"Most shocking development," all I can say is we'll see. I just hope the "death," or whatever is someone who's death I could accept more.
Sonics most dangerous adversaries? I take it we are going to see several Badniks and maybe some of Sub- bosses( I wonder if Metal Sonic will make the cut?) from the Genesis games, right. Sound good I might pick this one up.

Sonic 164- Robotnik is joining with Mogul and Naugus, too? Sheesh, the fur is gonna fly. As has been said already, I eagerly await what could possibly be comparable with Sally's "death" in terms of shock value.

Please don't tell me Sally's going to die again (possibly not, Ian has plans for her, and they don't want to get in trouble again like the pevious attepmt, but that was Ken, this Ian.) but then who, my guess either Sonic's Dad or Uncle or even Rotor.
We'll just have to wait and see what unfolds.

You mean it'll be Tommy's identical twin cousin's robot double. Who it turns out does not die, and is actually the physical empodiment of the Ancient Walkers, Aurora, and the Pillsbury Doughboy.

Frankly, I don't really care if it's Tommy. I know the whole coming back from the dead thing ruined the character and his heroic actions, but I don't reallycare if he dies or not. Now if Ash was to die... But no, he won't show up for a while. Drat.

I like to think you are right, bw1979. I liked to think they would not kill off Sally, though the nervous part of my is concerned they would because I wonder if Saga/Archie still thinks of Sally as a problem. Whenever Archie decides to shake things up, I am always nervous about how it will turn out anyway.
The perview says fallen hero, and Sally is a Princess, so my guess are the same as mention above, but with possibly of the fallen hero being a centian black hedgehog, if you what I mean. But like I said we have to wait and see, Ian will hopefully give us more details.
i thought shadow was solidified as an anti-hero, not fallen hero.

Yeah. I can see him being all Xo! And then dying and giving the kingdom solely to Sally and then yeah hodgepodge power.

Well, it's easier than another break-up story. Don't love just suck that way?
But knowing that if the Anchient Walkers are involved in this, I wouldn't be suprised if this whole "Darkest Storm" turns out to be some sort test to see if maybe the Freedom Fighters and Chaotix care more about each other as well as the people of Mobius and Angel Island then themselves to the point that one, if not all are willing to give their lives for their cause.
And by proving/showing it was a test, help bring the fallen hero back to life. (which has been done in other comics in the past)
And by writing this makes me now think if the fallen hero could be Tails, who falls while trying to save Fiona (which would tye up this love 4-way) and make her realize how much he does love her.
But those are just my thoughts.
Why does everyone want Fiona to be a pedo anyway?
Maybe becaus she becomes part of the team out of nowhere and other various reasons I will not mentiond, because I might get in trouble.

Not everyone does. There are plenty of people who aren't remotely interested in Tails being with anyone.
Aye. I know. T'was just a funny thought that popped into my head when I thought about what true nature a Tails/Fiona thing would have, and the fact that there are many people who all out want it to happen. XD
Tails/Fiona? Could have been worse, they could have further emphasized the Tails/Barby pair. Remember Barby?

If this come true, I hope it would be Nate. Nate was one of my favorites before he was killed, er, roboticized off.

Not really, considering that happened to Tails. And it was a robot duplicate of Fiona, no less.

Man, when it comes to Sonic X, Spaz can do no wrong...but his Sonic covers over the last few years have left a LOT to be desired...
Somehow I think it might be Tails that die's (Or fake die's like Sonic did) and then comes back to life a few issues later on. Cuz Amy, Knuckles, Sally, Shadow and Sonic have all done something major hero like for the planet so it sould be Tails turn to be the big hero for once! Who knows Tails might even return with his Mother and Father. And yeah I also think that Fiona Fox could be the one to betray the F.F. or maybe she's the one that die's for Tails to show that she really does love him and not Sonic.
Well, he did have a huge role with the whole "Chosen One" thing, though I hated the ending...
Geez, couldn't Knuckles even be a bit happy for Sonic's 15th anniversary? What a sourpuss.
Maybe I missed something, but when was Eggman planning on keeping his end of his deal with Sonic, where he promised to restore his father?
My bet is that something happens to Jules, but not death...that's been over done. Maybe when Eggman's restoring him, he brings Jules over "to the dark side"...

Looking at the preview reminded me of how much I love Tracy Yardley's art, especially in comparison to Tim Smith III.
