SONIC X #28

"Green Eyed Monster!": The world is embracing green energy to reduce cost and help the environment, and Sonics adopted city, Station Square, is no different. But some choose to use eco-friendly means toward eco-unfriendly ends! Namely the evil Dr. Eggman, who uses his new bots powered by the sun, wind and water to devastate the city and leave Sonic and friends on the defensive! Now Eggman is free to pursue the biggest natural energies ever, the Chaos Emeralds and the Master Emerald. With these power sources in hand, Eggman will be in control of more power than the world has ever seen. Will Sonic be literally powerless to stop Eggman this time?!

Steven Butler did great on the art in issue #17, it was incredibly on model, with hints of his own personal touch. As with issues 24 through 27, I can't wait for this SX issue either!

I'm suprised to see this preview up so soon after the last one. Good to see Steven Butler doing the art again. This story seems like more of an action one for a change.

Since the Chaos Emeralds seem to all be involved, perhaps Sonic X #29 is the issue where Super Sonic makes his big debut?

Is Super slated to make an appearance in X? I thought he was off-limits or something...

Filler story. This one feels like something that was written to satisfy the readers while they came up with their next big game plan!

You could say that about any issue of SX, especially as just about every issue so far has been a one-shot and there's no real overall story arcs. How about reading, and then criticising?

In an interview that Tracey and Ian did here: www.jazmaonline.com/inter...?intID=635 Ian says--

Quote:

Sonic X borrows very heavily from the parent series and up until very recently was tightly woven into its chronology. Now were loosening things up a little, but you can still say our stories take place before the end of Season 2.

They may have the freedom to use Super Sonic now.

The cover is teh awesome. =O Very impressed. Finally, somebody other than Tracy is doing art. He's been consistant for like, 3 months for both seires.

I might pick this one up as well; Seems interesting. Although, hopefully the boss isn't going to use elemental powers of cliche-ness (unless they come up with something good).

Liked this issue. Now both main titles will have featured SS vs. PC.

Heh. I find it amusing that this is the second time Steven Butler has drawn a battle between Sonic and Perfect Chaos.
