Unfortunately, there's no cover preview.
Well, I'm excited about Heavy and Bomb. That'll be interesting. I don't see a backstory, either! W00T!
This should be an interesting issue.
Go ahead, comment away!

it's not really a spoiler topic.
but alas i am side tracked... it looks like an all right issue. sadly enough i think i'm going to enjoy Lim's return.
KARL'S BACK!!! YESSS!
KARL'S BACK!!! YESSS!
Which means we can expect to pick up M:25yl very soon.
The preview cover has been out. Go to Westfield Comics if you want to see it. But go before the end of July. Technically, the changeover is supposed to occur on July 25th, but Westfield usually pushes the changeover day back at least once.
Karl comes back in #153. This is only a two-parter.
would you rather have M:25yl or evil twin and shadow stories?
this could mean one of 3 things
1. Karl will take over sonic stories and ken will take up M25yl and Romy will be gone.
2. same thing except they'll cram a romy story in every issue making it 3 stories again.
3. Everyone but Romy and Art Mawhinney will be fired and the sales would drop exponentially.
Remember, Mike said that there are only 2 Romy stories left and that's it.
would you rather have M:25yl or evil twin and shadow stories?
The latter, pleae.
Everyone but Romy and Art Mawhinney will be fired and the sales would drop exponentially.
I greatly enjoy Art's work and I thought the Chosen One two-parter was fairly decent.

I agree. The art (especially the awesome coloring) was fantastic --excepting Titan Tails-- and the story was... pretty okay.
I enjoyed the Chosen One story.

But Dr. Robotnik has two more aces up his sleeve namely, the long-awaited return of popular Sega game characters Heavy and Bomb
Since when are Heavy and Bomb popular? =P
Also:#154 cover
Something is seriously wrong with Sonic's quills in that picture. 0_o
Do remember that the preview covers are usually much suckier compared to the real ones...
Please let M:25YL DIE. It was a good idea gone wrong. Quite frankly, I don't know or really care what happened to Sonic and Lara at the end of the last chapter.
Good: FRY returning, Romy leaving. (No offence to Romy, she has written an occasional story that I enjoyed)
Bad: More Ron Lim (Think around the issue 100 days. AUGH.) and M:25YL
interesting to me that Spaz is moving back towards his style, rather than the imposed SEGA-esque images.
I agree with that one.I never those covers for the 'original' comics...use that style for the Sonic X comics and let Spaz use his own style for the other serie again
Does Spaz have an exact style? His art has changed so much over the years... and there was also the sketchbook in 115...
Whoa. He looks rabid in that preview cover xD.
Hey whoa >> There needs to be an issue where Sonic gets Rabies...
Ok that was completly off topic, but yeah. Weird preview.
Okay so who wants to assassinate Mina? Rival singer maybe...
Nack, probably. She screwed over his plan to shoot Sally.

There are two vicious lies in that sentence. Who in the 'verse was waiting for them to come back and when were they popular? Why are you lying to us, Mr Archie?

That answer the question?
Those aren't lies. They are popular amongst my friends. I liked the two. Actually, it's all a matter of opinion, right?
EE
yeah, that's true.
as far as heavy and Bomb go... didn't they die?
theoretically Bomb Can't. but heavy? probably.
also, weren't they reprogrammed by robotnik in #97? (not sure if i'm right as of issue.)
so that would mean they are still on his side right?
I don't like Heavy much, but I like Bomb.
Heck, I'd be much happier if the issue featured the long-awaited return of that Knuckles guy and those other guys who follow him around.
WHY don't they pay attention to Knuckles? He's been outright GONE since RTAI a YEAR ago.

Are you serious? Knuckles has been the most over exposed (and abused) character in the series. It's about time he got a break.
Ah. And don't forget that he showed up in #147 as Sally in the theatre play.
EE
I'm pretty glad that Heavy and Bomb are coming back, although I hope they'll be more than "enemy of the week". I always liked them as part of St. John's gang, and it felt kind of callous how they were disposed of just because they were robots. It'll be nice having them back again, preferably non-evil.

That's not called paying attention to Knuckles. That is called "filler" and waste of time. ;p
Join the club for wanting Knuckles. They'll probably have Knuckles stuff coming when it's time for me to renew my subscription that ends with #155. I do know that if they don't, I'm not renewing it because my interest in the comic is pretty much at rock bottom now.
It has NOT been a year since RTAI? Has it? Cause I'd be well... really lost on time if it has...
If it has..::Snickers at Knux lovers-waves plush to taunt them::---No seriously, if it has, Jeez how in the world did I miss that.
I do know that if they don't, I'm not renewing it because my interest in the comic is pretty much at rock bottom now.
So I suppose that SonicHq's Review Achieves are going to be out of action again? or does this mean just forumer's reviews?

over exposed (and abused)
Over exposed? only because his stories are way more interesting than sonic's.
Abused? no not at all.
and despite the fact that he had several 3 or more issue breaks for every 4-parter he had, that doesn't qualify as over exposed.

Heh, it's taking me so long as it is right now to update the reviews due to my total lack of interest. I finally finished #149 yesterday. Just two more to go before I update it. ;p
If I do drop it, I'll just have to find someone to do the reviews. I don't think it'll be too difficult. If it does, then no more reviews for awhile.
Oh and DL, when Sonic #153 hits, it'll be basically a year since Knuckles and the Chaotix were in the comic, not counting the silly play. Those that count Locke as a "Knuckles-related" appearance will look to #145 (Shadow/Hope/Locke story) and this recent thing with Evil Sonic as stuff that's supposed to keep Knux fans interested. When it comes to me, they need to try much harder.
i'll be happy to do reviews!

Hypershadow, I think VCP is refering to the whole Green Knuckles and Mobius: 25 years later Arc (if not just about the whole Knux's last of his kind thing). And to be honest I can't blame him (for the first two reason, not the last)
Forget Knuckles, I'm sorely missing Remington. Damn you, Eggman!!!
~Neo
Give them time and they'll probably forget about that plot point...though I'm still annoyed Knux has gone this long without a major appearance...oh wait I don't read the comics...ummm...shutting up now.
Really? That's blasphemous. I now understand all your concers about him being wiped away like he was pre-Knux first spin-off when it was real REAL damn cool to read Knuckles side comics cause they were ridiculusly cool.
..Maybe they're doing that again. But then again, they couldn't afford a second wave of Knux comics lol.
Hrm. Maybe 155 will have him return?
Solo, i now exactly what he's talking about and i don't want to get into this conversation again.
(just so you now it was the third thing you mentioned.)
...I predict that Ash will finally go all the way with the "jealous boyfriend" routine and hit Mina after accusing her of cheating on him...
...Thus putting an end to their relationship, just in time for (Still single) Sonic to save the day...
I hope Nack breaks out of prison and fires another shot at Sally...
...only to reveal that it was actually Anti-Sally all along!
with penders writing it, you could probably bet money on it.
Quote:
...only to reveal that it was actually Anti-Sally all along!
And then finds the real Sally and kills her.
(being that its Archie-Sally we're talking about, i almost agree with you)
...but then, due to a convenient plot device, Sonic convinces Shadow to Chaos Control them both back in time to stop Nack...
alternately: ...but then the Sword of Acorns comes flying...

Because Sonic used to do the same to Sally when Sonic & Geoffrey had unresolved issues surrounding a girl. 😉

Which would kinda fly in the face of the fact that Sonic is seemingly about to go back to his worrying about Sally in the following storyline.
Sure, what you're thinking about could happen, I just doubt it. ;p

And donks Nack out of the way, but he manages another shot...
