My express apologies about that; I get overenthusiastic when it comes to this sort of thing. I promise, I'll condense my story ideas from now on.
Sonic the Hedgehog #81
Anti-Climactic, Part 2 of 2
Evil King Max and the disguised King Acorn go head to head with explosive results! King Acorn pits his magic against Evil's technology, creating a deadlock that can only be broken if one of the two gives in! Anti-Knuckles and Evil St. John try to step in on their leader's behalf, but Omega and NICOLE-still linked together from last issue-arrive and manage to fight off the two villains. Evil King Max, unable to stand against the combined force of his counterpart and the Source of All, is defeated and banished to the Zone of Silence. There, he is forced to swear fealty to a villain who's capacity for evil outstrips his own: Dr. Robotnik.
Anti-Knuckles and Evil St. John, bereft of their leader and faced with both Omega/NICOLE and King Acorn, flee the battle at top speed. King Acorn then departs, warning the two A.I.s not to interfere in his battles again. Confused but resigned to fate, the two return to the Knothole Special Forces and the Secret Service. Separating, each goes off with their own team...and a bond that will continue to grow. Unfortunately, the two Anti-Mobians soon find refuge amongst the ever growing army of Dr. Finitevus...
Heavy Metal
Noting the threat posed by Finitevus' forces, A.D.A.M. and E.V.E. decide to step up their efforts to secure Mobius for the Brotherhood of Metallix. A.D.A.M. raids the Spirit Zone and captures the inhabitants, converting them into the power source of a giant robot called Mega Metal Sonic! Meanwhile, E.V.E. uses the Auto-Automatons placed within G.U.N. to oversee the construction of a powerful new mech: Mongroun.
Out in space, another force of mechanized evil marches on: Dark Oak, leader of the Metarex, launches a devastating attack on the planet Wheeet, absorbing its Planet Egg and wounding chief scientist Car-Heem, who flees the planet in his ship. Before he can leave, though, Dark Oak is confronted by Aurora, who attempts to eliminate him only to discover that his power has become equal to her own. Desperate, Aurora destroys the now lifeless planet and flees back to Mobius, fully aware of her failure without even looking back to see Dark Oak emerging from the rubble of Wheeet.
Sonic Super Special #12
Rings of the World, 2 of 5
Aman-Rapi, realizing his mistake in leaving his tomb unguarded, enlists the most powerful allies he can find: Knuckles and Tails. Recruiting the two, the Hedgehog seer warns them of the danger posed by Anti-Sonic coming into possession of the World Rings, and Knuckles and Tails become determined to prevent that from happening. Joining Sonic's ancestor, they sets out to find the next World Ring.
Back in Echidnaopolis, Julie-Su and Lara-Le join forces to take care of the now infant Lara-Su. Unfortunately, their job becomes more complicated with the arrival of Horiont-Al and Verti-Cal, who reveal that they want a new playmate from Mobius who hasn't been robbed of all "fun" because of going through years of fighting. Lara, her mind regressed to baby level, fits the bill perfectly. But just to throw a spoiler into the mix, the two imps warp time: Lara-Le and Lien-Da (the latter in Portal) both find themselves suddenly in the final months of pregnancy, and Julie finds herself face to face with the one man she never expected to meet: Knuckles' once dead father Locke!
Finally, Anti-Sonic gets his hands on another World Ring, second of the four he needs to achieve the Darkspine Sonic form that possesses power equal to Hyper Sonic/Shadow/Silver, Chaos Knuckles, or Tails' as yet unrevealed form of equal strength. But unbeknownst to all parties, Ixis Naugus' spirit has escaped the Spirit Zone and split into its three original components: Agunus, Suguna, and Nusgau. Now bodiless, the trio of wizards are determined to regain coporeal forms and the level of power they lost in separating. And what better way to do that than for each of them to acquire a World Ring?

With Zan at work destroying New Mobotropolis, Damocles the Elder challenges Dr. Finitevus to gain possession of the magic of Lazaar. However, the goat mage may find he has bitten off more than he can chew, especially when Finitevus reveals a few tricks that have been previously used...by Black Doom, Solaris, and Enerjak.

Rings of the World, Part 3 of 5
Anti-Sonic closes in on another World Ring, only to be met by Knuckles and Tails. The ensuing battle turns ugly as Anti-Sonic taps into the power of his previous two Rings and the one he manages to recover to turn the tables on Knuckles. Meanwhile, Locke tries to make sense of his altered reality while Lara-Le and Julie-Su do their best to hold off Horizont-Al and Verti-Cal from taking Lara-Su. Finally, the spirits of Naugus' original forms locate their first World Ring, only to be challenged by Aman-Rapi, Merlin Prower, and Tikal, who sense their presence and join forces to take them on.
Good news! Archie lost it's mind and okayed a monthly series of Big the Cat comics.

<i>Union of Evil, Part 1 of 2</i>
With most of his minions fighting the Special Forces and the rebellious Damocles absorbed into the Black Emerald, Dr. Finitevus returns to Portal with the Dark Legion. Along the way, the story of how he absorbed Solaris and Devil Doom as well as rejecting Luger from his body and mind comes to light. Arriving home, he announces his plans for next issue: his wedding to Lien-Da!

Elsewhere Nusgau, Suguna, and Agunus have escaped their enemies and collected two of the World Rings, their sights set on a third. Finally, Lara-Le gives birth to Knuckles' half-brother, a rambunctious infant she names Kneecaps. Horizont-Al and Verti-Cal swoop in, eager to collect their new playmate-only to find themselves dealing with the infant's extremely irritable father Locke!
<i>Not So Wedded Bliss</i>
Antoine and Bunnie are on their honeymoon, happily married and enjoying the time alone. Unfortunately, a dark spectre hangs in the background: namely, Dr. Eggman with a Roboticization ray that is able to penetrate the barrier to the Zone of Silence. While it cannot be used against ordinary Mobians, it manages to complete Bunnie's Roboticization. Antoine soon finds himself wishing that he and Bunnie hadn't gone away for quality time together...

Dragon Fury, Part 3 of 3: All's Whale That Ends Whale
As the Secret Service prepares to destroy the Metarex vessel, they are stopped as fan-favourite character Hugh the Whale makes his Sonic the Hedgehog debut! Hugh reveals an amazing secret: he is actually the father of the Ancient Walkers, Aurora's ex-boyfriend, the master of the Chaos Force, creator of all magic on Mobius, Supreme Mugwump, and pretty decent snooker player. Hugh decrees that life has become too complicated what with seven million obscure Mobians from thirty-two different dimensions teaming up into random and uncharacterstic armies, and aided by the True Superpower of his new-found friendship with Big and Froggy, sends everyone back to their own dimensions, bans magic from Mobius, and limits all Chaos-related activity to the Emeralds. What will he do next? Find out in the epic conclusion in SSS#15!
Union of Evil, Part 2 of 2
Finitevus and Lien-Da head to Las Vegas for a shotgun wedding, and immediately go on their honeymoon to Downunda, where they are captured and put in a zoo, because apparently most Australi - erm, Downunda reisdents have never seen an echidna before despite living there their entire lives. While in the zoo they decide they like it there, and vow never, EVER to leave it no matter what happens. And they lived happily ever after.
Sonic Super Special #15 - FINAL
Rings of the World, Part 5 of 5
Hugh the Whale makes his earth-shattering Sonic Super Special debut!!!!!!!!omgz. Using a special whistle, he quickly summons the World Rings, eats them, and - ahem - processes them into ordinary rocks which fall into the bottom of a lake and are lost for eternity. He also turns Bunnie back into her usual Rabbot self, and presents the happy couple with an all-expenses-paid honeymoon to Station Square, where they spend a blissful two weeks and don't encounter any problems at all.
Anti-Sonic, banished back to his own dimension, decides he likes it better there and joins a motorcycle gang which lives on the other side of the law, but always has the time to help out the local puppy orphanage. Tails briefly turns into BatTails by buying a Batman costume, putting it on, and taking it off again. Hugh the Whale, with his last remaining burst of energy, teleports all the Echidnas except Knuckles into the Marble Garden Zone on Angel Island where they decide that the ruins there are a more appopriate home for them and settle in happily. He also transports all the villains that haven't been mentioned yet, except for Robotnik, into jail cells in Oil Ocean Zone, and relocates the residents of Knothole/New Mobotropolis/etc to the Green Hill Zone, where he provides them all with new homes and a community. There is a big party at Uncle Chuck's Chilli Dog Diner, and absolutely everyone has a good time.

This is an add-on story and always has been. If you don't like that format, then that's your choice - but please don't insult everyone else and their posts just because you can't control them.

Well, seeing as how it was so blatantly OOC you could just ignore it, or make up some story about how one of the Assistant Editors was drunk off his gord and made a few last minute tweaks to the preview and was accidentally submitted, which you would then correct by posting the real one. And the process could continue.

Defeating Antoine with ease, the fully Roboticized Bunnie goes to meet with Croctobot, intent on joining him in serving their master Robotnik. Along the way, though, she runs into Shadow and Rouge, who responded to a distress call sent by her husband. Shadow finds himself contending with two menaces: Bunnie and E.V.E., the latter using the piece of her programming within Rouge to take control of the Bat in hopes of securing the Rabbot's power for the Metallix....
So I guess when the next year comes around, we start a new one?

Yeah, I'd love to start to a new one in 2008. This one got a little too confusing. >_<
We should do a rule restricting the size of posts - how about setting in stone we do one paragraph per story? That'd keep things manageable. (Maybe a law restricting the amount of magic/Chaos Energy/multiversal plots but if we're restricting the size of posts, we'd be inherently restricting that anyway!)
Do 'veterans' have to start it, or can us n00bs (Who aren't crazy in the head that is)?
