Do you think that E-123 Omega from "Sonic Heroes" should be in the Archie Comics? Sure I understand that the games and the comics should stay seperate, but everyone saw the new Metal Sonics in teh past few issues. I just think Omega can add a whole new element to the comic, he could be like a revived Gamma. What do you think?

And what did Gamma offer to the comic...we saw him for all of two issues... No, I think enough new characters have been added to this comic...The writers need to learn how to use the ones they already have... (Go Ian! *grabs his pompoms*)

Let me be the first to welcome you to the MoFo! Post a "hi, I'm new here" topic in "Barney's Dance Party"...It's actually the MoFO Central, and it will help you meet all the cool and crazy people here at the MoFo! Hopefully you'll join us when we move to the EliteBoard in a month!

oh, btw...make sure you're familiar with the rules!

Depends wherever SEGA wants Archie to do a adaption of a game that has Omega in it. Since the two games were "Sonic Heroes" and "Shadow the Hedgehog", I would not count on it for a long time

Well, Gamma isn't dead in the comic and we also have Isaac.

The idea of 3 Gamma clones walking around is a bad idea, especially as game adaptions probably wont be happening any time soon.

It'd be nice to have him cameo as cannon fodder.

That's really open to interpretation. Gamma's death was never explicitly shown, but much of the SA story wasn't shown and, as implied by the editorial in SSS#13, we are to assume that it (or something like it) happened off panel.

For the Adventure series, the best rule is to assume that events that happened in the game also happened in the comic universe, unless there's a reason it can't have. For instance, all that was shown of SA2 was a small bit of the backstory and an adaptation of City Escape, but we are to asume that the whole thing happened, especailly as Shadow's and Rouge's roles are directly referred to in later stories.

As far as I'm concerned, Gamma is dead, although the heroes don't know about it and it will probably never become important.

I don't know if Omega will ever turn up. Probably not.

Okay. I just wanted to know how everyone would react if he was in the comic. Figured he could be like another Heavy and Bomb, so to speak.

I don't know. Does Archie REALLY need another character to keep track of? They seem to have enough as it is. I don't really know what Omega would add to the story either. I'm not saying it's a bad idea. I just don't see it as neccessary.

More importantly, why do people want Omega around so much? He seemed incredibly uninteresting to me. No real personality other than "DESTROY DESTROY DESTROY" aaaand... bleh, boooring.

Exactly. This comic has enough one-dimensional characters as it is.
