complete series DVD set -- once you start up the DVD (any of the 4 DVDs works) and wait for the main menu to load, if you wait past all the lyrics (which start at "Look out when he storms through"), then this version of the song will play once before switching over to the repeating version of it.
(The repeating version lacks the tail end that you have there, and is what also plays in the episode selection/bonus features menus. I know that the repeating version can be found online in a couple places at least (since having that one turn up in searches is what led me to check the DVD set in the first place), though I'm currently assuming that you're specifically looking for it with the tail end of the music there.)
I haven't seen the track itself online, but assuming you can rip the menu from the DVD into a .vob, you should be able to extract the audio. I'm not sure how good the copy protection on the DVDs are, however, as I've never attempted it. It's just a suggestion.
There's a problem with that though...
...how do I get rid of the 'deet-deet-deet' beeping sound effect in that menu?
I'd likely need an audio program that gets rid of background sound effects, but I don't know where to find one freeware.
=S
Audacity is your friend. Google for it, it ought to be the first hit.
I have Audacity.
Though it might help to know which setting to use to eliminate the beeping sound. =S
