While I posted this in the comic-con thread, I figured not everyone read that. Sonic X #13 has american manga artist David Hutchison. Since he was at the San Diego Comic Con, I asked him to do a sketch of Sonic for me as a preview of what's to come. He did an incredible sketch! Check it out:
Hutchinson's not exactly new... remember he did issue 7? His work was pretty awesome.
Wow that is nicely drawn. I think that's one of my favorite things about reading comics- finding new talented artists/writers and watching where their careers go.

Cool! I met David last month at a con in Dallas. He was there with Antarctic Press, but AP was on a diff floor from where I was in Artist Alley so there wasnt much chance to say howdy to the guys.
Finally met him last-minute though got to chat with him at least a bit, just didnt get a chance to hang or port. review. Nice fella. AP had told me months before his first SX ish was even solicited that he had gotten on the book, and they were all really psyched about it. Glad to hear hes got some new stuff comin up.
