The Loves of Sonic and Sally

Since the days of Satam and the early issiues of the Sonic Comic, one thing has always been constent, Sonic and Sally's love for each other.

But just like any couple in Television and mostly Comic Books, they have had different loves in their lives as well.

St. John:

In 1995, Archie Comics presented Princess Sally in her own 3-part Comic Book mini-series, which introduced a new character in Geffory St. John, who turns out to be the leader of an underground rebellion, and helps Sally defeat Robotnik and destory his animtroic factory.

But at the same time wins her heart and shares a tender kiss at the end, where Sally quotes in the final panel of the mini-series "...where one heart is, there is now two."

Foturely, Sally realizes and informs St. John in the 48-page special, "Brave New World", that her heart still and always had/will belong to Sonic.

However, St. John would not be out of love for long and thus a few years back, finally fell in love and married Hershey the Cat, who had feelings for him from the first time she saw him.

Amy Rose:

Just as she was in the games in which she was introduced, Amy's love for Sonic was more of a School-girl crush, that within time grew into something more.

Now some may argue the fact, that in the comic book adapation of "Sonic Adventure", Amy changed her appecance not so that she could on the mission with Sonic and Freedom Fighters to Station Square, but to try and finally get Sonic to herself, this however did not work nor is the case, for Amy's intentions may have been in that area, she has comes to terms that if she is going to be older, then she needs to act older and accpet that Sonic will be nothing more then a friend to her.

Sure, in "Sonic X" she retains her crush/love for Sonic, even to the point that in the first epsiode of the 3rd season, she refers to Sonic as her boyfriend, although Sonic may differ with that statement.

Mina Mongoose:

Mina was introduced in the 76th issiue of the Sonic Comic book, and since then has become one of the most popular, beloved, converstional and to some fans, most disliked character in the past few years.

The reason for this was, that Mina had started to delvop strong feelings for Sonic right after the "Sonic Adventure" story had taken place.

In the comic, Mina had discovered that she has super-speed simaliar to Sonic's, and thought that since they had that in common, that they were destined for each other, but Mina was in for quite suprise.

Mina at first try to kiss Sonic on the lips as a bit of thank you for showing/teaching her to control her speed, and thus show him how she felt about him, only to have Sonic look at her with an exspession of surprise and question of "What are you doing".

Mina would later find out when Sonic went to rescue Sally from Nack the Weasel and his gang, that as she tagged along to help, would see Sonic and Sally embrace and share tender kiss.
Even though Mina was upset with herself for not realizing Sonic and Sally still had feelings for each other, she made a vow to do anything for Sonic, and proved that when she nearly gave her life to save Sally for Sonic.

Nowadays, Mina has found a new love in her stage manger, Ash Mongoose, who like Mina before him, nearly gave his life to save her.

Evil Antione aka Patch:

This is a case of an arranged/forseen/fortold marragie gone wrong because of deception.

In the comic, it was/has been nearly 2 years since Antione "Prime" was replaced by "Evil" Antione aka Patch, who in Antione's place, had done what fans didn't want to see, and that's break up with Bunnie Rabbot and thus break her heart, this was due to the fact that Patch didn't love Bunnie like his counterpart Antione did/still does.

It was though his deception that he was able to posion the King's food and drink so that the King would have to step down and thus allow the arranged/forseen marragie between Sally and Antione to take place.

Even though the marragie had happen, Patch's deception would soon be releved, as Sally's brother at the urging of his wife return to reclaim his birthright to the throne, and thus pervent Patch from becoming King.

Patch however would not be denyed his goal, and thus as he was about to fataly-posion Sally's brother with a handshake, Sonic saw the posionius needle and thus during the fight with Patch, releved to everyone that he was phony trying to decive his way to the throne.

In the end, Patch was defeated and sent back to his world by Sonic who brought back the real Antione and reunited him with Bunnie, and Sally's marragie was annuled by her brother.

Fiona Fox:

Fiona was first introduced in the Tails solo story: "Growing Pains" as an animatronic made to decive Tails.

Tails however was able to overcome the Robotnik deception and defeat the animatronic, even though he still had feelings for her.

The "real" Fiona would make a full-time return to the comic in the "Home" 4-part mini-series.

As mentioned above, Tails still had feelings for Fiona, even though the "real" Fiona was about 4 and half years older then him.

Tails wouldn't let that stop him, and in the some issiues would be seen giving or getting Fiona a drink to enjoy, which she would happly accept.

Fiona would soon learn later on in the 155th issiue of the Sonic Comic Book, about Tails true feelings about her, when Tails saw what he swore was/could have been a kiss between her and best friend Sonic, who had/has been like a big brother to Tails.

Fiona saw that Tails was upset about what he just saw and wanted to what was wrong, and in which Tails finally told her how he felt about her.

Fiona reponse to Tails true feelings about her, was one of understanding, but she also let Tails know that she was to old for him, and that would pefer boys like Sonic who about her age.

Tails upon hearing this, in emotional outbust, shouted in Sonic's "I HATE YOU!", which makes one wonder if this was just an emotional outbust of dissappioment on Tails part or if there will be more to it later on.

Fiona is currently (one can only wonder) the "girlfriend" and some fans use that term loosely of Sonic, or least in her mind.

But now the question that fans are currently asking is "When/where/how/and if Sonic and Sally will be together once more?"

Only Time will tell that Story.
