So, what does everyone think of the Sonic Underground Knuckles, if you've seen him?

I find the lack of rivalry with Sonic very interesting. After realizing that Sonic is not out to steal the Emeralds, Knuckles seems to become a full-fledged ally, with no hint of a rivalry. And giving him a voice to make him sound more like one of Sonic's contemporaries was an interesting move, too.

He's quite different from any other Knuckles, I think. I always imagined Knuckles' personality being the closest to the Archie comics' version, since that was what I grew up with. He was such a wise guy in those first appearances!

One thing I really don't like about the Sonic Underground Knuckles is his sadism. I mean, he was pretty much roasting Sleet and Dingo and going to feed them to his pet dinosaur. **headdesk.** That is really not something I want to see from Knuckles!

Why not? Sadistic Knuckles is badass!

LOL. Well, I suppose it could be argued that he's sadistic in the early games too, what with all that laughing as he activates traps and whatnot. I'll admit, I like him there. But feeding strangers to a pet dinosaur? That just borders on bizarre.

The fact that he had a pet dinosaur is much more bizarre.

And the fact that he dwells on an island that floats in the sky due to an oversized green rock isn't bizarre?

... Point taken!

But to be fair. Sonic Underground was pretty bizarre to begin with. XD;

Much better than SatAM as far as character and location variety is concerned.

**snarks.** Truer words have rarely been spoken! The main plotline was interesting (I love the theme song), but other things are just ... **headdesk.** Like Sleet able to turn Dingo into anything from a motorcycle to a boat to a safe. WTH?

And Jaleel White playing all the siblings was highly amusing, but Sonia had an awful voice as an consequence. LOL.

Yeah Sonia kinda ended up sounding a little like Urkel pretending to be a girl or something. Just going off what I remember. I'll have to hear her again.

He was one of the more mature versions of Knuckles. I liked him a lot though he was much more subdued and seemingly more sensitive than the "usual" Knuckles we get.
