I'm sorry, but all three of these are horrific examples of cover art. If I were a new reader, I would not fork out for any of these on cover enticement alone...
I apprieciate that the Sonic cover is supposed to be a counterpart to the much ridiculed charging cover of the previous issue, but still, even that fares better than this. and as a couple, a duel cover that one is supposed to hold together and go 'woah' as if one was Keanu Reaves? No. Heck no. A double cover like this should be an epic thing, and I feel that Tracy! can pull it off, I think he's one of the best... when he's on his game. These covers. No.
Just more evidence the man is overworked really. He still produces top notch art time and again, but it's showing that sometimes, he is slipping. Bring in more Matt Hermes, bring in more... well, anybody. As much as Yardboy deserves th paycheck, he deserves a rest as well, and there are a lot of artists out there....
Also, the archives? Dissapointment by Spaz. The man is a king... this is poopsmith stuff....
Sonic X? Again, he's a king, and he shows it with the Eggys.. but that Sonic... ouch.
Also, is anti-Miles wearing a Other-M prealate top? If so, bonus points!
Sonic X's cover was done by Tracy, not Spaz.
atleast #190 looks a little better than 189. i was wondering what they were so mad about.
The Suppression Squad? Since when did the Anti-Freedom Fighters become the Suppression Squad? And another thing: why would they take Scourge back? He's been thrown out of the group or left it of his own accord several times, and I seriously doubt he's become powerful enough as Scourge where they fear him enough to do what he says. Well, I guess that's just how it works out, and we'll see how things go. It should be rather interesting to see how Bunnie and Sally react in running into Anti-Antoine again.
Scourge went from being tossed around like a rag doll by Locke, to beating the living snot out of him without even blinking an eye. I'd say he's gotten pretty damn powerful.
Not to mention that Scourge went toe to toe with both Sonic and Shadow at the same time!
More fun with MS Paint
Hm... not the best of fits, is it? Oddly enough, when joined together they can be resized to typical desktop wallpaper dimensions.
No anti-bunnie
Makes me sort of wonder what the anti-Fiona is like
#190's cover is exactly what I was expecting it to be and I like it =D
I'm a little curious as to where Evil Bunnie is and why Fiona is replacing her, though.
Also, the cover to Archives #8 seems a little random. "Tundra Road" is an odd choice for a story to be represented on the cover.
So that's all Scourge did, join back up with the anti Freedom Fighters? I await to see what else will go down...
This is one of those rare covers that actually doesn't feature Sonic at all. The only other one I remember is the one with Shadow as the sole character on the cover. (And no, Scourge isn't Sonic. He's not even the Anti-Sonic anymore; he's Scourge.)

ALL HAIL KING SHIGAMADO!

Along with #15 (Sonic is only in that little box they used to have in the corners up until the mid 20s), #20 (is only a statue), #146 (just Shadow), #150 (technically it's Evil Sonic), and #157 (just Shadow).
Umm. Time out, the covers don't even match-setting sky on FF cover, Bright (albiet cloudy) on SS cover.
I think Freedom Fighters lose. 😮 Really kinda think so. This..is gonna be weird >>.
It does sound like the Supression Squad might take over Freedom Fighter HQ, which I agree would be weird. I won't mind as long as it is temporary. Since the anti-Freedom Fighters have to make another appearance in the comic book(you can tell I am excited about this), I would love to see Sally tell Patch off. It about the only thing thing I can think of now that would make this storyline worth it for me.
I didn't think Sonic X's covers could equal the Grande Gordo & Sonic ones. I was wrong.
nevermind, the point was allready made.

Hey! Thats pretty cool they go together.
Evil Tails hair looks ridiculously silly. It was like someone was watching a 'Grease' marathon over the weekend and thought, "Hey, that looks cool!" XD
Just so y'all know, as has almost always been the case, the preview covers are not the final art.
The covers will mesh better in the end, and ....whoops, almost slipped with the new name. "Anti-Tails" will not have shiny grey hair.
Why must you tourture us so?!!!! So does the mean the SS are not the Anti-FFs? You're not fair Ian.
"Anti-Tails" will not have shiny grey hair.
WHAT? AW MAN!
Just because I said it looked silly, doesn't mean I hate it! XD
So is anti-Mobius spelled out as Mobeus? or are we just renaming planet Mobius? ----------------------------------------------------
Well to me this 190 will have a lot to relvel, more emotionly than others, I mean take the word surpression, it basically stands for built-up emotions, and to me that's what Scourge's squard has, especailly Fiona, I mean think of the years of anger buit up in her.
This is going to be one good two parter.
I'm more concerned on who has the most gratingly fugly looking face: Sonic or Scourge. Both have a incredibly disturbing visual. I don't have a problem with the rest of the covers.
I agree Rosas, the real Freedom Figthers are going to have built up emotions too. seeing some of the supression squad members. The cover art, so far, has a lot of be desired for some, but it is neat that two do seem to fit together.
