Oh shoot. Only now I notice the obvious 60's Batman reference in the Sonic X cover.

Also: "Why are we walking like this?"

I have a dream. That dream is a spin-off where El Grando Gordo, Scratch and Grounder team up to be AWESOME. Final Crisis couldn't compete.

i second this notion. btw it doesn't look like final crisis is going to be competing with anything, everyone at my local store dropped countdown lol.

Wow...this issue sounds like the embodiment of retardation. Seriously, I have only ever liked four of the Destructix members, and the only Badniks I liked in any continuity-Crocbot and Octobot-have both been destroyed. The fact that both forces appear to be working for Mogul in addition to Naugus and the Sonic Fighters Trio indicates to me that Mogul's return this time is going to be the sorriest yet.

mogul using badniks both present and past is a very classic 'botnik maneuver which completely doesn't suit him. they're really trying to dumb down some of these villians. it's bad enough naugus has become a hopeless lap dog for mogul, now mogul can't even devise a plan worthy of himself? i hope the story comes over better than how the preview states

You're making assumptions. This could very well just be a plot to keep Sonic occupied while he worked on his own sinister plan.

I am curious to know who Mogul is after, assuming it is a creature. This could get interesing, we'll see what happens.

The first Select doesn't interest me (Still waiting for Sonic Archives 7 darnit!) but the cover for 187 is wonderful. I wonder just what Mogul is up to though...maybe he's after another Chaos Emerald to regain his power? And Bean looks awesome on that cover.

I'm leaning more on (and this is pure conjecture) Mogul not really getting anything else aside from the one whom imprisoned him :O.

Heh same here. I never would have thought to see them in this day and age of the comic. I wonder if it's for the 15th anniversary of AOSTH.

Probably not. The 15th anniversary for AoStH is in September this year (and the comic's is July, with issue #190). It's a very nice coincidence though.

All this really means to me is that the 'fun' of #185 will end at #186. Which is a shame cause-
