I heard a rumor way back when about there being a movie/show that would be based on the Archie comics, bringing in all those characters and such.
I'm not asking if the rumor is true or not. What I want to know is has anyone else heard this? I only heard it one time and never found anything else on it. It's driving me crazy. I just want to know I'm not a nutjob who made this up in her own head. 
Rumor or not, it would have been interesting to see.
Last version of the rumor I heard, it was going to be a D2V, but tht story was already a couple years old.
If you ask me, half the rumors in the world (this one included) fall into the category of Wishful Thinking.
Yeah, I figured it wouldn't really come together. It was just bugging me because I thought I'd read about it... and then never saw anything again. It was mainly a "I wasn't just seeing things, right?" kind of issue.
I've answered this question more times in the past month or so than I care to count. So I'll copy and paste what I wrote yesterday on Ken's board:

A few years ago, Ken posted on this board that he was working on a movie project based on the Archie-StH universe. After a couple weeks of discussion, the fervor died down as we awaited more announcements. None came. After several forumers asked, Ken revealed that the project was having difficulty getting off the ground, and later that the movie had been shelved altogether for the time being.
The movie will probably never happen, in my opinion. Some fans believe that Ken was lying about the Sonic movie plans. Others believe that he was working with SatAM writer Ben Hurst in the early stages but in some way "backstabbed" him. In his recent Chat, Ken has said that some of the preproduction materials will soon show up on this website, to give us a taste of what might have been.
As BobR pointed out in his reply, The movie is not happening because of Sonic X. As long as Sonic X is in the mainstream, this movie will not happen.

Yeah! I remember! Ken penders was supposed to have some part in creating it. There was also supposed to be a sweepstakes for someone to do a voice of one of the characters! That was defenetly a couple of years ago!I highly dought there will ever be a movie based on the Archie sonic series.
This rumour is not happening because neither Justin Gabrie nor anyone else involved in the franchise except Ken or his pet lackey Bob have ever heard of it. Funny, that.
Ken's usual tendency to say whatever'll win him some short term adulation was showing through again.
