"On the Run Part One": Bunnie is back, but worse for wear with her wounds being tended in the hospital. Luckily, her friends are by her side... but not for long, as a less-than-lucid Eggman attacks in his Egg-Tortoise walker! Sonic and Tails spring into action, while Iron Queen and crew watch with wide eyes. Why are they so interested in seeing Eggman captured? It's the start of a new pulse-pounding tale guest-starring Nicole, Antoine, Monkey Khan, Espio and more!
PLUS: "Birthright Part One": Now it can be revealed: the long-held secret of the disappearance of Lien-Da's father!

You know, there must be an issue where Lien-Da hand(s) is not attached to her hip! :/

Well, technically in that first panel she is laying down with her hands under her head no where near her hip.
First story looks ok. Crazy Robotnik kind of made me sad in the first place. I miss the old doc.
Second story caught my attention. Lien-Da finally gets a shot at the spotlight. Wonder what she did to dear old dad. Any guesses?
I love Snivleys face on the bottom pannels! Yus, the old famous AOSTH Robotnik quote! I'm really liking the art from this Jamal Peppers guy, what do you guys think?
Is it me, or does the cover look better than it did originally?
It was probably being worked on when it was first previewed. Happens a lot.
Things look interesting. Lol I can't believe he wrote in a Youtube Poop reference........but thankyou so much.
Okay, the Lien-Da story I'm excited for. Course that's probably just because I've been wanting to know about Luger's "disappearance" for years. Plus, Kragok. Yay, Kragok, the poor schmuck whom I felt was underused and could have contributed greatly if Penders hadn't killed him off.
Is it me, or does the cover look better than it did originally?
I think the previews just showed it as having a red background, as opposed to the red-tinted Regina we have now.

Nah, Regina was on the cover then too. She's just a little more pronounced now. The cover looks better, but I'm still not that impressed with it.
Anyways, I've been looking forward to this issue for a while. The main story looks like it will be interesting and hilarious (loved the "SNOO-PING AS USUAL" line), and the back-up should finally answer some questions for those who have been waiting for some answers.
Solid issue. Loved psychotic Eggman. And I hope Lien-Da doesn't kill Dimitri. Nothing to really complain about from my end.
Um... about the fan-comic in the back (not the off-panel), I could have sworn I've seen that exact comic somewhere else. Drawn much better too. I'm hoping someone didn't copy it and submit it to Archie.
EDIT: I just looked through my flash drive for that comic I mentioned. I found that it had been made by the user WinonaHeart at DeviantArt. I'm not sure if she was the first to come up with it, but someone ripped someone off and got that into the comic. It just... irks me.
I guess because I haven't watched that youtube video, I can't appreicate that joke.
I googled it, and am now quite amused that Ian did that. He also got a tastes like chicken (Dub?) reference in there.
Jamal Peppers's art is the most true to Sonic I've seen in the comic.
