Will evil rule the day, or will this new alliance simply pit Shadow and Eggman at each other's throats?! Seems Tails may finally meet up with his parents. Can't wait for the start of the road to 175.
Sonic Archives looks cool. Wish it had more issues though. Did we ever get the cover for Archives 1?
Oh, I was wondering when Ian was going to get around to the Tails parent's in space subplot. 'Course, now I'm wondering about this "going to farthest reaches" craziness.
Sweet archives cover. Eerily remniscent of the old Sonic art style, I can dig it.
Let's see here. Predictions, predictions, predictions..... in an effort to find a miraculous medical cure for King Max,the Triple Threat head into space (depriving Mobius of both its greatest hopes against Robotnik), with the intention of getting to Argentum, the Bem homeworld to ask for help because for some reason Ceneca 9009's abilities with the deroboticizer made her relevant to a purely organic problem. Upon arrival, they find Wheel-World(Argentum) under siege by none other than the Xorda, and Tails is overcome by a desperate urge (more powerful than for a chance with Fiona) to not only see his parents against, but save them from imminent death, no matter what the cost, thus putting the entire mission in jeporady! Oh the drama! Oh the suspense! Oh please, somebody stop my mad ravings and try to come up with a better guess at how this issue will go!
By the way, Sonic Archives #2! Woot! I wonder how long it will take to catch up to this point?
All I have to say is if they're gonna have multicolored emeralds, I hope they get them the right colors before this is out.
Tails' parents and multicolored emeralds=yay.
A new Gallagher/Manak story=not yay when you think of their work in the last several years, but yay when you think of a Gallagher/Manak story featuring the old badniks!
Plus, it looks like Tracey's cover art is going to be sticking around for a while. Yay again.
And I wonder who's doing the covers for Sonic Archives.
If you look at the Archives cover close enough, you'll see Spaz's signature (although the signature is blurry, but it still looks like his). He seems to be drawing in the old games' style for these. Very cool.
Am I crazy or are we missing the cover to Archives #1?
Anyway, Snively is one of those characters whose artistic design often looks wrong in the book. However, this cover does him quite well (as does Yardley!).

you're not crazy, and not the first to ask but whatever.
i'm liking a Triple threat story. which is awesome, but i'm forced to wonder..... what exactly are the "devastating losses"? my guess, somebody died by that point (obvious)
Interesting. I get the feeling Team Sonic will meet Black Doom and his Black Arms in space. Yeah maybe that why Shadow is coming along.
Oh, hells yeah, I'm loving the covers to the Archives volumes. Wish I could say the same about Tracy's work on the normal comic. =/ I mean, I like Tracy's work in the comic and all, and I congratulate the guy on the effort he's put into it, but I am seriously not digging his covers.
Sure, the work he does on the covers breathes fresh new life in the comic, and I welcome that, but it just feels as though it lacks something. =/
Finally, the countdown to #175 begins, and with any luck it should be promising, as we now have Ian working on most of the stories. Hopefully Ian will be able to pull something out of his bag of tricks to impress all of us. Fingers crossed!
I'm glad they're going to wrap up the whole Bem and Xorda thing, which is what should be happening, and getting Tails together with his parents. That'll definitely be a heart-felt moment for all the Tails fans out there.
Umm... What I said about the Bem and Xorda is purely speculation. I have no idea what really is going to happen in it. But it certainly seems to be the most likely scenario.
The cover for #1 looks sweet. Thanks Adamis. Now if you'd just tell me where that sweet pic of Blaze you're using as an avatar is from, I'd be set.
Adamis, where did you get that prototype Sally art?
Sweet. Thank you.

Woo Hoo! We'll get to see Scratch, Grounder and Coconuts again!
I like that Sally is on the cover. The story with Tails and his parents has the potential to be interesting.
Well now, aside the fact that a ship has to be built/ztolen in order to get there..unless some portal is opened by Knuckles and they just poop-end there...
oh i'm sure ian will make a super quick plot point to make sure they have a ship.
Rotor: hey guys! i built you a ship!
Sonic: wait a minute, you didn't even know we were going into space.
Rotor: let's not even address that.
sonic: ok.
but on another point, this probably means that we're going to jump in time again.
What about the ship Sonic took to MoboEarth? Perhaps Tails has been repairing it since he heard his parents were alive.
Granted, in-continuity that was probably under a month. So that doesn't make a LOT of sense either.
It's been said for a very long time that Tails has been modifying the Tornado for space travel.
Greaaat..... while we're at it, why not have Ian go all the way and say he's been designing an interstellar battleship the size of 10 city blocks all by himself and name it the Blue Typhoon just for the sake of him having nothing better to do?
I know the stuff about the covers was asked over a week ago, but if you pay attention to when Westfield Comics updates, you will almost always get the covers from there. Westfield Comics just isn't going to be the first place to post solicitation/cover info.
