The return of Enerjak in the form of knuckles should be something that changes the comic virtually forever.

Every time a Sonic X cover is made, the world is brighter and happier place.

I like the Mina redesign, heck I like every Mina design. She's the only non-Sega character that actually looks like a Sonic character. Heck she looks more Sonic than some of the post-SA ones.

Fearsome Foursome? Sleuth and Drago suck, so I am fine with that, but isn't this a bit quick for another reorganization?

well if the preview is going to say "Fearsome Foursome" it should be predator hawk, lightning lynx, flying frog, and sgt. simian being sprung from jail. i too am hoping things don't appear too happy-go-lucky in the beginning of this comic. the Enerjak arc has to have some reprecussions for it to be believable. i'm curious how this return of mogul has anything to do with the return of mina

Possibly Mina is the first unsuspecting, random victim and Sonic has to save her.
This issue is somewhat of a let down for the first issue after the Enerjak saga. Hopefully, it's the badly written synopsis that poking up right now. Need to read it to see how it unfolds.

Yeah. I'm already seeing this pan out. I was waiting for a preview of 185 and I gotta say

I really was expecting this. See Mogul's in jail watching all these events unfold. But what we all don't know is that during his time hatching up his new plan, he secretly has a Chaos Shard.

Enerjak and Sonic do battle, and the Shard is revitalized with energy, and Mogul stabs Nicole with it, causing her to be offline for a while. Hence they get outta jail, and Mina probably falls into their silly trap.

All in All this also means Knuckles is gone for a while again. Prolly undergoing a Chaos Coma again. Hence Mogul's gonn try to "save" Knux again.

...while I'm glad the best bad guy ever in Sonic is back...he has Naugus with him. Naugus is nothing now. I'm not down with this.

Before people start complaining about this issue not being much of a followup to the Enerjak saga, please just consider that we have three more issues of it and we have no way of knowing what will happen at the end of #184. If Enerjak were to blow up New Mobotropolis, release Mogul et al., and then teleport off to have a one on one with Walt Wallaby, I can't imagine there'd be any complaining about this issue. Wait and see how it pans out before you start criticizing it.

Not gonna say anything about the StH comic just yet. No positive comments about it. How's the saying go, "if you've got nothing good to say, don't say anything at all." I'll just leave it at that.

As for Sonic X, now I have not picked up one issue and read it. >> It just ain't my thing. But the covers always make me grin and have a chuckle at just how zany they are. Now, I haven't been paying attention to all of them, but each time we've seen Eggman, he's been in a different costume each time, right?

MMM...Bark and Bean and Naugus and Mogul...to be honest, I'm completely apatetic about the existence of Bark and Bean in the comic.

And I'm apathetic towards Gallagher and Manak.

The fact that Mina is going to be back has me pretty pleased. I find the teaser paragraph kind of ironic...life really hasn't been too kind to Sonic and his friends as of late...haha. From reading the preview, I am not excited about this issue or the return of Mina. I am hoping this isn't a sign that Archie is reviving the love triangle. Edited to add, I don't think Ian would revive the love triangle though. Take what I said concern for Sonic and the girl I want him to end up with. Plus, it is hard to get Archie's past actions out of my mind.

Well, I'm not sure as to how I feel for 185 yet but I think bringing Big Bad Mogul into the picture might be interesting. If Mina's gonna be a victim of Mogul, I say bring her in 'cause I don't want any more new characters and this might be a good way to use some of the existing ones.

Ok I had to lol at Knux's nose on the cover of SX. Eggy looks creepy as hell and there's a possessed tiger on the top. I really like this cover.

WB: I think you missed Antoine somewhere in there since he was dying for Sally's attention and now is married to Bunnie who kissed Evil Sonic before he became Scourge. Evil Sally flirted in previous issues with evil Antoine. Wow, I could follow you love dodecahedron paragraph. Somehow I feel happy ^^ and getting "you're crazy" stares from my co-workers XD

I don't think Ian will bring back any love triangles involving Mina, unless he's changed his mind.
This is just a wild guess, but I think that Ian will make Mina a damsel in distress who can't defend herself, thus giving her a flaw making it harder for Mina haters to say "OMG, Mina's just a stupid Mary-sue who blah blah blah". Which I'd actually support (anything that has any chance of keeping some Mina haters at bay).

And as for Ash, I believe (a belief which Ian may have slightly influenced by what he said, though I'm not making any 100% factual claims) that Ash, having not seen Sonic in a while, but just haring of all the horrible things that have happened to sonic, will realize that Sonic's just "human" and has flaws, and that he is not a threat to his... erm... "interests". Why do I think that that is Ash's reasoning of why he could possibly hate Sonic less? Well, that is exactly what has happened with my opinion of Ash. I hadn't seen him in the comic for a while, and when talking to people about the Songoose arc who don't even read the comic, I realized Ash is just "human" and has his flaws, and realized that if I saw some guy I liked with another girl, I'd be jealous, too. Wow, this is the first long post I've typed that wasn't a rant.

Ultra devil chao or anyone else, I have a question. If Mina is turned into a "damsel in distress who can't defend herself" wouldn't that make her somewhat Mary-sueish? Correct me if I am wrong, I admit I am not an expert on what makes a character Mary-sueish.

A Mary-Sue is a "perfect" female who upstages all the established chars and everyone likes.

If Mina becomes a Damsel, then she's just a damsel. How said Damsel is characterized is a whole nother matter because a well-characterized damsel in distress who has a prior association to the characters can still be entertaining.

So, Mammoth Mogul's back after only two big story arcs? Figures; this guy just can't stay down! Well, I just hope that whatever he does involves him, Naugus, and the others climbing back up the ladder of supervillainy-they've suffered enough embarrassment, don't'cha think? I mean, everyone but Bark and Bean in Mogul's newest group has been in a prison of some kind repeatedly throughout the series, while Bark and Bean got canned on their second real appearance-the first one counts both issues with Sonic's birthday.

Another thing I'm wondering about is how the last plotline is going to branch out onto this; what do you think is going to happen to Rad Red? I just hope it doesn't get all angsty; the last thing Archie needs is more emo time.

What Mina redesign? She was wearing that outfit back in Sonic #153/154 when Lim drew her last.

I doubt that Sega would let Knuckles undergo a permanent character redesign in the comic.

More likely he'll turn purple for a couple of years.

Semi-on-topic: I don't have any specific complaints about the comic, DC. I just don't care. The excitement, nor the enjoyment, isn't there. Most wouldn't know this, but after last night's Avatar episode or tonight's Naruto episodes or when I read Deathly Hallows (among other things) I got a sense of fulfillment and a "wow" or "I can't wait to see what happens next" feeling. I'm not getting it right now from Sonic. As for the games, my taste in consoles contrasting with Sega's decisions on where the Sonic games I'd try to play go has a great deal to do with my inability to care on that front.

I agree that Knux probably won't undergo any permanent redesign. That cybernetic eye deal was M25YL only, so far as we've heard so far, and I doubt that Ian's in any hurry to bring it into the present storyline. I'm just hoping that #185 and the next few issues don't feature background plots in which Knuckles, his friends/allies, or both are beating up on him for what he did as Enerjak.

Plus, is anyone else kind of upset that Enerjak/Knuckles didn't run into Mammoth Mogul? The battle in New Mobotropolis was too short, and I was hoping to see those two duke it out or something. Last time Mogul confronted Enerjak, it was over in a heartbeat; this time, he wouldn't be so lucky, but I guess that's how the dice roll.
