Like him or not, it's Silver's time to shine. If nobody had read the backup from one of the issues last year, it was revealed that Mogul was Silver's mentor and a lot of people of Bumbleking wondered if he was misleading Silver, but it looks like Mogul has genuinely gone good in the future. I'm actually excited for Silver's arc. Also, I'm excited to see the return of the silver ink for the 25th issue.
I haven't recieved this one yet, but I can say there are parts about this I'm really looking forward to and there are parts that I'm not. As far as Silver goes he's been pretty useless in this comic. As long as he's not overtly spouting nonsense about traitors I think this could be really entertaining as I enjoyed those short five pagers about Silver's future. In factthe future aspect is the sole reason I'm excited. I like the fact it's not blazing flames and Iblis Triggers. Plus Mogul as a good guy, Now that's something I need to see.
This be spoilers for more of his arc, but
I may go ahead and post the solicits for more of the story arc, but I'm not sure I will.
Flynn has done a good job of making me care about Silver, mainly because it involves Mogul. I'm still not convinced Mogul is wholly good. Of course for all we know Sonic is dead and after his death, Mogul felt like he had lost purpose.
True but does Mogul's purpose in the current storyline is to wait until Sonic dies then takeover or something like that. Maybe it the reliazation of Sonic's death that made him turn a new leaf I dunno.
chaoscontrol14. of the BumbleKing forums, posted the summary for SU 25. Enjoy! ^_^
I plan to go get my issue sometime today...I must say, this looks like the best SU arc since Knuckles: The Return. And of course its always good to see Enerjak.
Enerjak! Now I can't wait to get this issue (which should be in a day or two). He's by far one of my favorite villains and it's criminal that he hasn't be featured as much as he has.
And we all know who Enerjak is! Thank you Edmund foreshadowing
I teeter totter over the Sonic comics nowadays, but I happened upon this issue at my local Borders today. I don't particularly care for Silver since, well, I never played any games he was in, but the cover captivated me with its simplicity and gorgeousness. I skimmed through it until I got to the ending where HOLY CRAP is that Remington!? And OH MY GOD, is that...a newly designed awesome variation of ENERJAK!?
Confession, I never liked the Enerjak outfit. The blue and yellow color scheme was ugly and some of the artists draws his mask like he has a duck face. This one though is simply amazing. I bought this issue purely because this outfit design (something I don't often say for Sonic characters) is absolutely gorgeous and I need reference because I want to fanart this thing ASAP. The cape, the armor design, the fact that I can forgive black and yellow (another color combination I don't usually like), probably because the red balances it well, this villain wear is breathtaking. Now I'm tempted to buy the rest just to see more of him.
Anyone else slightly disturbed by the wall of soulless heroes and villains behind Enerjak?
This arc looks to be an absolute blast, don't get me wrong, but I hope it at least progresses Silver's traitor story a little, and isn't just an excuse to wrap up this incredibly old story with alternate Lara-Su.
I would suspect the traitor to be Enerjak himself which I think we can all figure out who he is by this point. And yes the wall of soulless heroes was a bit unsettling but that's probably why they used it for the cliffhanger.
I don't understand it. First, Dimitri turns into Enerjak, then Knuckles and now some monster takes a stab at being the one power-hungry beast.
No, this is in an alternate universe where Knux is still Enerjak; Ian has hinted through the blogs, etc. that this could possibly be the alternate universe where the first Lara-Su, from StH #106 and 107, is from. Er, just to make it easy, this Lara-Su!
