No, that's not unnecessarily true. Ceneca-9009's goal was to derobotize the Robians. It's entirely possible that Bunnie would have slipped under her radar.

In SSS#11, before receiving Nate Morgan's upgrade, Dr. Quack explains to Bunnie that a hardware renewal would basically deprive her of ever having her limbs deroboticized. The Bem technology seemed to only reverse the effects of those roboticized by Robotnik-Prime and the current Robotnik/Eggman. Considering the technology used to create Bunnie's new limbs was foreign to what the Bem technology was programed to reverse, the possibility of Bunnie having her limbs deroboticized has become even more slim than before. The robotic limbs she has now were not even her organic limbs to begin with.

We really don't know what happened to the Bem, do we? I guess a lot were probably killed, but that doesn't mean they're extinct, nor does it mean that their technology was completely destroyed.

Check your facts. The Bem technology was originally designed to turn ANY metallic being into flesh. The Robians weren't even the original application of the technology as you suggest. The Biotexans were. And thy weren't originally organic, were they? Neither were the bodies which Robotnik and Snively were inhabiting at the time. As I said before, if it worked on the Biotexans, Robotnik, and Snively, there's no reason to rule out Bunnie's derobotization. All Dr. Quack knew about at the time was Mobian Derbototicization, which restores flesh that has been roboticized. Bem derobotization is clearly a fundamentally different type of technology because we've already seen it do things that mobian deroboticization could never do.

But anyway.

How 'bout that issue 171?

That's a valid point you have there. I stand corrected.

Now I too would like to know why Bunnie had not been treated for derobotization more than ever.

Well, I don't have that issue onhand, but maybe whatever the Bem used to identify/target the robians skipped over Bunnie because she's mostly organic.

I think it's mostly that if they got rid of Bunnie's robotics, she'd be pretty much useless against Eggman.

The first time the Bem did a mass de-robotizization it ended in the life forms dying because that was how they evolved to adapt to their environment. Those aliens, were they the Biotexans? Anyway, Cecna 90210 probably didn't want anyone else to die -- which is why Jules was left roboticized, if I remember correctly. So maybe Bunnie wasn't de-roboticized because the program couldn't figure out what was up with Bunnie and it was programmed to err on the side of caution. Just in case, you know, it turns out Bunnie's body had lost her original leg and arm.

It's probably just splitting hairs (Pun) but it really is a fascinating thing to ponder.

After the relatively disappointing ending to the "Anonymous" saga, 170 and 171 have really renewed my faith in the comics. And after playing Sonic on the 360 (not a terrible game, but could have been so, so much better), I have nothing but words of encouragement for the talented people at Archie who time and time again show us what Sonic is meant to be.

I approve !

Very good ideas and good stories in these last issues. Giving definitive answers was a challenge Flynn achieved greatly. It allows the global arc to restart on better bases !

are you talking about darkest storm? or about Adam biting the big one?

i personally liked them both. TDS was pretty well done, even if it was mostly about getting rid of plotholes, and The Tommy/ADAM dying thing was really awesome IMO it was a good way to get Super sonic,Shadow,And turbo tails back in action. also it brought feist back so i really liked it.
