I've made the greatest part of the job: the translation ! It's only the #1, but others are due to follow in a short time ! 😉
Since the comic book is not edited in France, it's the best way to let it be known by the French Sonic fandom !
(of course you have to own the original one to download it !)

But these were more than text translations...they featured full color page scans...That's not legal...It's like posting a translation of the latest Harry Potter book... The intention is good (Alcatel, I think it's amazing that you are attempting this undertaking!) but it just isn't legal...

So it's not edited in France & Belgium, but you have to have the issue to download it? Riiiight xD
That would mean that you would have to own the original version (ie, the English-language one) in oder to be legally allowed to download the translated version.
I know, but it's not edited eitheir in french or english. Most french Sonic fans don't have those comics, and I don't think they won't download them just for that.
I'm not condoning stupid copyright rules, but that could be a potential problem for us. What you're doing is a great service to fans and I support it, but at this time we can't really allow the links here. People can PM you about it, though, or you could PM forumers who speak French.

1) Most of the users are American or Canadian and can buy the comic book
2) They have no interest in reading it in French
It was for the news. 😉 We French are just hopeless in foreign languages. It's good to enlarge Sonic's audience by ourselves, isn't it ?
Yes, legally you have to own the original ones to be allowed to download the translation, but that's your responsability.
In our French site Sonic-online.net, we started to write a few detailed summaries years ago!!...
In the beginning, Adamis and I wondered if we should sum up the many stories or simply translate them... and we eventually summed them up (with a selection of scans to illustrate them) since we did not want to steal the author's work!!...
In January 2005, we decided to improve our summaries and creatd THE NO ZONE in which you can find many things... and, in a very near future, we'll start to publish an original fan comics/manga about a little hedghog mad about Sonic the Hedgehog and trapped on another planet!!...
Maybe we'll make an English version for Sonic HQ if it is good enough and if you are interested!!...
If it's a fan comic by you guys at Sonic Online, I'm sure it'll be more than good. ^_~
Well, we try our best to make an interting and funny comics... but puns will be VERY VERY HARD to translate!!...
