Ah, that's very true. I misworded when I said Ian wouldn't bring back old plot points - I was mostly referring to the Old Robotnik/New Robotnik sort of thing; stuff that's not worth raising because it's too old and too confusing for new readers. Insane evil Knuckles from a potential future would be something I'd class under that too.

i don't know about that, i'm sure he's tired of arguing the whole old robotnik new robotnik thing, but to say that he's not bringing back old plot points sounds like it's made up to me. rest assured Old Ivo is dead. but everything else seems to be fair game.
Well, whether or not it's likely to happen, the idea of insane future Knuckles playing some part in the Enerjak arc or some future story does sound interesting. Hey, maybe HE's the new Enerjak!
