Except the fact that since this is such a big threat, you get those people that are willing to put their necks out as far as possible, to end it.

Zero tollerance policies often do inspire idiots to try such futile acts. Which is why you test your security regualy and teach your guards to Shoot Straight.

The point of fact that my argument misses entirely is that this is a Comic, thus sadly the good guys always have to win. There might be the odd occurrence where a none-cannon or dry-cannon character is sacrificed in the name of a good story, but its all to a design which sees a rebel victory, however drawn out.

I like that nannobot idea... hmm, Maybe implant all hostages with micro/bio bombs that blow if they try to leave. It'd be a nightmare to keep clean, but it'd be wroth it so long as I have a camera to tape the expression on the rebel's faces the first time it happens.

Good guys have to win. Bah to this!

Yeah, ok. I wish they kept 175's ending as canon for maybe like max 6 issues. That would have been great. Not cause it would have been Segasonicy, but I would have loved to seen Sonic get wiped around and have to live with it for more than a day and a half or so -.-

although people don't like Endgame, I loved it for that reason-no one would believe Sonic, and he was at the end of his resources-truly relying on his survival skills again the enemy! (and I don't care what any of you say, that dirt-in-shoe-throw-make-land-strip trick was too damn sexy. Where is that creativity now!)

But yeah. Good guys winning -well no. You know what. After Sonic left, and all this stuff occurred..it seems that there has been one small fact that's slowly creeping up on the residents of new Mobo. (Back story issue plzkthx-ya coulda did that instead of all this friggin' love story crapola that made me stop reading for so long.)

They can't win.

They thought it was over in #50. Then they try and fix the damage to their world-only to have an "eviller" Robobotnik come through to cause some chaos.

They then have to deal with this Eggman being more sinister, causing a bunch of crap to happen that leads to drastic measures from every hero (I'm really just referring to Knux trying to change time and Nate getting killed.)

and then Eggman does a complete sweep and begins eradicating accomplishments left and right...and yeah there's some good points, like no more roboticization and only 7 Chaos Emeralds in the world which must suck for that universe that needed them to survive-the red ones, you know?

but..I mean, Eggman came through strong and has caused some damage to every place on Mobius-even AI. And then he rips apart KNothole-and Nicole makes a city based off of nanites? To me...that's not an accomplishment, that's a setback. Though Nicole may be more advanced that Eggman right now, she's a consistent liability. 😮 The second she goes down, its over. Sweep attack 4tw.

I really think that if Nicole drops-yo we're gonna have a huge shift in power. There's gonna be hell to pay! And most likely its gonna be with guns and DL legionnaires sweeping across the planet...

Things might not be easy now, and there may be setbacks but I want to see the good guys(Sonic and company) win in the end. In spite of Ariche's poor writing at times, and decisons I haven't agreed with, I still care about the characters and I want a basically happy ending.

None of the Robotocized Overlanders has ever shown up again (and Hope acts as though she's the only unrotted part of her family tree left). Just because they were reduced to statues because they resisted the brainwashing doesn't somehow mean that the Bem shouldn't have been able to restore them as well. And yet were never shown in 'the last robian.' So at least in the case of Nate Morgan, Robotocization DID serve it's actual purpose of being a metaphor for death.

Ir Robotocization was done right, it could have the same level of shock and fear Robotnik's OWN return did.

Robotropolis was wiped out in a nuclear strike. They were in Robotropolis.

Actually, inside Robotnik's force field, the city doesn't look that bad, it's just totally saturated with deadly radiation.

Fine then. The Bem can deroboticize them, and they can all die from radiation poisoning, ooor the furries can attempt to get inside the city, and expose it's surroundings to radiation poisoning, and die.

It's a win-win situation here.

The point is that it proves Robotocization can serve it's purpose.
