Sonic the Hedgehog #47
Crisis on Infinite Mobiuses Part 5 (of 8)
The Freedom Fighters are in the Prime Zone! Due to the mad work of the Robotniks, the Prime Zone has been reduced to pure blackness, with metallic constructs and defensive fortresses - and the Death Egg - providing the only illumination in the darkness. The Freedom Fighters, even with the help of Chaos (who is acting on instinct against Robotnik's defenses), are swiftly being worn down by sheer, overwhelming force...but then, when all hope seems lost, Zonic the Zone Cop enters the Prime Zone, leading a massive force comprised of the denizens of other Zones! Can the Freedom Fighters of Mobius-1 infiltrate the Death Egg amidst the chaos between the multi-Zone force and Robotnik's two armies?
Knuckles the Echidna #19
Knuckles' Quest Part 4 (of 5)
It's onto another settlement, and Knuckles is beginning to have more conflicting visions from the Source. It's showing him images of a tremendous battle in a realm of metal and shadow...and it's only made clearer to him when, after arriving at the next Echidna settlement in a jungle, he sees the echidnas entering a portal opened by Zonic the Zone Cop! He's here to gather more reinforcements for the battle already underway in the Prime Zone. His goal is to stop the destruction of all zones by Robotnik - which is certainly news to the Guardian! - and he wants the help of Knuckles and Julie-Su in the already-escalating conflict! Will the Guardian of the Master Emerald and the Dark Legion's second-in-command agree?
Sonic the Hedgehog #48
Crisis on Infinite Mobiuses Part 6 (of 8)
The Freedom Fighters have infiltrated the Death Egg, just barely, but now its internal defences are wearing them down further! Meanwhile, the multi-Zone force is in retreat and even Chaos can't fight on for much longer... Which is all bad news, because Robotnik's activated the Death Egg and, combined with the Ultimate Annihilator, is going to annihilate every single Zone the rebels are from! By the time the Freedom Fighters have reached a point where they can take down the Death Egg, only Sonic and Anti-Sonic are still standing.
And they're outnumbered and outgunned. Not everyone is walking away from this fight.
Knuckles the Echidna #20
Knuckles' Quest Part 5 (of 5)
As Knuckles unites another settlement with the rest of the echidnas heading for Angel Island, he realises he can't finish his task and join Zonic's team at the same time. He's only got one option - he's going to have to trust Julie-Su to finish the job! That done, he's off to join the battle in the Prime Zone... or he would if Robotnik's forces hadn't captured him! Now he faces roboticisation, all the while knowing he failed to help in the battle of the multiverse... and that's when the Source speaks.
Prepare next issue for a tie-in to the Crisis... one you'll never see coming!
Sonic the Hedgehog #49
Crisis on Infinite Mobiuses Part 7 (of 8)
Robotnik has all the cards. He has the Freedom Fighters under lock and key. He has forced the multi-Zone army into a full-scale retreat. Knuckles is about to be roboticized. Turbo Tails, even with his power as the Chosen One, has been subdued. Anti-Sonic and Sonic are all that's left.
Robotnik, with one last surprise, reveals that he has willingly roboticized HIMSELF since he destroyed Metal Robotnik...only with far greater powers! With the power to roboticize with a mere touch, Dr. Robotnik - rechristening himself as Robo-Robotnik - offers the two Sonics a place in his new empire.
Anti-Sonic charges. He is roboticized into Mecha Sonic...and now Sonic is on the verge of being throttled to death by his roboticized counterpart...all hope seems lost...until Knuckles, having broken free, gives Sonic all of the power within him...a mixture of Chaos power and the mystic energy of the Source!
A flash of light. A blur of gold. Sonic is now Hyper Sonic, and it's up to him to put a stop to Robo-Robotnik. However, Robo-Robotnik has the Death Egg, Mecha Sonic, his two armies of robots, the Ultimate Annihilator, and a roboticized body with enough power to level a city block! Can Hyper Sonic stop Robo-Robotnik without being roboticized by the doctor's touch? It's the battle of the century...and its aftermath is finally settled in Sonic's 50th issue...and nothing will be the same afterwards...
Knuckles the Echidna #21
Ending the Crisis
On Mobius-1, Julie-Su reluctantly leads the echidnas back to Angel Island. Upon her return, she is interrogated immediately by the Brotherhood, who demand to know where Knuckles has gone. All she has to answer them with is what Zonic told them...and now she finds herself hoping - oddly enough - that the Guardian makes it back in one piece (to clear her name, if nothing else...).
In the Prime Zone, the Source offers one last-ditch plan to Knuckles: merge the Chaos power within him with the Source itself, and give it to Sonic! However, the consequences of giving such power could be bad for both Sonic...and Knuckles!
Knowing nothing else will win the day, Knuckles does the only thing he can: break out and give Sonic all the power he has! After his friend becomes Hyper Sonic, the fastest hedgehog in the world has one last request to Knuckles: get his friends out of the Prime Zone.
Will Knuckles - body steadily growing weaker after giving away his power - be able to keep his promise to Sonic? The end of this issue will reveal if they get back to Mobius-1...or not...
Sonic the Hedgehog #50
Crisis on Infinite Mobiuses Part 8 (of 8)
Hyper Sonic has managed to devastate Robo-Robotnik's armies and destroy the Ultimate Annihilator... but the Death Egg and Robo-Robotnik himself have enough power to bring him down! Robotnik's attempt at conquering the multiverse may be thwarted, but with Hyper Sonic reverted back to Sonic all hope is lost for Mobius-1. The Death Egg is poised, ready to incinerate Knothole and everyone in it...
Except Mecha-Sonic isn't going to submit to his programming quietly. In a heroic and tragic sacrifice, the former Anti-Sonic makes his last stand and brings the Death Egg down. Now it's just Sonic VS Robo-Robotnik. A grudge match built up from years of mutual hate, a fight that will determine whether Mobius is freed or remains a dictatorship, everything of the last 50 issues leading to this one fight...
...and only one can walk away.
Knuckles the Echidna #22
They Think It's All Over
Knuckles has lead the Freedom Fighters back to Mobius, just in time to witness the final battle and the Death Egg's destruction. Knuckles, however, is in no state to watch this - his body has weakened to the point of near-death, and his Guardian days seem over! He can at least take comfort in the fact that Angel Island's echidnas have all come home, and the grand Echidnapolis city is teeming; now, he can live with his mother and step-family. But how can he cope, no longer being fit to continue as Guardian or indeed as a defender of anything? Why is Julie-Su taking a more personal interest in him? And what's going to happen now that Chaos is back as Guardian of the Master Emerald...
Sonic the Hedgehog #51
Fallen Hero
Robo-Robotnik's body was destroyed. However, at the very end, Sonic fell...to the doctor's touch. Sonic has been roboticized, becoming Robo-Sonic. And worst of all, Robotnik transferred his memory and thought processes into Robo-Sonic's body! As the doctor begins reconstructing Robotropolis after the Death Egg's crash into it, he can only laugh at the irony. Robotnik lives on in Sonic...is the Blue Blur gone forever?
Back in Knothole, Sally is in mourning. Despite all of their efforts, Robotnik is still alive, in Sonic's metallic body no less! But Charles and Rotor aren't giving up; they begin a full-scale research operation into reversing roboticization! Can the Freedom Fighters continue the fight against a dictator who has the roboticized body of their greatest champion?
Knuckles the Echidna #23
A New Life Part 1 (of 3)
Knuckles is no longer the Guardian of the Master Emerald. That position is filled by Chaos, whose presence is calling back the Chao creatures of ancient times. The Brotherhood has no choice but to except this predicament...after all, Chaos was the original guardian.
Although Knuckles has no more power and is no longer the Source's host, he can still fight. So to sate his urge to kick some heads, he enlists with the Echidnapolis police force, under the guide of Constable Remington. His first mission? Keep an eye on the Legionnaire known as Julie-Su!
Sonic the Hedgehog #52
Mind Games
Robo-Sonic is on a rampage through Robotropolis, as Sonic fights to regain control of his body against Robotnik's possession. They've had physical battles before; now they fight in each other's memories and psychoscapes, attempting to undermine the other's identity and destroy them! Sonic's been pushed to his utter limits - can he find further strength within himself to win this final battle or is it all over?
Knuckles the Echidna #24
A New Life Part 2 (of 3)
Knuckles has settled in well to his life in the Echidna Security Team. Now, with the help of his colleagues and the Chaotix, he's out to bring down Echidnapolis' greatest crimelord - the malevolent Doctor Finivetus! He's got his withered fingers in every single illicit operation going; taking him down will be a challenge. And meanwhile, the Dark Legion continues to scheme - so it's a good thing Knuckles has an man on the inside: Julie-Su!
OOC: Oops. Made a mistake. I accidentally clicked 's' instead of 'd'; Knuckles is actually serving under the GUIDE of Constable Remington, not acting as him. Sorry about that.
Whoops! *edits*
Sonic the Hedgehog #53
Knothole's New Champion
Good news: Robotnik cannot fully defeat Sonic's psyche, as it is bonded to Robo-Sonic's body and memory.
Bad news: Robotnik - now in control of Robo-Sonic - has installed an inhibitor chip in his memory banks to completely suppress Sonic's mental processes. Now Robo-Sonic is fully under the command of the dictator, and Sonic no longer has a say in the matter!
Meanwhile, back in Knothole, Tails is upset by the recent turn of events and the loss of Sonic. However, he knows he has no time for tears; he's a big boy. He's the Chosen One. He has power. And he would use that power to defend Knothole in Sonic's stead. His first test, however, involves stopping a SWATbot patrol on his own...
Knuckles the Echidna #25
A New Life Part 3 (of 3)
It seems that in exchange for manpower and technology, Doctor Finivetus is giving the Dark Legion vital funds for its plans! Fortunately, Julie-Su is able to transmit the location of Finivetus to the Echidna Security Team, allowing Knuckles, Remington, the Chaotix, and a whole squad of echidnas to bust into Finivetus in the middle of an illegal drug sale, getting him dead to rights!
Unfortunately for Julie-Su, before she can leave the Dark Legion's hideout, she's attacked by its new leader, the former third-in-command...Kragok!
As Knuckles enters his apartment as the issue ends, he sees a note by Kragok: Julie-Su has been kidnapped!
Sonic the Hedgehog #54
The Long Road Part 1 (1 of 3)
Robotnik is having problems - namely that his empire was shattered and his generals & sub-bosses are refusing to rejoin him, prefering to rule for themselves. Looks like it's time for Robo-Sonic to go on a world tour and whip the generals into line! Knothole and the other Mobian Freedom Fighters are not about to let him do that, and Bunnie, Antoine, Rotor, Sally and Geoffrey are forced to hunt down the body of their old friend.
And Tails, defender of Knothole, feverishly helps Uncle Chuck in his research on reversing the Roboticisation process - when they hit a breakthrough!
Knuckles the Echidna #26
Counterstrike
Julie-Su has been kidnapped and Knuckles is going to have to do exactly what the Dark Legion say if he wants her returned alive... But Knuckles is not playing ball! Turning into a double agent in the EST for them is not an option, but how can he fight back when he no longer has the power he once had as Guardian? Well, Kragok's about to discover that Knuckles still has the mind of a Guardian, as well as years of knowledge about Angel Island's geography & secrets, and a lot of favours he can call in. Kragok's also about to discover the Dark Legion shouldn't have held Julie-Su in a base so close to the Hydrocity Zone and its underground currents, especially when dealing with an echidna who knows how to work the Zone's machinery!
By the end of the day the base has been gutted by floodwater, their security has proven penetrable by Charmy Bee (and Julie-Su's cell guards vulnerable to a sting to the head), their stored blasters have turned out to be easily converted into concussion bombs, and they've lost Julie-Su. And with all this damage done, Knuckles is able to get right up to Kragokk in the middle of his ruined base and leave a message - "don't mess with me".
It's a definitive victory for Knuckles and he best savour it, because things are going to get bad - Chaos is up to something once again...
Sonic the Hedgehog #55
The Long Road Part 2 (of 3)
Robo-Sonic's first stop is in Downunda, where he swiftly teaches Crocbot why it's a bad idea to mess with him. It is to the great displeasure of the Knothole Freedom Fighters that by the time they reach Downunda, Robo-Sonic is already gone. The shoe is on the other foot now; Robotnik is the one with Sonic's speed now!
They quickly head to Mercia, where Robo-Sonic seeks to put General D'Coolette in his place. But what this inadvertently causes is an unexpected reunion between Antoine and his roboticized father, the General!
Reversal
It seems that reversing the roboticization process involves analyzing a person's genetic code and replacing the metallic pieces with organic parts...all done in a deroboticization process. The only thing left to do is make a deroboticization machine...so it falls to Tails to infiltrate Robotropolis and take a roboticization machine for himself! Will he succeed? Not if the COMbot-X guarding Robo-Sonic's headquarters has anything to say about it!
Knuckles the Echidna #27
Leave Me Alone!
Chaos is frustrated at the constant strife it sees between the echidnas. The Chao are in danger, and the watery beast will not stand for it! All it takes is for one false move, and Chaos might go rampant again. Wouldn't you know it; Kragok comes to steal the Master Emerald with a whole sqaud of Dark Legionnaires...and this makes Chaos ANGRY...
An Introspective Look
Julie-Su, while returning to Echidnapolis from the ancient Hydrocity Zone, has an introspective look at herself. She thinks of her past - how she was born in the Negative Zone, how she grew up to become the second hand of Enerjak - and she thinks of her present - how she got cooped up with Knuckles, how she is now on the Dark Legion's hit list - and she thinks of the future.
Sonic the Hedgehog #56
The Long Road, Part 3 (of 3)
Robo-Sonic is still in Mercia, and decides to take out the Freedom Fighters while he's here with them. Sonic is faced with a choice, use the remaining strength of his almost broken psyche to save his friends and completely shatter the rest of his mind? Or not to save them to save his own sanity?
Luckily, Sonic doesn't have to make that choice. Rob O' the Hedge, local Freedom Fighter in Mercia, helps out in the battle against Robo-Sonic and General D'coolette. Eventually, the FFs are able to incapicate both General D'coolette and Robo-Sonic. Bruised and battered, the Freedom Fighters take the two back to Knothole Village, where they have word that Tails and Uncle Chuck almost have got a fully working deroboticiser waiting for them. Finally, they'll have Sonic back, won't they?
Knuckles the Echidna #28
Absolute Chaos, Part 1 (of 3)
Kragok and the Dark Legion have enraged the guardian, Chaos. It's good thing, however, that the power of the 7 Chaos Emeralds aren't available to him, and so he uses the next best thing, the Master Emerald. The God of Destruction siphons energy from the Master Emerald to fuel himself and his power. And, as his first act of become Absolute Chaos, he literally washes away the Dark Legion. But, it doesn't seem as Chaos can control his temper, and is off once again to get rid of all the Echidnas!
Sonic the Hedgehog #57
Uh-Oh
Robo-Sonic is placed within the deroboticizer at Knothole. Sonic is finally ready to get back his own body, and away from Robotnik for good. However, just as Rotor pulls the switch, Robotnik makes one last push...and succeeds! Robo-Sonic has been deroboticized...but Robotnik's mind is still in control! Now with Sonic's flesh-and-blood body at his command, he immediately begins a furious assault on Knothole, sending the signal to his armies in Robotropolis to come and storm Knothole! Can Tails, Knothole's new champion, hold up to such overwhelming odds?
Knuckles the Echidna #29
Absolute Chaos Part 2 (of 3)
Knuckles is no longer the guardian. But as Chaos rampages through the streets of Echidnapolis, do you think he'll sit back? Of course not! The Chaotix and the Echidna Security Team bring the battle to Chaos, while the Brotherhood seek for a way to stop the entity for good! But what happens...when Chaos strikes at Julie-Su? And Knuckles just happens to witness it...?
Sonic the Hedgehog #58
One Shall Stand
No more waiting! It's Sonic VS Tails in a fight to the finish! Tails, outgunned, resorts to using his brain to find ways to neutralising Sonic, and against all odds is winning... except he knows the only way to stop Robotnik is to kill Sonic, and he can't bring himself to do it.
But Geoffrey St. John can.
And that is how Robotnik was defeated for good - held under the water and drowned whilst in the body of his greatest enemy. Luckily, Sonic was able to be ressucitated, and his mind is now free and Mobius's dictator is gone forever. Unluckily, Sonic's mind and body and everyone in Knothole have been shattered by the relentless events of the last twenty issues. What happens now?
Knuckles the Echidna #30
Absolute Chaos Part 3 (of 3)
Nothing can stop Absolute Chaos. Nothing!
At least, not by force. Knuckles is now forced to make contact with Chaos' mind and try to resolve the monster's rage and grief, in the hope that calming him will end the threat. But can he do this after seeing Chaos strike down Julie-Su and half of Echidnapolis, or will he only contaminate Chaos with more rage? Does Knuckles have the strength of will to meet this challenge with restraint & understanding?
(Yay! I was wondering what happened to you.)
Sonic the Hedgehog #59
Shattered
Sonic, despite assurances from Tails, is having trouble dealing with the aftermath of Robotnik's ultimate defeat. Even the coolest guy on Mobius can't stomach the fact that his body was under Robotnik's control...and that he nearly destroyed Knothole is horrifying in and of itself. Sally can't figure out a way to get him out of his funk, Zonic the Zone Cop suddenly appears!
Why? Because in the aftermath of the Crisis on Infinite Mobiuses, the zones are in disarray, and he needs some helping hands. Will good ol-fashioned work be the key to shaking Sonic out of his self-imposed funk?
Knuckles the Echidna #31
Sins of the Past
As Knuckles is connected with Chaos, the watery beast forces the former Guardian to relive the event that made him so chaotic: the attack of Pachamac and the Echidna Tribe! Inserted into Chaos' memories, Knuckles only recourse to soothing the beast is to stand firm with Tikal in the face of the Echidna Tribe's attack!
Sonic the Hedgehog #60
Welcome To The Tip
The Zones are in chaos and need sorting out - and in the case of Zone-238, it's become a interdimensional refugee camp and dumping ground for dozens of Zones that fled the Robotniks. It's overcrowded, full of identity confusion, and plagued by a crime gang made up solely of different versions of Nack. It needs someone to sort things out.
It just got Sonic!
The Dead Men Affair Part 1 (1 of 3)
Robotnik is gone and his sub-bosses are being taken out, and Robotropolis can finally be reclaimed by Knothole. And defending this brave new world from the shadows are the Majesty's Secret Service, and its premier agents Geoffrey St. John and Hershey! Their current mission is to infiltrate and steal data from an abandoned Robotnik base - unfortunately for them, Station Square wants the same data and just dispatched Special Operative Rouge!
Knuckles the Echidna #32
Hunter And Hunted Part 1 (1 of 2)
Knuckles is back as the Guardian! His powers restored and a peaceful Chaos now dormant, the Rad Red One is now champion and defender of Angel Island, and the Dark Legion are still shattered from the events of Absolute Chaos. Time for Knuckles to spend quality time with his family and Julie-Su, right?
Wrong. A dangerous Overlander known as the Hunter has come to town, and he's hunting Guardian. Knuckles met him once before when he was much younger, and barely survived. Now his childhood nightmare is back, and this time he can't run or hide...
Sonic the Hedgehog #61
Headbusters Anonymous
Sonic has finished dealing with the Nack gang, and he's starting to feel like his old self. Busting some heads has been just what he needed to get back to normal. So now with the lawbreakers dealt with, Zonic appoints several responsible Mobians from Zone-238 to head up the relocation program to return the refugees to their own Zones...but before Sonic can help, he runs into the Anti-Freedom Fighters, who think Sonic was responsible for Anti-Sonic's death!
The Dead Men Affair Part 2 (of 3)
Geoffrey St. John - former member of the Police Force - and Hershey - career agent for the Secret Service - are putting all of their skills to the test inside the abandoned base, which still has a running security system. But then, they run into the bat known as Rouge...and when they begin a scuffle, they accidentally activate a robot model that was too powerful to be mass-produced...and with faulty programming, so it can't be controlled! Behold: MEGAbot!
Knuckles the Echidna #33
Hunter and Hunted Part 2 (of 2
Knuckles is in a frenzied battle with the Hunter, who has enough skills and gadgets to match Knuckles' overwhelming strength! Can the Guardian defeat the Hunter on his own?
Maybe not...but that's what friends are for! The Chaotix is here to lend a hand!
Sonic the Hedgehog #62
The Great Rock And Roll Swindle
Sonic's back home following his successful mission and the beating down of the Anti-Freedom Fighters - and with him comes Mina Mongoose, her home Zone destroyed by the Ultimate Annihilator. With Robotnik gone, surely this is the best time to come to Mobius. Problem is, Knothole is holding a large benefit concert for Robians awaiting tribute - and the raiders known as Sleet & Dingo are planning to loot the joint! This looks like another job for Sonic, and while he's at it he may just rock this town...
The Dead Men Affair Part 3 (of 3)
Dodging MEGAbot is hard enough. Stopping Rouge from stealing the data to create an army of MEGAbots, that's much harder! Geoffrey & Hershey have only one option left to see Knothole comes out ahead - Scorched Earth tactics!
Knuckles the Echidna #34
The First Date
Knuckles thought fighting supervillains and rampaging demi-gods was tough, but that was nothing compared to taking Julie-Su out on a date! He has no idea of what to do, she doesn't know quite how she feels about him, and the Chaotix & Remington are hard at work trying to hold the fort down for their buddy against Echidnapolis' criminal elements. This first date could turn out well, or it could turn out to be a mini apocalypse...
(This is Ultra on a different account.)
Sonic the Hedgehog #63
Jealousy? Nah, I Just Miss You.
Sally has been an emotional wreck recently, having dealt with the first 'death' of Sonic, the Crisis, the roboticization of Sonic, the 'Robotink is Sonic' situation, and his continued absence from Knothole on missions have dealt a harsh toll on her psyche. The responsibility of being Knothole's ruler in the stead of her father, coordinating Mobotropolis' reconstruction, and all the pressures of being the people's leader only add to the stress. And perhaps it's the sight of a female mongoose clinging to Sonic that drives her over the edge...
She confronts Sonic at the Lake of Rings, where she launches an emotional tirade at Sonic. Too dumbfounded to respond, the answer comes from ANTOINE, of all people: go on a date. Find out next issue!
Hello King Max
What's happened with King Maximillion Acorn since he was brought back from Angel Island in issue #18? Why has he been incapacitated and confined to a mental ward since then? Simple...it's because of his torture after Robotnik's coup...his escape from the tyrant's prison...and his slow descent into insanity since then. No wonder Sally's ruling in his place.
Knuckles the Echidna #35
Chaotic Date!
Rude waiters. Wrong food. Bad service. A robbery at the restaurant. The subsequent beatdown of the robbers. A movie...dubbed in a foriegn language, with bad subtitles in the Mobian language ('Oh how love you I do?' Come on!). A fire in the movie theater. The subsequent dousing of the fires.
Yeah, it was bad a date as one could have. But then again, the kiss at the end made it all worth it to both Knuckles AND Julie-Su...somehow.
Who would've thought a Guardian and a Dark Legionnaire would hook up?
Sonic the Hedgehog #64
Passion Part 1 (of 3)
Sonic and Sally, at long last, have gone on a date. It's time to express their feelings and patch up their battered relationship. Unfortunately, it's also time for Black Doom to make his next obsessive attempt at planetary genocide - and with his asteroid destroyed, he's planning to terraform Mobius into its replacement! And he's starting in the very fancy area of Knothole that our heroes are in...

Robotnik is gone, Angel Island is stable, and Knuckles has found love. And that's when the Metal Knuckles arrives, created as a means of beyond-the-grave vengeance by Robotnik. It's stronger than Knuckles, it's completely merciless, and it can outgun half the EST... and it wants to take the Guardian's life for its own!
Sonic the Hedgehog #65

Sonic is fed up and tired. He's had to endure a lot of hardship, and just when he's able to relax with his sweetheart, Black Doom decides to wreck it! And to Sonic, that's no good! So as Sonic gets medieval on Black Doom, Sally decides to pitch in...with the help of some handy weaponry from Rotor.
But in response, Black Doom begins stripping off parts of his body, which become sentient soldiers, more powerful than his entire Black Arms force...can Sonic, Sally, and the Freedom Fighters (with some special assistance from the Tails the Chosen One) defeat Black Doom?
Knuckles the Echidna #37
The Return of Enerjak
Metal Knuckles. Unstoppable. Ferocious. And with an AI that desires Knuckles' cushy life. It wants to assimilate Knuckles into its very being, completely taking his place. Its battle with the Guardian continues onward, even into the Haven of the Brotherhood...but it is there where a great mishap occurs. Metal Knuckles, in the chaos occuring in the base, assimilates the wrong echidna...Dimitri, who has been on life support since his assault on Haven. And with the elder echidna's mastery of technology, he quickly eliminates the body's innate AI and takes control.
Enerjak is back, stronger than ever, and hungry for revenge! And his first target is the one in front of him: Knuckles!
Sonic the Hedgehog #66

Black Doom's infection is on the verge of being released, and the Freedom Fighters are outgunned! And when Sally is injured, Sonic brings out his last-resort weapon - a Chaos Emerald, resulting in the power of Super Sonic!
Unfortunately, while Black Doom is thwarted and forced into retreat, Sonic and Sally's relationship has been taken out. After so much hardship and chaos and crises, this was the last thing it needed - and Sally has just broken it off.
So where does Sonic go from here?

Which is just what Knuckles planned. Now Enerjak is trying to fight the Guardian on his home turf, where he knows the full layout and where all the traps are. Now Knuckles is the one with the advantage!
Sonic the Hedgehog #67
On the Rebound Part 1 (of 2)
Sonic is feeling more miserable than ever before. The war against Robotnik is over, but there are still threats out in the world (Ixis Naugus and Snively among them, both having been missing since the Crisis...)...and Sally has broken up with him. Not his fault, right? He's been busy fighting for Knothole and all of Mobius.
Tails - the champion of Knothole in his absence - tries to console his hero by telling him of how hard things have been on Sally. That she hasn't been able to adapt with all of the pressures put upon her recently. That he'll always be the Blue Blur to him. Sonic is happy that Tails has matured into a young man in his absence...but it's still not enough.
Then, at the end of the issue, comes the girl whose native Zone was destroyed by the Ultimate Annihilator: Mina the Mongoose.
Knuckles the Echidna #39
A Strange Visitor
Knuckles is throwing Enerjak through every single trap within the Hidden Palace that he can muster. But the mighty leader of the Dark Legion is too powerful to be put down for good, and the confrontation finally ends up at the heart of the Hidden Palace, where the Master Emerald.
Astonishingly, an unknown person is there, watching the Master Emerald. It is a mammoth who has a Chaos Emerald embedded in his chest...and then, he seemingly joins Knuckles in battle, charging at Enerjak with a blade known as the Sword of Acorns! Behold the debut of Mammoth Mogul!
Sonic Super Special
Mobotropolis
Sally is overseeing the reconstruction of Mobotropolis, and in the aftermath of her disastrous date with Sonic, she delegates a number of Freedom Fighters to a number of jobs.
Rotor: Inventing and maintaining construction vehicles to clear away Robotnik's factories and build the old homes and gardens in their place.
Tails: Clearing out any SWATbots and COMbots that remain in hiding, while subduing Robians before they can be deroboticized.
Bunnie: Demolition. Nuff said.
Antoine: Working with his deroboticized father - General D'Coolette - in training the newly reborn Mobian Militia, in which Geoffrey St. John and Hershey have been reassigned to assist in combat training. The MM's duty is to protect Mobotropolis!
Sally, meanwhile, is investigating a hidden lair underneath what was once Robotnik's Citadel...the Lost Catacombs, which house the most ancient secrets of the Acorn lineage. Apparently, Robotnik never found it...but as Sally investigates old heirlooms, she discovers that someone HAS been here since Robotnik's takeover...for the ancient weapon of the family, the Sword of Acorns, is missing!
As the super special ends, we see Mammoth Mogul in the Hidden Palace on Angel Island...holding the Sword of Acorns.
Sonic the Hedgehog #68
On the Rebound Part 2 (of 2)
With Sonic feeling a little depressed, it is up to Mina to try to cheer him up. She convinces Sonic to take her to one of his favorite hang outs, like Green Hill and just have a good time, running around and watching the beautiful waterfalls. Things were fine, until GUN agents appears and ruins the little date.
But why do they want to arrest Sonic?
Knuckles the Echidna #40
A Dawn of a Shadow
Knuckles is baffled about this mysterious figure allying him, but also amazed of how he easily destroyed Enerjak with a strange sword. But the being, Mogul earned the trust of the guardian and the echidnas. But Julie-Su doesn't trust him.
Following him, and borrowing a briefcase from one of Mogul's crew he calls: the Destructix, she finds out that Mogul was around when St.John infritrated one of Robotnik's bases. Mogul took data more important than the MEGAbots data. It shows information about a top-secret weapon kept by GUN.
But just as Julie-Su was about to warn Knuckles, she knocked out cold by a surprise attack...an attack thrown by Shadow the Hedgehog.
(Someone new! Hello. Next time, try and introduce characters and organizations in better context. It seems like you're just throwing them in.)
(And by the way, you occasionally mispelled Mogul as 'Mongul'. This ain't Justice League. 😛 )
Sonic the Hedgehog #69
The Overlanders
Sonic and Mina return to Mobotropolis, informing Sally about the Overlander attack. They then recieve a call from Station Square, informing them that the city's special forces unit - GUN - has been ordered to capture a hedgehog that's been scurrying around Station Square...and GUN eventually found Sonic in Green Hill, which borders the city?
Apparently, this hedgehog showed up around the time of Black Doom's last attack on Mobius...
Knuckles the Echidna #41
A Chaotix Rumble
Shadow the Hedgehog: born from one of the parts that Black Doom tore off. The monster had purposefully sent one piece away from Mobotropolis and Knothole to continue the destruction of all life on the planet until he can one day return. And so we find Shadow, preparing to deliver the kill to Julie-Su...and that's when the Chaotix Detective Agency, having been tailing the former Legionnaire out of curiosity, stumbles upon the dark hedgehog! It's Charmy, Espio, and Mighty versus Shadow!
A Haven for Mogul
Although the Guardians seemingly trust Mammoth Mogul, that's only to try and put the mammoth off guard; secretly, they're suspicious of the new being...for they know that the blade he possesses is the Sword of Acorns, and they don't know why he has it. And he also apparently killed Enerjak...and that alone is troublesome.
Their suspicions are confirmed when Mogul suddenly enters Haven with his personal gang, the Destructix: Drago the Wolf, Nack the Weasel (for payment, of course), Monkey Khan, Vector the Crocodile, and Uma Arachnis. However, they are only tools for Mogul...tools to distract the Brotherhood while he frees the rest of the Dark Legion, taking Enerjak's place as their master (and he has no problem showing Enerjak's metallic head as proof...).
His command? Wreak havoc! As for Mogul himself? Well, he's got other plans...for he's already heading towards Station Square in an old airship. What is he scheming?
(And before you all kill me for making Vector a villain...this is like the Ultimate line of Sonic. Some characters are the same, some not...some reinvented. Doesn't mean he'll ALWAYS be a bad guy...)
(Hey dare you do that to Vector! >=O *Reaches into Hammerspace to rip out a multi-missile launcher* Die! >=O *The missiles explode literally into the words 'BANG'*
Just kidding. I still love you, Ultra. =P)
Sonic the Hedgehog #70
Seek and Destroy
In the last issue, Sonic had just barely gotten away from the elite special forces unit, GUN. But his troubles aren't over yet. Sonic inadvertedly led the remainders of the unit back to the reclaimed Mobotropolis, and this time, they're ready for him, calling in for reinforcements.
Now, it is do or die. Sonic must rely on his friends and allies to get him through this, he can't take on all of them by himself. The Chosen One, Tails, is there by Sonic's side. Bunnie and Rotor also come to help their friend. And just as it seems lost, Antoine arrives with the Mobian Militia to dispatch the rest of the GUN unit.
Now, with the fighting out of the way, Sonic wants to know why he was being hunted down. After intense interrogation performed by Geoffrey St. John, the Freedom Fighters learn that there's a hedgehog which looks remarkably like Sonic (at a distance), and he was also involved in the Black Arms incident 50 years ago. They call him 'Shadow'.
Knuckles the Echidna #42
Shadows
Knuckles, the Chaotix, and the Brotherhood regroup and put together their information on the situation thus far. The black hedgehog known as Shadow disappeared after the fight with the Chaotix (and Knuckles), and they recall how he can use Chaos Energy based powers, mainly Chaos Control, which Knuckles recognised. This shocks the Brotherhood, as there are not many people on Mobius who are able to harness the energy of the Chaos Emeralds.
Next, the Brotherhood enlighten Knuckles about Mammoth Mogul. They know next to nothing about him, but they have uncovered documentations on someone years ago in Mobius' past which went by a similar name, and had a lot of influence and power. They also tell of how the Dark Legion have escaped.
Elsewhere, Shadow is reflecting upon his thoughts. The red echidna displayed almost similar powers to him, and he had been bested and out-numbered in his last fight. Next time, the red echidna, Knuckles, will be his!
Meanwhile, Kragok and Lien-Da are talking amongst each other at the while onboard the airship which is heading for Station Square. If what Mammoth Mogul had said was true, and he killed their grandfather, then vengeance shall belong to them! They are only the handful of Legionnaires who have stayed with Mogul, as others are preparing an assault on Angel Island, to cause as much mayhem as possible. That should be enough of a distraction to draw the allies of Angel Island.
As for the Destructix, they are right by their boss, Mammoth Mogul, and wait patiently (impatiently for some), to reach Station Square.
(Uh...50 years ago? I said in my last post that Shadow was born from one of the parts Black Doom tore off of himself in issue #65. That's not 50 years ago. oo )
Sonic the Hedgehog #71
Arrangements For War
Station Square is worried by the attacks by Shadow and the mysterious airship hovering in their airspace - so when Mobotropolis' forces take down a GUN unit, the Overlanders assume the Kingdom of Acorn have joined with the enemy! As GUN's Scorpion Division air-mechs head to bring down Mogul's carrier, Special Operative Rouge has entered Mobotropolis with intent to assassinate Sally and all of her high command! Sonic would help, but he's got some problems of his own, and they take the form of Shadow.
The latest Shadow, anyway. He's not the first one that Black Doom has created, and there's an abandoned satellite lab orbiting Mobius with a room full of Shadows... and ten tons of rampaging, indestructible Biolizard. And now it has Snively, who is awakening them all on orders from Mammoth Mogul.
The villains are uniting...
Knuckles the Echidna #43
Island Burning
The Dark Legion are attacking in force, and Echidnapolis is being torn apart! It's taking everything Knuckles, the Chaotix, the EST and the Brotherhood have to hold the enemy back - and with Knothole & Station Square otherwise engaged and other nation-states on Mobius reporting odd villain attacks, it seems Angel Island is on its own.
As guerilla warfare rages and the Legionnaires are bravely held back, our heroes realise that Mammoth Mogul is attempting dominance of Mobius like he had before and that they're outmatched. Luckily, the Brotherhood has a spy in the Destructix - Vector. Unluckily, Mogul knows.
And if things couldn't get any worse, Mighty has just been badly wounded...
(Hmm...with the last post, we can make use of the 50 years bit.)
Sonic the Hedgehog #72
Master Mogul Part 1 (of 7)
The arc leading to Sonic's 75th issue is now underway, as Mammoth Mogul is beginning his newest bid to conquer Mobius! The airship annihilates the Scorpion Division's units, and Mogul issues a broadcast to all of Mobius. He is Mammoth Mogul, an immortal being whose been alive for thousands of years...and with Robotnik gone and Ixis Naugus exiled in Mobius' far future, it was a prime time for him to take over. So he stole the Sword of Acorns - a blade that can channel raw Chaos energy - and sought to destroy the Brotherhood before beginning his conquest of Mobius!
At Mogul's command, from the satellite in space - a former Overlander weapons development facility built during the Great War (long before Robotnik joined the Mobians) - Snively sends down two gigantic pods. Within are the Shadows - imprisoned by the Overlanders during a Black Doom invasion 50 years ago - and the Biolizard, a genetically engineered being designed to combat the Mobians...but couldn't be controlled...
The pod with the Shadows lands in Station Square. The pod with the Biolizard lands in Mobotropolis.
Elsewhere, Sonic is fighting the newest Shadow. And Tails is fighting Rouge to keep her from assassinating Sally.
Absolute havoc. Thus begins Mogul's plan to return to power, in a seven-part story spanning both comics...culminating in Sonic's 75th issue!
Knuckles the Echidna #44
Master Mogul Part 2 (of 7)
Mogul lands his airship in Station Square, leading the Destructix and the small contingent of Dark Legionnaires into the city, which is in turmoil as GUN fights the army of Shadows. But before Mogul can attend his 'meeting' inside a secret underground GUN base, he orders Monkey Khan and Nack the Weasel to make an example of Vector, the Brotherhood's mole.
Meanwhile, back on Angel Island, Knuckles tears into the Dark Legionnaires with a new rage, angered by Mighty's injury. As he begins his attack, Julie-Su finally reawakens to the sounds of battle. Unfortunately, she's surrounded on all sides by angry Legionnaires, who are enraged by her betrayal!
Meanwhile, the Brotherhood are shocked as Athair suddenly appears before them, speaking on behalf of the Ancient Walkers. He reveals that Mogul is after an ancient relic that he once used to rule Mobius: a battle-suit constructed by an evil Ancient Walker in the past...and it requires tremendous Chaos energy to power it!
Mogul has a Chaos Emerald...but since the battle suit's been in hibernation for so long, it needs more...thankfully, Mogul just happens to have a blade that can transfer raw Chaos energy.
Sonic the Hedgehog #73
Master Mogul Part 3 (of 7)
Station Square has fallen, and with Sally, Tails and all of high command occupied fighting off Rouge during Biolizard's attack, so has Mobotropolis! Sonic can fight off Shadow, but Mogul's ultimate plan is a bit beyond him. He needs to get a spare Chaos Emerald from Knothole if he's to have any chance of victory - but he better hurry, because Snively is leading a squadron of Eggrobos to firebomb Knothole to ashes!
Luckily for all concerned, Angel Island has fought off the Dark Legion - unfortunately, their defences are shattered and they're helpless against Mogul's oncoming army of Swatbots. Worse, Mighty's wounds have proven fatal. How can Knuckles save the day against these odds? Well, that's what Locke has been planning for since before Knuckles was born...
Knuckles the Echidna #45
Master Mogul Part 4 (of 7)
Knothole is no more, but Super Sonic is back and Snively & his Eggrobos have been trounced! Now he and Tails, with help from Knuckles, who is driven by grief and anger at the loss of his friend Mighty, they're off to kick Mogul's butt! Which is going to be easier said than done, because Mogul just activated his almighty Giant Borg war-armour!
Luckily, Locke and Athair have planned for this. Based on murky prophecies and visions from before Knuckles' egg was laid, they engineered him while he was still an egg to one day act as a living Chaos Emerald, so he could avert apocalypse. As Super Sonic & Turbo Tails fight against Mammoth Mogul and find themselves losing, it seems it's time for Knuckles to step up, and without knowing why & how he manages to drain out all of Mammoth Mogul's Chaos energy through the Sword of Acorns!
Unfortunately, all that energy has to go into Knuckles. Who can't control it. And after the explosion and after Mammoth Mogul collapses as a dessicated husk, Knuckles emerges glowing bright green with all the energy within him... and he calls himself the new Enerjak!
Sonic the Hedgehog #74
Master Mogul Part 5 (of 7)
Knothole, Mobotropolis, Station Square, and Angel Island are in ruins. The Biolizard is now stampeding across Mobius, attacking everything in its path, and the army of Shadows is busy prepping Station Square for whenever Black Doom decides to return! Mammoth Mogul is barely alive, a mere shell of his former self...and Knuckles, overwhelmed by the massive Chaos energy flowing within him, has called himself the reincarnation of Enerjak.
Super Sonic and Turbo Tails continue the fight against Enerjak-Knuckles, who is unleashing tremendous amounts of Chaos energy. They can't hope to win unless something crazy happens.
That 'something crazy' happens when Shadow Chaos Controls into the midst of the fight, taking on Knuckles as well! The trio of Super Sonic, Turbo Tails, and Shadow is, astonishingly, beating back Enerjak-Knuckles...but it's still not enough. Even beating him into the ground isn't killing him. He's too strong.
But as the issue ends, with Enerjak-Knuckles back on the ground...he is touched by the Sword of Acorns, held by a barely-standing Mammoth Mogul. He has one thing to say:
"Not exactly as I planned...but this will do."
He promptly absorbs all of the Chaos energy from within Enerjak-Knuckles.
Knuckles the Echidna #46
Master Mogul Part 6 (of 7)]
Mammoth Mogul is now Master Mogul, having absorbed all of the Chaos energy within Knuckles! The difference is, with over multiple millenia of experience under his belt, he can control it!
Meanwhile, on Angel Island, Athair explains that the Ancient Walkers originally warned them about the Giant Borg, but now with Master Mogul out and wreaking havoc, the Ancient Walkers now have only one last resort to combating the menace. So they sacrfice themselves, turning into raw spiritual energy, which Athair channels into the body of Tails, the Chosen One.
On Mobius, Tails suddenly explodes (figuratively speaking, mind you) in a rush of power, absorbing the energy of the Ancient Walkers...becoming Titan Tails. It's up to the two-tailed fox to save the day!
The battle wears on...and as Titan Tails and Master Mogul clash one last time...they - and all of Mobius - are blanketed by sheer white light, a result of all that energy clashing together...
To be concluded in Sonic #75!
(*Eye twitch at mental image of Titan Tails.* >_o THANKS, Ultra. I almost had that hideous story out of my head.)
Sonic the Hedgehog #75
Master Mogul, Part 7 (of 7)
Sonic's 75th issue, and the end of the Master Mogul story arc! The white light fades, Tails is back in his normal form, and laying bruised and battered on the ground, and Mammoth Mogul stands over him, the victor. As he lifts up his foot to squash the defeat twin-tailed fox, he is stopped. Below, holding up his foot, is a hedgehog, glowing rather bright. It's the return of Hyper Sonic!
Determined to save his friend, Sonic utilizes the powers of the Sword of Acorns, to absorb the Chaos Energy residual which has been left in the air by the battle with Tails and Mogul, and has transformed himself into his heightend state. Hyper Sonic begins to let loose on Master Mogul.
The climatic battle finishes, with Mogul's Giant Borg being destroyed by a punishing blow from Sonic. Mogul, drained of his energy, reverts back into his normal form. Now, there's only one obstacle left:
Shadow.
Shadow the Hedgehog has different plans, and uses the Chaos Control technique to steal the Sword of Acorns off of Hyper Sonic, who has just used the last of his energy, and make a clean get away.
Sonic passes out from exhaustion. When he awakes, he's back at a rebuilding Knothole Village, with Sally by his bedside. He lets out a sigh of relief. "Maybe things can start getting back to normal... Well, as normal as they can be."
And with that, the story arc to Master Mogul closes. His plan has failed, and things are set to be recovering from the attacks. But the Shadows at Station Square have yet to be dealt with.
As the issue finishes, walking alone what appears to be a beach on Angel Island, is a blue hedgehog much akin to Sonic, wearing shades, leather gloves and boots, and a leather jacket with flames on it. Anti-Sonic has returned, and he's not roboticized!
Knuckles the Echidna #47
Licking the wounds
All of Angel Island has been making a recovery from the Dark Legion attack. Knuckles is under observation in the Brotherhood's infirmary. The Chaotix are mourning the loss of their friend, Mighty the Armadillo. Angel Island's population is rebuilding what they lost to the Dark Legion, but they still face problems, with Remington leading a clean-up crew to dispose of any remainders of the Dark Legion.
Meanwhile, the Dark Legion haven't lost yet. They retreated back to their lair when it looked as if they were losing, and they have Julie-Su with them. Kragok and Lien-Da have been making sure Julie-Su's captivity has been a living hell. Kragok alone consults Dr. Finitevus of what the Dark Legion should do next. He advises to sit back and wait.
Guess who's back
Where the Master Emerald is being kept, guarded by joint efforts of Chaos and the Brotherhood, surveillance tapes have shown a blue hedgehog, looking like a biker, make his way towards the Master Emerald, without Chaos ever noticing. The hedgehog stands atop the ME, and places his hands upon it. There's a flash of green light, blinding the screen, and a green hedgehog stands where the blue one once was. Chaos now knows that there's an intruder, and begins to attack the hedgehog, but is disposed of easily.
As the hedgehog leaves, he turns to face the surveillance camera, grins, and disappears in a flash of Chaos Control. Anti-Sonic is back, and determined to make an impact!
(Well, I actually never saw that issue. I was just going for some kind of super warrior thing there...maybe to Turbo Tails what Hyper Sonic was to Super Sonic.)
Sonic the Hedgehog #76
A Lean, Mean, and Green Hedgehog Machine
As things seems to finally cooled off, things now are already starting to heat up.
A lot of problems have fallen on Sally's plate. Besides, leading the clean up crew to rebuild Mobotropolis and Knothole, using what's left of Robotnik's computers, she and Rotor still can't find traces of Shadow and the Sword of Acorns he stole. Also, one of the citizens, a young rabbit named Cream, said to had been attacked by a person in a hood, which has to be a Dark Legion.
Meanwhile, Sonic runs around the Great Forest to gather his thoughts after the Mogul invasion. But once again, he runs into Mina, and is about to have another nice chat...
...until a hedgehog appears out of nowhere and attacks Sonic. It's Anti-Sonic, and he's alive, but his look is different now. He has green quills, and a scar on his belly given to him by Chaos.
He now calls himself Scourge.
Though Sonic wonders why Scourge is mad at him, after he sacraficed himself to destroy the Death Egg, Sonic went on the attack, while warning Mina to run to Knothole and get help. The bout proved to be difficult, for Scourge now has the ablity to absorb Chaos Energy from the planet.
Meanwhile, Mina heads for Knothole, a little miffed that she couldn't be alone with Sonic...again. But suddenly, she found a group of black coats (the Dark Legion) getting thrashed by someone who can throw fire.
After the fleed, Mina instantly recoqnized the person and the strange jewels she's gathering...
...Blaze the Cat, ruler of Mina's old world, and guardian of the Sol Emeralds she now has.
After using the power of the emeralds to open a portl, Blaze pulls Mina with her in, without caring that Mina needs help for Sonic, saying that she has found a way to bring their old zone back.
Knuckles the Echidna #48
The Mystery of The Seven
Knuckles is still in the infirmary, while the Brotherhood are trying to find out about the green hedgehog who broke into the ME chamber. Luckily, the green hedgehog left a clue...a DL badge, which means that he works for the Dark Legion.
Remington has gather what's left of the Chaotix to help search for the DL, Julie-Su, and the green hedgehog, Scourge. With Mighty gone, he has introduced them to a new member...
...Vector the Croc, who seem to have surived Nack, and Monkey Khan's wrath. But will the Chaotix accept this croc as a replacement for Mighty?
Meanwhile, Dr. Finitevus observes Sonic and Scourge's battle from one of his monitors. After Kragok and Lien-Da wonders why he's so interested, the doctor explains that his main plan involves a prophecy called: The Seven.
Not going into full detail, he explains he is looking for these seven to help further his plan, and he already found six:
Sally, Amy, Shadow, Knuckles, Tails, and of course: Sonic.
However, he is unable to find the seventh. He had men check for people he had chosen, like Rouge, and a Mobotropolis citizen named Cream. But none of them, not even his prisoner, Julie-Su, or his new lackey, Scourge, fit the bill.
That leaves two suitible people.
While his men went to find Blaze, who also wasn't the one, Finitevus senses may have found hope for the yellow mongoose that Blaze is with, because it seems Blaze is going to use the prophecy to revive her world.
Number two happens to be a very evil man who have once ruled the planet with his robots. But he's dead.
"Well, Scourge was a challenge to clone...but then again, I love challenges."
Sonic the Hedgehog #77
Trust No-One
The battle with Scourge has gone very wrong, and Sonic has been captured! Now he finds himself in a secret Legion outpost in Downunda, where Finitevus has already managed to capture Amy and Shadow! But why? What does he plan to do with the Prophecy of Seven? Why is it so important that he's creating a clone of Robotnik?
And why, when the Legion aren't watching, does he report directly to Black Doom?
Sonic doesn't know, but he wants to find out - and he ducked the fight with Scourge earlier to do just that! A healthy, undefeated Sonic is not something his cell was meant to contain, and he's able to escape with Amy (while Shadow, being in on the prophecy, stays put)! Now it's time to find the answers.
And Mina may have some, but she's in no position to give them - because Blaze has pressganged her into helping her infiltrate Finivetus' base so Blaze can let him do all the work and then take over & use the Prophecy to return her Zone. And that means she doesn't want Sonic & Amy free!
Knuckles the Echidna #49
Childhood's End
Knuckles is not happy. He's not happy that Julie-Su remains in the hands of the Dark Legion. He's not happy that the Brotherhood can't be bothered to help him find her. He's not happy the Legion still exist. And he's certainly not happy that his own father monkeyed with his genetics to the point where he nearly became the new Enerjak.
So he's quitting the Brotherhood and everything involved with them, refusing to have anything more to do with them ever. And he's going after Julie-Su.
Which is extremely bad news for Lien-Da, because after Knuckles has beaten his way through as many Legionnaires as it takes, he's smashing his way into the Dark Legion's HQ and he's willing to take on anyone who stops him rescuing his friend!
To be concluded in Knuckles #50!
Sonic the Hedgehog #78
Friend or Foe?
Dr. Finivetus intends to clone Dr. Robotnik to fulfill the prophecy. And what exactly does this prophecy entail?
According to him, it would utilize the unique genetic structure of each participant to create a powerful energy source with which reality itself can be altered.
However, the REAL truth is that this whole 'prophecy' is a sham, and it is all just a way to sacrifice the raw life energy to Black Doom, with Shadow serving as the channeler for the energy to his creator. With the raw life energy of such powerful people, Black Doom's foothold on Mobius will be absolute...and in return, Finivetus can do whatever he wants.
However, Sonic and Tails have no intention of going down quietly...and yet they're attacked on all sides by Shadow, Scourge, Blaze, and the Dark Legion! Who to fight? Who to strike? Who will WIN?
The answer comes when, just before they clone Dr. Ivo Robotnik...Knuckles storms in.
Knuckles the Echdina #50
Do NOT Step Between a Guardian and his Girlfriend
Knuckles storms the hideout where Finivetus, Kragok, and Lien-Da have taken Julie-Su. He steps into the brawl already going, pummelling anyone who gets in his path. He's dead-set on rescuing Julie-Su, and it doesn't matter what gets in his path.
Unfortunately, there's one unforseen obstacle.
The Biolizard. Having been left unchecked since the Master Mogul arc, the genetically engineered weapon stumbles upon the Dark Legion base...and then begins unleashing holy heck upon everyone there!
Knuckles doesn't care though. After giving Lien-Da and Kragok what-for, he takes the injured Julie-Su and escapes, leaving Sonic and the others to fend off the Biolizard alone. He just doesn't care...not when Julie-Su's been hurt.
The issue ends on Angel Island, in an Echidnapolis hospital. Julie-Su is unconscious, and Knuckles is sitting right by her side, holding her hand tightly.
She awakens as the issue ends...with just enough of a panel left over for one kiss.
Sonic the Hedgehog #79
They never stay down.
Even though its understandable, Sonic still can't believe Knuckles just left him with this destructive BioLizard. Blaze can't believe that the whole prophecy was a fake, and he just let Mina right to Finivetus' hands, who found out the Mina is the right one for the final sacrifice.
With no choice, Sonic and Blaze, and Tails, works together to bring the science freak, BioLizard, down.
Meanwhile, back on Mobotropolis, Bunnie and Antoine warns Sally that they still haven't found Sonic and the others. But suddenly, Scourge appears in a flash, brought down Bunnie and Antoine, takes Sally, and disappears. And it only happened under ten seconds.
Back on the damaged DL base, Sonic, Tails, and Blaze just defeated BioLizard, and they head off after Finivetus, who is at Sandpolis.
Thanks to the Sol Emeralds, Sonic, Tails, and Blaze arrives at Sandpolis, right in front of a Egyptian temple, where Finivetus is hiding. The three hurries through the halls, avoiding every trap thrown at them. But just when things look okay, they fall into two trap doors. One led Blaze in a room where Kragok, Lien-Da, and a Dark Legion army awaits, and the other led Sonic and Tails in the sacrifice chamber.
They found Amy, Sally, and Mina stuck in a energy field in separate circles. But suddenly, two empty circles pulled Sonic and Tails towards them, shock them to unconsciousness.
The stage was almost set, as Finivetus, Scourge, and Shadow emerge from the shade. Now they need only one subject.
Back in the old DL base, a mysterious figure opens a cloning tank, and out comes the greatest evil that hell ever spawned.
"Daddy's home."
Knuckles the Echidna #51
I am the Eggman...
In the halls of the Echidnapolis hospital, Knuckles waits awhile to hear word on Julie-Su's condition. Just then, the Choatix joins him, and Knuckles got to meet the new member, Vector. Apparently, they're still trying to get use to him, especially Espio who isn't quite fond of him.
But then, Knuckles got another visitor...Finivetus, who appears through a giant warp ring. The new DL leader proves that he isn't a wimp, as he somehow has the ability to manipulate power rings, of all things, and Knuckles and the Chaotix can't touch him when he keeps using the rings to teleport everywhere.
With the Chaotix down, Finivietus gives Knuckles a deal. Either he surrenders or Finivetus will use the power of the rings to destroy the hospital with all the sick people in it. Knowing that he'll do it if he takes one little step, Knuckles surrenders...
...and Scourge comes from behind, and knocks Knux unconscious. With that, Scourge and Finivetus takes Knuckles and leave.
Knuckles awakens, finding himself numb in some energy field. He finds Sonic, Tails, Sally, Amy, and Mina also finding themselves in the same situation. It seems that they're stuck in some kind of ancient temple, stuck in a circle format, with only two empty circles waiting for the last two. With Shadow, Finivetus, and Scourge there, they explain that this temple also have Black Arms technology. Sure, the Seven prophecy is a bit of a sham, some of it still is true, like only suitable people are chosen, by Black Doom, because of their great power, like Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails, and hidden potential, like Sally, Amy, and Mina. And with Shadow as the rod to lead their energy to Black Doom, the monster will be unstoppable. Now that Knuckles is here, Shadow will use their life energy to transfer it to Black Doom.
But just as they were about to start, a figure blast through a wall...a woman with large shades, and some kind of silver jumpsuit. Finivetus recognize her ... M. She's a android, created by Robotnik to carry his DNA data incase anything happened to him, which is who the DL leader got Robotnik's sample from.
And with her is a has a voice that shocks Sonic, Tails, Sally, Knuckles, and Amy to near death...the evil Dr. Robotnik...
...almost...
Apparently, because of BioLizard's wreckage, it ruined the cloning generator, causing Robotnik's body to be altered from the original. Sure he has a snazzy red general suit and he doesn't have a robotic arm, but his body almost is shaped like an egg. Plus, his mustache is bigger than ever, and his dome-shaped head is smaller, and he has tall, skinny legs.
With this, the trapped gang, minus Mina who never seen Robotnik, laughs like never before. Sonic even gave Robotnik a new nickname that angers the evil doctor...Eggman.
Despite Robot...er, Eggman's intrusion, Finivetus began the sacrifice anyways.
Back in the other room, as Blaze battles the DL, the power of the Sol Emeralds helped her feel the soul of Mina's pain. Knowing that lives need to be saved, Blaze's emeralds starts pouring power into her, transforming her to her ultimate form that not even the DL army can withstand.
As the sacrifice went on, something went wrong. Instead of the energy shooting towards the sky, it transfers...into Eggman. Before they crashed through here, M reprogrammed the system, adding some of Eggman's DNA, so the energy will be directed to him.
Now Eggman is more powerful than ever, and Finivetus and Scourge are powerless to stop him, and the heroes, and Shadow, are still being drain of power. But that's not all. Eggman has Scourge's ability, allowing him to drain the planet of its Chaos Energy, giving him more power. Not only our heroes are being drained, so is the planet.
Despite his goofy look, Dr. Robotnik is still evil, and he still has the master plan.
Sonic the Hedgehog #80
Doomsday!
All of Mobius and every living thing on it is being drained of all life! The only being unaffected is Black Doom, and he lacks the firepower to take on this new, all-powerful Robotnik! There's only one option left - get to the Sol Emeralds and try & reverse the power Eggman has gained. Sonic's going to have to crawl, getting steadily weaker and weaker until he's near death, to get to the Emeralds while Eggman taunts him...
...but he manages it, and everything is reversed. Robotnik now finds himself facing a rejuvenated force of all his enemies, and beats a hasty retreat. Sonic and the gang quickly take down the beaten Dark Legion and their leaders. But with Robotnik alive once more and all hope gone for Blaze, that doesn't seem like much of a victory...
Knuckles the Echidna #52
Teenage Wasteland Part 1 (of 3)
He's cut all ties with the Brotherhood, the Dark Legion's leaders and half its men have been captured, his girl has been rescued, and all is right on Angel Island! So what's Knuckles going to do now? In truth, he doesn't know. So he does what any teen would do - go out clubbing with Julie-Su, and try to find something interesting in normal life.
Sonic the Hedgehog #81
Run, Mobians, Run!
Robotnik is back as Dr. Eggman, and he's ready to begin his reign of terror. First thing's first: he must regain his base of operations...so that means taking over Mobotropolis!
Sonic is just ticked off to no end. After all the crud he's been through, now Robotnik is BACK?! He has no time to rue his seemingly-endless nightmare, as he has to help evacuate everyone to Knothole; Eggman's already got the factories churning out SWATbots and COMbots, along with a new model of machine: Shadowbots!
In Knothole, Sally goes over the damage report and is worried; with the recent attacks by Mammoth Mogul, the Biolizard, Black Doom, Finivetus, Scourge, and now Eggman, she's worried the Freedom Fighters might be too tired to successfully fight against Eggman's assaults...at least, for a little while. So she commissions Rotor and Tails to help build a shield defense system for Knothole...
Meanwhile, Sonic is busy talking with Mina - who's become an easy person to talk to since she arrived on Mobius-1 - about how crummy life's become, all while Blaze is eavesdropping, wondering how she can fit in and help these people in need.
And the Knothole Jail has new inmates...inmates in specially-designed holding cells for their powers: Scourge, Dr. Finivetus, and Shadow.
Knuckles the Echidna #53
Teenage Wasteland Part 2 (of 3)
A simple life. That's what Knuckles is experimenting with...and he takes it seriously, especially after his dedication in working hard at the nearest burger joint (much to Julie-Su's delight at the humorous sight).
But in the background lurk Kragok and Lien-Da - both having escaped in the aftermath of issue 80 - and they're mad that Julie-Su has fully defected from the Dark Legion...so they decide to teach her one last lesson...and they wait until Knuckles and Julie-Su hit the nearest dance club to enact it. What is their plan?
Oddly...it's something you'd never suspect...because it's really, REALLY odd.

Sally is updating Nicole's databanks in the after math of issue 81, trying to keep up-to date on all of the villains the Freedom Fighters have faced...
Dr. Robotnik: Thought to have died in the aftermath of the Robo-Sonic incident, but now improperly cloned into a being called Dr. Eggman. Eggman has retaken Mobotropolis and forced the Mobians back into Knothole.
Enerjak: Former leader of the Dark Legion named Dimitri; killed by Mammoth Mogul. Knuckles briefly called himself Enerjak when he was overloaded by Chaos energy, but the effect was temporary.
Dark Legion: Technology-worshipping group of echidnas that is left in tatters after the death of Dimitri and their losses during Mogul's takeover bid. Former second-in-command Julie-Su is now with Knuckles, leaving Kragok and Lien-Da as the leaders of the group. Their whereabouts are currently unknown.
Scourge: Formerly Anti-Sonic. Thought to have died during the Crisis as Mecha Sonic. Was cloned by Dr. Finivetus, and is capable of channeling Chaos energy into a teleportation technique called Chaos Control. He constantly shifts in his alliances, and is currently imprisoned in a special Knothole prison.
Black Doom: An alien entity that has tried to take over Mobius multiple times with his Black Arms army, but has failed each time. His recent plan to absorb the raw life energy of Mobius' most powerful people - a plan in which he allied himself with Finivetus - has also met with failure. He has retreated for the time being.
Shadow: A black hedgehog created from Black Doom. Is only one of many. One Shadow - the newest Shadow - is imprisoned inside special Knothole prison cell, while the rest are still running amok Station Square.
Biolizard: A living weapon genetically engineered during the Great War by the Overlanders. Cannot be controlled. Kills any and all Mobians it sees. It was recently subdued by Sonic, Tails, and Blaze, but its corpse has disappeared.
Dr. Finivetus: A former Echidnapolis crime lord. He worked for the Dark Legion recently, secretly allied with Black Doom. Is imprisoned in Knothole Jail.
Metal Robotnik: Alternate Robotnik from Mobius-371. Created Metal Sonic, and was instrumental in the Crisis. Was betrayed by Dr. Robotnik and destroyed.
Metal Sonic: Metallic version of Sonic, powered by the Source. Was destroyed in battle.
Mammoth Mogul: An powerful being who has lived for millenia with the power of the Chaos Emerald embedded in his chest. Has taken over the world before, only to eventually fall. His recent plan - using the Giant Borg, and then absorbing Knuckles' Chaos energy to become Master Mogul - has failed. His whereabouts are unknown.
Ixis Naugus: A powerful sorceror who's sworn revenge on Dr. Robotnik for being banished to the Negative Zone. Was sent to the future with Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Chaos at one point. Is still in exile in the future, imprisoned at a facility specifically designed for powerful people.
Chaos: A water god who was the original Guardian of the Master Emerald. Has no alliances; it only seeks to protect the Master Emerald and the Chao. Is currently inside the Master Emerald, resting after being attacked by Scourge.
Blaze: This strange princess from another planet possesses seven alternate versions of the Chaos Emeralds called Sol Emeralds, and she can teleport over long distances with them. Her 'friend-or-foe' status is unknown as of now. She once allied with Finivetus, but that might have been a ploy. She is to be watched, just in case...
GUN: The special military force of Station Square. Once attacked Sonic, but that was a misunderstanding due to Shadow. Is currently preoccupied with the army of Shadows in Station Square. Note to send help later, as an alliance with the Overlanders could prove useful...
Snively: Robotnik's nephew. Constantly switches alliances. Very untrustworthy, if meek, person. Has been missing since the aftermath of the Master Mogul incident, where he was allied with the mammoth.
That is all for now...
Sonic the Hedgehog #82
None But The Brave Part 1 (of 3)
Station Square has just finished taking down the Shadows, only to find Robotnik back and invading Mobotropolis! Let the dictator of Mobius regain planetary domination? Heck no! Special Operative Rouge and the forces of GUN are launching an attack on Mobotropolis to force Robotnik back, and they're being joined by Mercia, Downunda, and every other nation-state & gang on Mobius!
The people of Mobius will not be conquered again - and now Knothole has a fighting chance. Now Sonic finds himself as the icon and rallying point for the Mobian forces, and out to lead a special forces mission behind enemy lines... with Mina, unwilling to let Sonic go off without her watching his back, secretly following!
Knuckles the Echidna #54
Teenage Wasteland Part 3 (of 3)
Julie-Su thought she knew Lien-Da quite well. She knows her even better now her mind was been placed in Lien-Da's body and vice versa! Can she escape the pursuit of the EST? Will Knuckles realise that 'Julie-Su' isn't what she appears? Well, he might not be able to work it out, but the Chaotix certainly can! With the scheme blown wide open, Julie-Su is returned to her proper body in time and Lien-Da is captured - but Julie & Knuckles' relationship has taken a hard knock over the fact he didn't realise who she really was...
(Darn. I was hoping you'd make it into like a dance-off between Knuckles/Julie-Su and Kragok/Lien-Da. 😛 )
(New rule. Much like the Elimination Game in the SPA, post 'call', then edit in. This way, people won't post while you're writing something...because nobody likes to waste ten minutes.)
Hey hey! Ultra said to give a warning if you wanna put up a story. Well, I'm next.
By the way, I wish that dance thing would've happened. This project really needs some serious humor.
(It would help if you edit within the first half hour.)
(Once you call a post, you have a half hour to write what you want to write. And since it's been a few hours antyep...someone else can go.)
Sonic the Hedgehog #83
None But The Brave, Part 2 of 3
Inside the re-christened Robotropolis, Eggman, as he is now known as, has set himself up for defense, positioning SWATbots, COMbots and Eggspawns on the front lines of the city. He has even resorted to using his old Badniks in this fight which he has salvaged. Deeper in the city itself, however, are lurking COMbot-X's, and SHADOWbots, at Robotnik's key strategic defensive points. Within the main chamber is the Eggman himself, guarded by a platoon of COMbot-X's and SHADOWbots, and accompanied by his two new liutenants, a young woman whom he calls M, and a sentient AI called A.D.A.M., and even a rebuilt Metal Sonic & Metal Knuckles. This time, Eggman was prepared for rodents! Without a doubt, lives are going to be lost, in this large-scale conflict.
Meanwhile, the Special Ops group, consisting of Sonic, Geoffrey St. John, Hershey Cat, Rouge the Bat, and a few others, are sneaking through the underground of Robotropolis, being led by the green 'hog, Manic, who knows his way around. Mina accidently makes her presence known to the group, but it's too late to turn back now, as they can hear the conflict waging above their heads on the city streets. They must continue their way through the sewers, breaking through Eggman's defenses, and reach Eggman's main stronghold.
Biding My Time
High above the planet Mobius, on a space station orbiting the planet, a lone figure is standing at a control panel, looking at various monitors. One of the screens flicker brightly, lighting up the room, and showing that it's Snively standing there.
Mammoth Mogul's plan has failed.
Dr. Finitevus' plan has failed.
The Shadow clones he sent down to the planet have failed.
And now, Dr. Robotnik was back, and being attacked by pretty much everyone, except save for a few, like the Cat People, and the Echidnas, or the Dingos. But, that was besides the point.
Robotnik, too, was failing.
A grin formed on Snively's lips, and he laughed, his voice echoing down the halls. On one of the screen's in front of him, was a numerical figure of the Shadow clones still aboard the space station. There was plenty.
Soon. Oh, so very soon. When the time was right, and everyone's guard was down, he would strike. But, he'd need some sub-ordinates of his own, and he'd know who to turn to. On a different monitor showed to figures. A wolf and a dingo. (Sleet and Dingo, from Sonic Underground, for those who don't know) They'd make the perfect underlings for a new ruler like him. The issue would close with him laughing again.
Knuckles the Echidna #55
Man, I need a Break.
Knuckles, with no one to turn to anymore, leaves Echidnapolis, and goes to live out in the wilderness, where we can be alone and cut off from the rest of the world?
But what happens when the rest of the world doesn't want to be cut off from him? Julie-Su tries to find him, but is dejected. Even the Chaotix come to talk to their friend, but are pushed aside. Lastly, Knuckels gets a visit from someone he least expected, his father, Locke.
Knuckles and Locke have a father-son talk with each other, one which has been due for years, and Knuckles finally comes to his senses, and welcomes his friends back with open arms. No hard feelings, right?
The Legacy of the Brotherhood
Spectre, being the oldest living Guardian since the death of the others, reflects upon the lineage of guardians, starting from the very first Guardian of their line, to the latest one, Knuckles.
This story reveals how some of the un-mentioned Guardians of Knuckles' family have lived and died, all to protect the Master Emerald.
(Sorry guys. I was forced to do some things.)
Sonic the Hedgehog #84
None But The Brave Part 3 (of 3)
While he was...away, his android daughter, M, not only rebuilt his robot army underground, she also created giant generators, and placed them everywhere, in the soils of Mobius. With a push of a button, the generators will sprout out of the ground, and at the same time, they'll unleash a energy that'll robotizice the entire planet.
This was all Rouge heard from her hidden post, as she, Sonic, Hershey, and St. John began to secretly disable the system.
But Eggman was prepared. Along her errands, M also found a Chaos Emerald, and placed it in Metal Sonic to be powered like never before.
With that, and a number of robots, the group was forced to retreat, but Sonic engaged battle against Metal Sonic. He learned the hard way that the robot is more powerful than ever.
But because of their spin attacks, they blew Mina, who was still hiding, in the air and cause her to collided on the two.
Something unexplainable happened. One of Sonic's nightmare just came true...
...he lost his super speed.
Mina pulls Sonic out of the way with sonic speed. Yes, perhaps it is because of Metals emerald, but Mina has Sonic's speed...but the problem is, she can't control it. Though they got out of there, how can they win the war with Mina possessing Sonics speed?
Breakout from Doomsday
From his secret lair, Black Doom watches Mina's pitiful attempt to master Sonic's speed in time. Doom is disappointed that his latest plan fell because of one rotten egg. But he still yearns for The Seven.
Sonic and Knuckles powers are obviously special, and something about Tails allows him to be 'The Chosen One'. But Sally, Amy, and Mina are still a mystery. Amy is said to have psychic powers, and Sally with the Sword of Acorns may unlock her hidden abilities. Mina is a mystery, but her having Sonic's speed might be part of her hidden powers.
Doom will have to deal with these Seven MUCH later. He has lots of other tasks to lead to the Seven, starting with freeing someone who is also a Seven...Shadow.
Easily, Black Arms aliens teleported to the Knothole jail and broke Shadow out of his cell. Finivetus pleas the Black Arms to let him free...but because of his failure, the Black Arms blasts to near death. But Scourge, they were more lenient, for Black Doom may have some use with him.
With that, the evil hedges escaped.
Knuckles the Echidna # 56
Make a wish Part 1 (of 3)
In the sky, Sally flies one of Robotniks pods to Angel Island. With her was newcomer, Blaze, so she can keep an eye on her. Though she has second thoughts about bringing her, especially after Mina told her that Blaze will do anything to get her hands on a powerful item to bring her home back. That means she might go after the ME.
Somewhere outside Echidnapolis, Knuckles finds Sally, and that purple cat he met in Finivetus base. Instead of a friendly hello, Sally was quite mad at Knuckles, since Sonic told her how he just left him without help. But after a hard argument, followed by an apology, Sally went to the Brotherhood base to ask for their help in the war, who refused.
Meanwhile, Knuckles kept an eye on Blaze, as Sally asked him to. After Blaze told him about her great kingdom, and how much pain she endured when it was gone, they noticed something incredible outside the island
a floating temple.
Right on cue, Sally came and told them that its the Babylon Temple, a place built by the Babylon Rogues ancestors. She said that those guys are going there to get something that is supposed to bring Robotnik down for good. Something thatll make your wishes come true.
Hearing that, Blaze used her Sol Emeralds to teleport there, and Knuckles, with Sally on toll, glided after her. But can they stop her in time, before she ruins things?
Sonic the Hedgehog #85
Life In The Slow Lane
Robotropolis is contained, and with Robotnik's plan to roboticise the planet discovered, his worldwide generators are being destroyed by select teams. The war is going well - but Sonic is no longer in it, having lost his speed and everything he feels he could use against Robotnik. All he can do is stay at Knothole, feeling useless.
Right until a mission goes bad and Antoine & Bunnie are shot down and being tracked by Combots. Now, Sonic is arming up and heading out to save his friends, speed or no speed!
Knuckles the Echidna #57
Make a wish Part 2 (of 3)
It was bad enough that Blaze was trying to get to the Babylon Temple. When the Brotherhood go in, led by an armoured Locke, things get far worse! Sally and the Rogues need the power within the Temple to bring down Robotnik, Blaze wants it to bring back her world, and the Brotherhood want it to keep Angel Island safe (and they don't care what happens to the rest of Mobius). Whose side does Knuckles want to take? And if he goes against the Brotherhood, does he want to fight his father?
Well, no, he doesn't, but he's going to do it anyway!
Sonic the Hedgehog #86
Metal Gear Sonic
To save Antoine and Bunnie from the COMbots, Sonic is forced to rely on the training he endured when first becoming a Freedom Fighter...training he hasn't had to utilize in years because of his speed! Can the world's former 'Blue Blur' sneak and shimmy his way past the enemy to rescue his two compadres?
Mina: Fastest Thing Alive!
In Knothole, Mina - due to her inexperience in battle - has had to stay behind. Her only company happens to be Uncle Chuck. And wouldn't you know it: Charles was the one who had to help Sonic adapt to his super-speed as a young child! Now Charles has a new student: Mina!
Knuckles the Echidna #58
Make A Wish Part 3 (of 3)
Knuckles and Locke are engaged in a heated battle, one that neither of them ever expected to partake in! At the same time, Sally and the Rogues are busy battling Blaze; neither side can afford to let the treasure within the temple - the Ancient's Cube - to fall to the opponent's hands!
However, just before Sally, Blaze, and the Brotherhood reached the Ancient's Cube, a recently-escaped convict grabs it.
Scourge.
The green hedgehog grins as he makes his wish.
"I wish for something interesting to happen."
The Ancient's Cube disappears in the blink of an eye.
With such a vaguely-worded wish, anything could happen (considering who Scourge is, that's not surprising: he's a troublemaker through and through).
As it turns out...in the Chrono Zone - Zonic's base of operations - an old tube filled with ruined technology starts to glow. Technology gathered from the Prime Zone and Mobius-1 during the Crisis on Infinite Mobiuses...
The technology reforms into Metal Robotnik.
And he's eager for revenge against Mobius-1's Robotnik. But he needs to do some planning first...
Sonic the Hedgehog #87
Left Behind
Antoine and Bunny have been saved from the COMbots by Sonic, and are recovering in Knothole, and armed with only his Freedom Fighter training. Because of this, when the next major FF mission commences, Sonic is put on the other team, the one consisting of the other FF members. They are Sergeant Simian, Lightning Lynx, Predator Hawk, and Flying Frog. (The Fearsome Foursome! =D I can do this, according to the whole, 'Sonic: Ultimate' type of thing we have going on here, so no hurting me!)
Now, it can be said that Sonic doesn't get along with any of these guys, despite them proving their worth to the cause time and time again, especially in battle, but still, their personalities clash with the core Freedom Fighters, especially Sonic, who's just too hot-headed. Will Sonic be able to put up with these four if he's just to survive a simple mission to Robotropolis and back?
The Princesses' Diaries
Here we take an inside look into the minds of the two princesess, Sally and Blaze, after their return to Knothole from their adventure with Knuckles and the Babylon Rogues.
We find out how their two minds think and react in different situations, and, ultimately, why the two will never be able to get along. Sonic. Sally loves Sonic with all her heart, but is denial about it, and Blaze can't trust the 'hog as far as she can throw him because of past experiences with him.
Knuckles the Echidna #59
Rise of the Dingoes, Part 1 of 2
The Dingoes on Angel Island, had relatively been quiet all of these years, until now. They've sided with other non-majority of the species on Angel Island, and have formed the political activist group Angel Island United (AIU). Most of the members have turned to politics and public protesting to wage their wars, but lately, there have been attacks on the city of Echidnapolis, and other heavily populated areas such as Hydro City and Mushroom Valley, lead by a pack of angry Dingoes, who claim they are part of the AIU. The leader of this pack of Dingoes is a criminal dingo known as Dingo.
Now, it's up to Knuckles, the Chaotix, and the Echidna Security Team to put a stop to all these and quell the chaos.
But, why does Knuckles feels like there is a more sinister plot behind all of these attacks?
A Brother, a Sister, and a Cloak
With the ensuing chaos from the terrorists, Kragok and Lien-Da escape from the holding cells within the Echidnapolis's prison, with a little help from a crazy green hedgehog, who calls himself Scourge. Scourge leaves the two to fend for themselves, and they escape Echidnapolis, and retreat to one of their many Dark Legion hideouts, where waiting for them are other Dark Legion personnel, who had survived and escaped.
Kragok's first priority is to rebuild the Dark Legion, and he will recruit other species as well, if he has to reach that goal. A lot of the Dingo population seem to be willing...
Quote:
The leader of this pack of Dingoes is a criminal dingo known as Dingo.
I don't know why, but that made me smile. X3
Anyhow...
Sonic the Hedgehog #88
Planet Earth Part 1 (of 13)
Sonic is getting really frustrated by the loss of his speed; life is suddenly moving too slow for him, and he feels useless. So when Sally, Rotor, and Charles debate over whether or not to set up an orbital spy satellite, Sonic volunteers to go on the dangerous mission.
Using a modified spaceship used by the Overlanders during the Great War, Sonic goes into space to set up the spy satellite. The job is done with radio assistance from Rotor...but as he gets back into the ship and prepares to head back to Mobius, a meteor shower blasts by, knocking him off course...and the collision causes Sonic to inadvertently activate the ship's warp drive...
Right after Sonic deactivates the spaceship, he crash lands on Mobius...or does he? For when he awakens, he's surrounded by Overlanders.
Sonic has landed on the Overlander's home planet: Earth...beginning the 13-part, year-long epic that culminates in Sonic's landmark 100th issue!
Too Fast!!!
Mina's slowly getting the hang of her speed, but she'll need to master it quickly; in the aftermath of Sonic's sudden departure from Mobius, she'll need to help pull her weight in the battle against Robotnik. So she's assigned a partner to help her in missions: Tails the Two-Tailed Fox!
So what happens when, in her first mission, Mina goes a bit too fast? Answer: unintentional havoc for Robotnik!
Knuckles the Echidna #60
Rise of the Dingoes Part 2 (of 2)
The AIU is trying to distance themselves from the terrorist attacks by the angry Dingoes, in the hopes that their cause won't be damaged. However, it appears that one of the founding members of the activist group has been pulling the strings for the attacks...a Dingo with considerable military experience, who is angered by the return of the Echidnas after so long, and he blames the constant strife by the Dark Legion and the enemies below Mobius on them. He is General Stryker, and he's willing to do whatever it takes to secure a home for his kin. Even fighting Knuckles!
The Dingo Legion?
Stryker, however, is unaware that a number of Dingoes have joined forces with the Dark Legion. Kragok and Lien-Da also show some new recruits that have broken out of prison: one of them is a bruiser named Sleet, who was imprisoned for the crime of manslaughter (apparently, he was too stupid to be charged with murder). Dingo accepts the position of field commander, and the Dark Legion begins new attacks in Echidnapolis! However, they have the EST and the Chaotix to deal with!
Before Dingo can order a full-scale retreat, he and Sleet are teleported away...and the issue ends with Snively looking down on them with wicked smile, asking them if they want to be his new 'employees'.
EDIT: What happened to everyone? Oo
Sonic the Hedgehog #89
Planet Earth Part 2 (of 13)
Sonic has some questions. How did he end up this "planet Earth", and how can he get back home? Why does Earth have the exact same geography and natural ecosystem as Mobius? Why is there a city called San Francisco that is clearly Station Square? How can he break out of the secure government facility he's a "guest" of? Why have there been strange ghost-like shadows appearing in random places and strange communication glitches worldwide ever since he arrived?
And why does everyone insist that he's just supposed to be a video game character?
Direct Action Part 1 (of 2)
Sonic is missing in action, but the Freedom Fighters have to continue the fight regardless - unfortunately for Mina! Their first new mission? Take down Robotnik's supply convoys to assist the siege of Robotropolis!
Knuckles the Echidna #61
Contagion Part 1 (of 2)
General Stryker has turned from violence - i.e. Knuckles beat him up - , but the Echidnapolis government is still under pressure to bring in reforms. And the idea of such big social changes don't sit well with many Echidnas, who are now looking towards charismatic politician (and secret Dark Legionnaire) Benedict to keep things the way they are - and so Angel Island totters on the brink of severe civil unrest and ethnic violence!
Still, Knuckles is used to complex events these day. What he's not used to is Black Doom unleashing a weaponised virus on the island! Can the Guardian stop the villain's plans and help find a cure when even he is infected?
