I'm too tired to make a witty comment about the PLOT Device.
Ha, ha, PLOT device I hadn't noticed it before thanks for pointing it out!
I like how the story writing flows nicely and all the witty things being said/done. I like the subtle flirting that's going on. We'll see what the ride will offer when I get the issue. I finally renewed my subscription
The only thing that's bothering me is how Sally seems to have gained weight in the first panel of the second page. Maybe there's just too many pregnant women around me :S
Stress can cause some to indulge a bit...<3

Sally looks fine. It's just a medium shot of two characters. It probably looks like she's gained weight because of the lack of legs, which helps gives off that "slimming look" in other panels that feature a full figured Sal.
Besides, it's about time we has some thick girls taking charge. More junk in the trunk, more cushion for the-
Well you get that I'm saying (Dear Lord I hope) XD;

o.O? Wha?
::Reads every single word now::
..XD! Wow that's funny.
I don't normally say much for this comic since I've teetered on and off on whether I liked the current storyline or not. For some reason, this particular issue clicked with me. Maybe it's the Sonic/Sally dynamic - one where Sally remains rational while Sonic spouts a one-liner and does something heroic. It's always been a great dynamic for me and remains both engaging and funny (this issue had some pretty entertaining dialogues). Maybe it's Eggman's brief time on page where he slowly looks as though he's gaining sanity (he's putting his sunglasses back on, I wonder if that's a sign). Or maybe, just maybe it's the emotional ties between Sally and Nicole or even Tails' faith in his friends. Either way, instead of breezing through nonchalantly, I clung onto every page.
I'm honestly looking forward to next issue, though that may simply be because I have a rather weird intrigue with Archie Sonic's Amy Rose. I feel she's a potential that's only been slowly tampered with (her maturity growth, for example), so to see her in a leading role next issue sounds very interesting.
I guess the glasses going back on and his dialogue mean Eggy's starting to become himself again. Good to see Uncle Chuck again.
Liked all the dialogue in the beginning, but I didn't really like the
rest. Monkey Khan and Tails having that random scuffle (really seemed
to be there just to add drama, though I can see someone arguing that it
is a lead in to further MK character development)? Sally creating walls
in the digital world? Nicole being changed back so soon?
Sorry, but I just couldn't get into it that much. Aw well. Looking forward to the SU arc.
I guess it seems soon to us be--wait what? Nicole changed back? I thought the SU arc took place BEFORE they changed Nicole back :O.....
Nope. Issue ended saying Sonic's adventure continues in the next SU arc. So yeah, Nicole is back to normal that fast. I myself thought that her becoming a pawn would be the reason why they left, but alas. For such a "you're screwed" move by the IQ, I thought they got past that way too fast.
That's...crazy if Nicole is back to normal that fast. Almost a little annoying. I was hoping that would last for a few more issues. Am I the only person a bit conflicted on this arc?
I hope its a "Well, I can do this at any time, so I'll let you have a victory for now" type thing, and not like "Oh hai we made you a Mac using mai Ipad! Now you're takeover free!"
Maybe she isn't back to normal, maybe it's... A TWEST! :0
So...
None of them could guess that a city of nanites might be a bad place to hide from a computer mage. Monkey Khan said as much.
The villains did not guess it either, until Snively suddenly came up with the idea right when it was convenient?
Lots of throwing of the idiot ball here.
What Nel didn't point out about Nicole regaining control is that she's playing the "Uncle Chuck" as she's pretending to still be Iron Nicole to act as a spy and hinderance within.
I did forget that. I just wish she remained a major obstacle for the FF for a few more issues, because that was a legit, awesome threat. Far more interesting than another "good guy pretends to be on the bad guy's side". We just got that with Bill. The last time I recall the "good guy is under bad guy control" plotline was Enerjackles, so it's not completely original, but that was at least over a year ago now.
Ah well. This arc's been pretty hit or miss regardless, but I'm curious to see what's in store with two books playing it out in the coming months.
Like others have noted (Or perhaps I'm just misreading things), it'd be nice if Regina was still in total control and just letting this happen to give them false hope, or to let their guard down, just a little. Guess we just have to keep reading.
For those here that may be unaware, and to set up some context with what I post, I am a fan of the wrestling world. Some terms I use to describe certain character alignments are in line with what is used in the world of pro wrestling. I call 'good guys' Babyfaces/Faces and 'bad guys' Heels. I ONLY use the terms BabyFaces/Faces and Heels, and nothing else, as I consider all other terms to be far too kitschy and childish for my tastes, and think that all other terms except BabyFaces/Faces and Heels should be permanently retired from all future use. I also use the word 'turn' to describe a change in alignment for a character, i.e. 'I turned heel on my family when I found out they stabbed me and my friends in the back.' Context clear? Good.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this.
Having Nicole turn so soon is like pouring tons of sugar on a justifiably bitter situation, methinks. Regina worked HARD for this complete, utter, and total victory against the people of New Mobotropolis in 208. Sonic and co should be able to take and swallow those bitter pills for a few issues...not be given lolly pops and gummie bears the following issue.

Well, Sonic and the gang is gonna have to fight all the clans and whatever other surprises in the DK for the next 4 issues, and Amy and the others are gonna have to fight the threat at home as well, so it won't all be "lolly pops and gummy bears" for them.
Well..."technically" they have control of the city now...via Nicole. Nicole controls the city. All Nicole would really have to do now is...unlock all the doors and remove the cage dome. Release the city's army and captured people. Whip out some nanite hands and grab all the ninja dudes and "teleport" Snively, King, and Queen to holding cells like she did with Mogul and Nack.
"Technically" all this could be done with a free Nicole. It sure looks like nice lolly pop to me.
It may not be one of those huge circular rainbow colored lolly pops, but it's at least one of those small Dum Dum suckers people throw out at parades. Nothing wrong with it. I was just hoping that I would be reading more about Evil Nicole then Good "Spy" Evil Nicole.
Plus theres a spindash fight and Eggman finds his glasses...it's getting good.
