I'm somewhat saddened that the Babylon Rogues look like they'll only be appearing in one of those story/ads in the back of the book which I doubt will ever have an effect on the main story (could be wrong).

In the order you want to see them, what villains do people want to see from the games/cartoons etc. in the book?

My personal favorites, in order of how much I want to see them:

1. Chaos: TOTALLY wasted in that awful adaptation of the game (which wasn't Archie's fault, darn you SEGA). Obviously you can't redo the game again, but he could be brought back with something that actually tells a story with the same moral and ideas. And it's always nice to have a threat that can endanger _everyone_.

2. Void: A trickster villain trying to cover up how depressed and lonely he(?) is. Cool.

3. Biolizard: The Big Ugly Shadow prototype. Since we're meant to tiptoe around how the Sonic Adventure story happened in this world, it might be tricky. Still, I think it would be worth it to bring him back, or his clone, or his ghost, or something that steals its powers, or... ANYTHING.

4. Eggman Nega: We might get him anyway, since we've already seen Blaze. But I really want it to be in one of the main stories, because he's kind of cool. Especially that color coordination. What a snappy dresser!

5. Black Arms & Black Doom: Well they looked cool at least...

6. King Boom Boo: Oh why not.

7. Tails Doll: BEcause it's creepy looking.

8. Metarex & Dark Oak: More likely to show up in the Sonic X comic, but who knows how well that book will do in the long term? They could be fun in the normal book too.

P.S. Is there any way to make polls on ezboard?

The only way you can make an actual poll is in the Spam Protection Agency.

I think Ian is setting us up for a Battlecock Armada invasion, hereto referred to as The Armada because Archie is squeamish like that. Though I don't know if I approve of characters like Jet the Hawk and Bean the Dynamite having been involved with them... I mean sure, they're all birds and they probably would flock together (innuendo? not I!) but it's starting to come off like another version of the Dingo society. Except mobile, I suppose (flight makes right!).

I wouldn't mind seeing Blackdoom appear in the comic. HOWEVER, I think he'd need a little more depth before he could be an interesting character. He was so one-dimensional in the way that he really had no redeeming qualities and just wanted to destroy. If you gave him some positive qualities he'd be an interesting character...Make him a soft-spoken Intellectual...Calm, but plotting.

Okay, so there's some 'if's that go with that suggestion. Truthfully though, Robotnik has always been the best villain for Sonic and no one has ever really come close to him, in any series, in my humble opinion. Even when Robotnik isn't the arch-villain of a story and is just an antagonistic force, he's just the perfect match for Sonic.

I never played Shadow The Hedgehog, but could Black Doom be tied into Archie's Xorda in some way? Xorda does supposedly have destroying all of Mobius as its overall agenda, even if they have stunk at it so far. ;p

Black Doom would probably be top of the list. Biolizard has bit the dust, King Boom Boo is appearing in the next Sonic X issue, Tails Doll dosen't really have the potienal to be a good villian, Void is done for, and Chaos...well i guess he could come back, but Ian has to do some MAJOR continuity stiching if he does that.

Can Metal Madness count (The Dragon form of Mecha)?

Unless Ian goes slightly against the game, it is highly unlikely that Black Doom and the Black Arms are tied with the Xorda, at least not it an alliance sorta way.

You see, TR, while the Xorda wants to destroy any trace of human DNA and/or all of Mobius, the Black Arms wants to use humans as an energy source, and possibly have breeding sections to make sure there would always be a human enery source forever as Black Doom said they would be well looked after. Of course, like I said, Ian make break off from the game in that direction.

Hmm.. So they'd be at cross-purposes concerning the lifeforms of Mobius..

...Perhaps there could be a Black Arms/Xorda conflict with the Freedom Fighters stuck in the middle, wondering who to join forces with?

Only the Battle Bird Armada, which Ian is obviously putting in. I wonder how he will explain their absense in the story so far, though? Perhaps they formed during tossed in space, but the references by the Babylon Rogues and Bean seem to suggest they've been around a while.

They would make a good opponent because:

a. They're a games reference.

b. There's a lot of them, so their numbers (both named birds and random thugs) could be adjusted to whatever suits the story and the heroes that will oppose them.

c. They seem to use technology along the lines of vehicles/mechs if I remember right, but they aren't cyborgs or robots, making them different from other Archie villains.

d. They have an open enough backstory (i.e. they're birds and that's about it) that Ian could create them as he sees fit and possibly make a very good version of them for whatever role they serve.

Personally I hope they're a major group deserving of the word armada, perhaps air pirates who reside in flying battleships, because flying battleships are cool, it would make some sense with the Babylon rogues using hover tech, and it makes them mobile and spread out enough to be both versatile and elusive to capture by Eggman.
