I don't have time to type up full spoilers at the moment but I'll give you the main points.
Sir Connery destroys the Sword and Crown, dying in the process.
Eggman saves the day by attacking with his egg fleet. Using the same teleportation technology used by Hunter in #141, Naugus, Mogul, and thier flunkies are trapped in new Egg Grapes.
Final warning: Anonymous's identity revealed below:
A.D.A.M. is indeed Anonymous, as many fans theorized. None of the characters know this yet.
I will probably fill in more details later.
YES!! The sword, the crown, and the source of all were some of the most un-Sonic ideas ever introduced into the Archie continuity. Cheers, Ian, for destroying them all!
We definately need more info on the newly revealed anonymous. like for example, how is that at all surprising? and what's the deal with it being the biggest story development since #50?
And who died? Or was that only in the last two issues?
Man, I would like to know who Anon is, in a way, but I'm posting with my PSP and can't highlight the spoilers. The good part though is that I can't spoil myself before I get the ish which BTW, I haven't got 163 in the mail yet let alone 164.
So how is anonymous as big as robotnik? that doesn't make any sense at all.
Nevermind the fact that Eggman erased all of the data on Sonic, so ADAM would'nt know all of Sonic's battles as previously stated.
I mean take Cosmo in Sonic X, no one knew when the new season first came around with her introduction and then falling in love with Tails that she was going to die, no one knew that, till it actully happen.
True Sir Connery wasn't around as long as Cosmo, till were you grow fondness for the character, but still in some eyes he was a major/minor of the stories that he was involoved in, especially when it to the Source of All.
And speaking of which, now that it's gone, Sally and Elias can forge their own futures and destinys.

Just cuz comp data's erased doesn't mind it's gone for good, it becomes in essence blank space available to be re-used to store new data should the need arise. A clever hacker would be able to retreive said data no prob.
no one answered my question.
oh and since we obviously aren't using the spoiler tags anymore, how the hell does Adam have a body?
Perhaps nobody knows the answer.
I certainly don't.
Remember that a lot of the "facts" on Anonymous were provided by A.D.A.M himself. It makes sense for him to provide false/misleading info in order to avoid detection.
I am relieved that anonymous is not any character I really care about. I didn't really expect to be surprised, and didn't want to, I have come not to exspect too much from Archie. Plus fans here have been posting some well thought out ideas on who they thought anonymous is, I probably would not have been surprised no matter who it was. Some people had to have been right.
oh i expected to be really surprised, i wasn't, but whatever.
so what's the deal with the fallen hero thing?
please tell me it's not sir connery, because if it is then i'd have to declare that TDS didn't live up to it's expectations.
Well, you can look at it this way; every damn character that Ian HASN'T killed in this arc has one of two possible outcomes;
1. He/she/it inspires Ian to do a number of stories that has them in it, hence justifying their existance.
2. He/she/it will simply get killed by Ian in a future storyline.
Virtually everything and everyone that was actually destroyed in this arc has no real use to Ian in this context.
But seriously, there's just so much crap to wade through and comics have certain guidelines to follow! He can't just kill every useless being in only three issues!

Why not? He's the writer, anything Archie green-lights he can do. Personally, I hope he does do this and get rid of some of the useless crap Archie has thrown into their miasma of a comic over the years.
EDIT: stupid ezCodes -.-
What's the deal with Finitevus? He obviously knew of the storm, so did he play any major role?
Dr. Fin did not appear.

I agree, the poor weasels...
Haven't got the issue yet, but I couldn't resist!!!
Thank goodness that stupid sword and crown were destroyed! Now there is nothing to stop Enerjak if he returns...
I'm glad Anonymous was this character though. It does make perfect sense!
Can't wait to get my hands on this one! Finally some decent closure.
Hey 😮 , that figure looks like a siloutte of the original Robotnik.
Could it be?
The return of Robotnik, at long last? This is too good to be true. That silhouette is so Robotnik it isn't funny.
Assuming he's written, drawn and colored properly, there's going to be a lot to look forward to.

Yes he can. If he can have Robotnik trap a bunch of them in Egg Grapes, he can just as easily have Robotnik kill them in those Egg Grapes. Which is what the good doctor should do anyway, so as not to have to worry about other Big Bads in the future.

If they share the same fate as the Echidnas before they were lost, they'll be lucky enough to become vegetables, considering they'll be fed toxins and have their memories erased. Who knows, maybe he will kill them? Ian said he wanted to focus on more of a SegaSonic feel to the comics, so maybe this is his way of doing so. After all, Mogul, Naugus, The Destructix and the spider ninjas aren't SegaSonic. This may give Ian the greenlight to focus on a new set of villains, such as The Armada.
Spoilers (Select To Read): As for A.D.A.M., I'm beginning to believe he had a previous identity we've seen before he was introduced in the comic, either that or A.D.A.M.'s been roaming around with a body for some time. I don't think it's the original Robotnik, I believe Ian when he said that he was gone for good.

no. he's definately not going to kill them.
I have wanted to stay quiet until it hits the shelves, but I also want to stop this before it spirals out of control. Spoilered for those of you still dodging the reveal:
Spoilers (Select To Read): The "Robotnik" shown on the last page is intended to show A.D.A.M. falsified the images of the Robotnik-like person. I cannot stress this enough - SatAM Robotnik is NO MORE and A.D.A.M. is Anonymous.
.......... Well.
I guess that's that, huh?
yeah, but the question is, how was adam made, and how did finitevus know that he was going to do something?
Robotnik created A.D.A.M. by accident, he says. Perhaps he's mistaken, though. Maybe it's a mutated form of the virus that Snively installed in Robotnik's computers in issue #76.
could be, or maybe finitevus created him
ok, so i got this issue today. it's not bad. it's better than GBU for sure. but it's not RTAI good. sir connery actually turned out to be cool in the end. i liked him.
and why do Ixis naugus and mogul always have to be imprisoned or banished? can't they just be active like robotnik is ALL THE TIME?
I kinda like having Ixie and MM as "special guest star villains". If I saw them too often, their threat would diminish.
MM: blab blah blah smite you all long words
IXIS: BWAHAHA! *rolls dice to cast spell*
MM: yadda yadda still talking
IXIS: *fails iniative*
DESTRUCTIX: -grunt-
SONIC: n_N
Like Baron Zemo in the Thunderbolts, Robotnik now has a arsenal of super villans at his disposal. The trick now is getting them to co-operate.
Ian's new to some of this, and once being a fan himself, he understands what the fans want to see in the near future, and in ways like with TDS he drops hints or clues of what might be coming soon, like when Sally Tells Sonic that now isn't the time, and Sonic replies Never is, but says he's glad to see her back in the field, which in my opnion tells me that there will be more to this later on.
And the A.D.A.M situation is a story that will be sown up and finshed up in a huge anniversy issiue.
Those are things that now Ian has done his summer clean up, he can really focus on.
-Brian
i'm sorry, but i maybe understood half of that.
Man, I still havent gotten that issue, Borders needs to pick up the pace so I can pick up my issue XD Sounds like a good read.
Yeah, I just got my issue a couple days ago (danged subscription!) and I found it to be a great read!
Hopefuly this weekend or this week i'll find it.XD
How can ADAM have a body? Easily. As seen back in "Home", he can take control of SwatBots, and presumably any of Eggman's non-sentient robots and computer systems.
As for why ADAM had a old-Robotnik silouete, I can see two possible in-story explanations:
1. In issue 23 Robotnik had a plan for revenege in case he was killed, and in Brave New World, it was suggested he might have devised a new back-up plan. Perhaps ADAM was a program Robotnik planted, that just took a couple of years to activate?
2. Alternately, ADAM could just be inspired by the old Robotnik.
So, what page did anonymouse announce himself?:/ I didnt see it, I must've read in between the lines.
Incase any of you are a bit on the slow side, the line "A.D.A.M. Determines Anonymous' Movements" is what the acronym, A.D.A.M., stands for.
And, Cloverporcupine: A.D.A.M. introduced himself as Anonymous on the last page of TDS.
See now I could've sworn it stood fer Autonomous Digital Assault Microbe. Bad acronym! I trusted yooouu!!!eleventyohnoz
You are correct, actually. A.D.A.M. does stand for that, but that is what Robotnik made it stand for. He said so in the third issue of the Home arc(132?). A.D.A.M. obviously either devised the real meaning for his own name afterwards, or had it all along ever since his mysterious creation.
EnergyEmerald :thank you!I shall look that over again XD
While I wasn't surprised to find out that those lasers were non-lethal, I was still a little disappointed. Killing off a slew of lower- or middle-tier characters would definitely not be a first for Archie. Call it "Order 55":
