do the current comics still have roboticized citizens? do they still even mention the roboticizer? i was just wondering if with time passing by, are they still acknowledging the satam roots?

also- whens the last time they had a flashback of Robotnik before he died? you know, the true Julian??

thanks

In issue 123, every Robian (Roboticized Mobian) was abducted by Ceneca-9009, an alien "Bem." Ceneca-9009 was actually ordered to transform all Mobians into robots using the "Robotizer," a device similar to the Roboticizer. But Ceneca-9009 disobeyed and "derobotized" all Robians instead, resulting in her being sentenced to death (she later escaped with help from Sonic).

So all Robians are now normal Mobians again, with one exeption: Jules, Sonic's father. Recall that Jules was injured in the Great War, and he was roboticized to save his life. Derobotizing him would have killed him, so he remained robotic. However, in a recent issue, when Robotnik needed Sonic's help he hinted that he might have a way to safely deroboticize Jules.

About a year and a half ago, we saw Robot versions of the fearsome foursome, Drago, and Sleuth Doggy Dogg, that are apparently roboticized, but Rootnik did not do it and doesn't know how it was done. No new info has been revealed about this.

There's presumably more, too. One useful thing that the Dulcy backup story in the past few issues did was show that the Bem didn't manage to deroboticize every single Robian.

The last time we saw Julian was #143.

Weren't they supposed to be just a "special" case because they're dragons?

It was the "magic of dragons," they told us. more like, the magic of that story obviously having been intended for the pre-"Tossed in Space" continuity. Just look at Sally's hair, Antoine's gleeful expression, and the last-minute addition of Bunnie's costume.
