OMG THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I'VE EVAH DONE THIS.
and it feels good. i finally write spoilers.
overall the issue isn't bad, it's handled pretty well,
so the opening page has lien da (back in character thank god) and dimitri (yes floating head dimitri.) dimitri is complaining about how he's never been so ashamed of his family line since he allied himself with doctor finitevus. (i wouldn't put too much faith in him doing that in the current storyline... but whatever.) lien da basically says "this is how things are now. get over it."
with a very sad looking rutan listening in on the conversation.
the story cuts to sonic,lara-su,tails and rotor in jail. as you can plainly see, rotor has gone through hell and back.
knuckles barges into the prison cell and congratulates them, then he releases them (apparently this was knuckles' plan all along.)
tails hacks the cameras and tells sonic and knux to go after shadow. knux takes care of queen sally,(who also knew about the two timelines.)
sonic after some witty commentary, goes after shadow, landing a punch, shadow doesn't even flinch then attacks back.
shadow explains that even 25 years ago sonic couldn't beat him and he reminds sonic that since he is the ultimate life form, that he can't age. (meaning sonics way too old, and shadow's still in his prime.)
larasu comes to sonics rescue, and shadow mocks her. then shadow says "you have the arrogance of your father." "but i control the power of chaos" which lara-su responds " join the club".
they attack each other with chaos spears (yes, from SA2B)
which each of them deflects. larasu then uses chaos control on shadow, when sonic asks "how long will it last?" she responds "i'm not sure but i don't think my great,great,great,great,great grandkids will have to worry."

basically sonic and sally get back together (the timeline does NOT i repeat Does NOT revert back to normal. meaning all the damage shadow did was permenant.) sonic ends the story by asking "I don't want to sound forward, but have you ever thought about having kids?" which i thought was a good way to end it.
overall, it was a great issue, but the fight was a little too short, granted that ian doesn't have an unlimited amount of pages, but the backup story is probably one that should've never been published. (it was funny, but a little lame.) more on that later.

I am surprised by this.Gotta pick the issue when it comes out to the news stand. So why did the back up story sucks anyway?
it was a more of an off-panel that wasn't very interesting.
it had sonic waking up in his room (in a house that doesn't look like his one from Home) and finding out in an (invitation?) that his friends are throwing him a party.
soooooo, everytime he runs out of his room he hits something and brakes his leg. he goes to sleep and wakes up the same morning like 6 times and brakes his leg a different way every time.

So basically the back up story was the movie "Groundhog Day" only with Sonic. Look like Drazen has winner for worse story of year for his Best and Worse of 2006 list.
exactly. it was just a waste of paper, if they wanted to do a conclusion to M:25yl right they should've just used the whole book to do it. there was alot that they could've added in.
It wasn't the same morning... he woke up the NEXT morning and the party had been postponed.

If we'd been given Ken's version, we'd probably still following Tails around looking for Sonic by this point.
I, for one, found the ending bittersweet.. I'll miss Manic and Sonia. While Sonic and Sally might now have twins named Manic and Sonia, they won't be the same ones.
...And Lara-Su/Manic is now effectively impossible. 
Well, overall this story wasn't bad. Tracy seems to be a good artist. However, needs to work on drawing Sally...she looked "goofied", nose was too big etc. Neway, Sonic's last line was not just weird and understandable but way out of line. I mean aren't they like (16 + 25 = 41) yeah 41 or so in this timeline?! Have they not heard of Down Syndrome, hard labor and high risk factors?! 
What on Mobius were ppl thinking? So this might or might not be plausible.
Other than that, I really like how they portrayed Knux in the overall story.

Thanks to stupid backstory, this storyline wrapped all the loose ends up faster than an episode of "Smallville".

I understand how you feel LoneWolf23, I'd rather not wait that long for Sonic and Sally to reconcile, and it seems like it was done in a dumb way. Since this is only a possible future, hopefully events can happen in the present that will change the timeline and Shadow can be stopped before he causes much damage and marries Sally.

My parents had a kid back in last year. They are in their mid 40s and my little brother is fine. Web md is your friend. People are living longer and longer these days. 1950s you were ancient at 60. 1970s 80 was old and now people are living to be 105. while 80 and 90 are still old. Theres a retired general down here that can probably do more pushups than I can and he is in his 80s.
Since no one mentioned it, it seems some lines were attributed to the wrong characters. It would make more sense for Lara-Su to be saying stuff about the "servers" while Shadow said "Chaos Spear" but it was the other way around. The lines of one character being given to another is something that I noticed in just about every issue I got yesterday.
So there is STILL no Amy rose apperance?!!!OO;What is wrong with the writers?!!And no rouge?There is something unsettling about that....I'm still wondering what they look like in the future.
