Did Spaz do the cover for this issue? I can't see the signature on the cover properly.
Yes, I think so. It does look like his signature.
I couldn't tell, couldn't zoom in to check either, it got too blurry.
It's not exactly Spaz's best cover, but the look on Sonic's face is quite funny.
You have to check his signature to tell if that's his cover?
If you can't tell his art by now, then shame on you.

Now be nice. It's rude to make fun of other people.
Chill. Some people are very good at identifying artists by style and don't need a sig to point it out. (After 100+ covers Spaz is pretty well known to fans) New folks who are no used to it (he hadn't done ArchieSonic since 165)may need confirmation. No big.
I hope I didn't come out as too strict. I did feel that way but I was also trying to be funny.
It's cool. I wasn't being serious either.
Well My review is fianlly up, to see it, click this link, it is in two parts:
PS. Nothing is wrong in doing a review this way, I hope ^^)
Watched bw1979's review. Why didn't anyone mention Amy's bodysuit comment? That was funny!
Finally found a copy.
The 132/134 slip wasn't the only mistake in terms of chronology, either. It was the RoboFiona we saw in Sonic #28 - we didn't get the backstory of how the real thing ended up imprisoned until several years down the line, in one of the Knuckles issues.
I think it actually may've been 28, but I'd have to check. Either way, someone screwed up.
Im suprised no one here seems to have gotten where scourges quote came from.
In the Batman comic "The Killing Joke" Joker says this to Batman.
"All it takes is one bad day to make a normal man go insane."
This is almost exactly what Scourge told Sonic, albiet it ended a bit differently. To tell you the truth though, in the pannel that Scourge says it, he is cast in a shadow so only a few colors on him are seen. It does have that 'Joker' feel to it.
Some may not have been alive in the 50's. Others may not view that origin as canon. A third group just didn't care. If you're going to have a reason, it might as well be multiple-choice.
This issue is not that great. Scourge and Fiona look just like two scoundrels who deserve slaps. One of those stories when you really feel that the characters are only 16 years old.
Compare it to any random story from last year, then.
Maybe somebody can help me out here.
If Fiona's evil, sweet...I'm all for that, given the comic has no Mobius-bound female villains (that I'm aware of, anyway), and too many Freedom Fighters. The problem here is HOW she betrayed them. Not only is it painfully vile - she was downright vicious from beginning to end - but it still doesn't feel 100% real. If she hadn't smacked Tails, I wouldn't doubt the idea that she's up to something nobody knows about, but even so, people can go to some serious lengths to be convincing.
Only thing I can figure that makes sense is that she was still leaning towards Sonic and the FF's up until Sleuth blackmailed her, then she gave up and plunged headlong into her relationship with Scourge, leading to the disappearing and her behavior in 172.
Otherwise, I'm waiting for a real indicator. For now, would anyone balk to say she's the least likable character in the comic? Or does Snively still have her beat?
Fiona was not truely evil. At first. She DID want to be with the FFs, and DID her best to help them repeatedly.
However, Sonic reappearance from death opened old wounds when Sonic accidently left her to die on Eggman Island. And Scourge on TOP of that, gave her temptations she just didn't need!
