Knuckles BACK-UP! yeyeah!
I LOVE the covers for both of these. And Knuckles in Sonic #156. Heh, yayness ensures.
Wooo! Can't wait to get it!
Something told me Tails would become a major player in TDS and 165 the issiue after proves it, and it's released around my B-day (7/25) YEAH!
Sonic X 11- Cover > you. Motobug, Crabmeat, Caterkiller, Egg Robo, Flickies... ^________________^
STH 165- I'm sorry, but I really hate the way Spaz draws Sonic nowadays. Anyway, I guess the Destructix are here to stay. Lookin' good.
And finally, a new Knuckles solo story. We haven't had one of those since Afterlife (unless you count M:25YL). It certainly is going to be weird, though, as the first ever Knuckles story not written by Penders. Butler is always a plus.
Ian, I greatly await what you have in store for us!
I bet TR will/did jump for joy when she sees/saw this.

It's not. Romy Chacon has already done that. Personally, I consider RTAI by Karl Bollers to be a Knuckles story as well even if Sonic was in it.
Nah, I don't jump for joy anymore. I've been out of it too long for that and won't get a chance to be interested until #162-164. It is currently on my "buy" list along with three issues prior to it.
It does seem like the comic is going through some rough times right now. I do like the stories that have come out lately but I would rather perfer the style of the early 100's. 102,106,110 were all awesome issues!!
Hey True Red! I like your signature!
watch the double posting techno. Welcome to the forums anyway!
Yes for the first time in years, a Knux solo. I'm crying tears of joy.
The Sonic X covers are getting better looking every month. I may subscribe to that soon for the covers alone.
Bah. Spaz has done much better. Sonic HQ has scans of all of his cover art. Go do yourself a favor and check them out for yourself. Then you'll see why some of us are slightly disappointed.
>> I hate Quick Reply sometimes.
Ok. Knuckles with a life-altering decision. Prolly gonna choose to not guard the Master Emerald anymore, and thereby lose his mantle as Guardian of the Emerald.
Man, as Knuckles goes on...he's like... becoming Athair more and more. Protecting the many instead of the few. He's just not..getting all mystical yet...but hey,I guess dying and coming back counts.

He sort of made that choice back in Sonic #141 if you think about it.
His Sonic X covers are loads better.
He's trying to differentiate them by having them look all shiny on the STH covers, but I'd much prefer it if he went back to his old style.
Well, yeah he did, but he can still reassume his mantle at any point when he comes back. Not to mention he barely made it off the Island before Robotnik took it over. Locke will just be pretty mad at him.
But-alright, something still dosent make sense {And maybe becasue I havent read a few issues in a while..}...
What did Robotnik...DO..that made EVERY Freedom Fighter in the WORLD SUCK AZZ, and for them to lose all ground before Sonic came back?
I hate Quick Reply too. I can't count the times where I've lost my message because I wasn't signed in...
This looks good! (STH issue, I don't read SX) I mean, nearly anything is gonna be good after the last year of issues, and Ian has certainly impressed me after only two.
I'm trying to see who is in the picture on the table...(which is making my neck hurt. Ow...) as I figured it might give some clues about the Destructix. I can't really tell who it is, though.
Wow, I'm going to seriously have to look into both of these! The cover for Sonic X is just pure awesome! *pokes the piggy in the corner with innocent glee*
AND...OMG?! A Knuckles back-up story!? *faints* It's been so long I've forgotten the means to the joy behind it. (Or in fact a good story for the back-up.) ;__; I TOTALLY agree on the whole Knuckles becoming like Athair deal. I'm all for it, too! When it really comes down to it the only way to protect something you love is looking at it in the broader since. Kind of like an ecosystem. What's really creepy is why Locke got so ticked off at Knuckles for leaving his responsibilities behind. (Hakuna Matata anyone?) It's almost parallel to Sabre's disgust at Athair for not coming to saying his final good-byes to his mother before she died.
