Spaz seems to be more influenced by SX in those covers. A little surprised to see Eggman seemingly getting out so early, but not too surprised after seeing him in #201, and taking into account how Regina and Snively were referring to him as one of the only people who could actually be a threat to them.

NOTE: The StH covers are labeled wrong according to Ian. I went ahead and put them with the solicit they technically belong to.

Wow, that really is nutty; Screwy's one screwed up rodent by himself but a whole barrel full, yikes!

I honestly expected Eggman to be locked up for at least the next twenty-five issues. ^_^;; Wonder if he'll still be out of it when he teams up with Sonic. I've never been a fan of the Mobius: X Years Later stories, but dang, the designs of the new generation of Freedom Fighters looks absolutely awesome.

Psx, if you're talking about what I think you're talking about... then they're test tube babies. Have to be. Unless Bunnie's been made completely organic in the future. o_O (I hate fridge logic).

Well, depending on how close to the Sonic In You Face future this future is, it wouldn't be impossible.

We all remembered how the last 'alliance' between Sonic and Eggman went so this should be pretty interesting.

is that Mina on the cover of Sonic Universe?!

i agree on the eggman thing. i was expecting some super huge build up for him to come back, but if this turns out good then i really don't mind.

What's that? This is going to be an Epic Win? That's what it sounds like.

Psx, if you're talking about what I think you're talking about... then they're test tube babies.

Sounds plausible.

More curiously I wonder why their kids have bionics. Is it possible that their mother's genetic state caused their bodies to deteriorate like Bunnie's did?

is that Mina on the cover of Sonic Universe?!

Nope. That looks to be Mina's daughter. She doesn't have a Mongoose's eyes (which are similar to Sonic's) so maybe she's some kind of hybrid?

That looks like Arygle from the original Timeline all the way in the back. His headset is almost exactly the same. I was kinda hoping he'd be a little less goofy then his father.

I'm kind of disappointed Silver didn't make it into the Future Freedom Fighters.

ETA: Compare #204 and Sonic Universe #1...

I like the new style better. Never liked how horribly skinny Sonic looked on the covers of the 90s - 100s.

Since Mina was married to Tails in M25YL, that figures - those look like his eyes.

Biological impossibilities notwithstanding, I'm more curious about Bunnie and Ant's kids (who, admittedly, were the only two there we hadn't already seen before), who seem to've fared a little better in the individuality stakes when popping out of the parent-cloning machine.

But as usual, I note how the Freedom Fighters of the Future seemingly can't have Lara-Su having mixed with anyone from outside her parents'clique.

Sam's saying that Lara only seems to have friends who are the children of her parent's friends.

Administrative - it's not about "styles" (these comics are only about six months apart) - it's about the fact Sonic's in an almost identical pose on both covers.

Ok. One at a time cause that just upset me.

1) Sonic and Robotnik say what? Yo really, how many pair-ups is that. You already put up 27, 108 and 180, but there was

23-Captured by that guy who wanted to make them into a terrarium.. and 125-Xorda....and..

Ok maybe that's all. Still. Wanted him gone for ten issues at least. Want him with a beard and ragged mustache (that stache grew back kinda fast )

Yeah I dunno... I'm tired of Robotnik helping them. Especially since this is Robo-Robotnik turned human turned robot :o. Sonic's beaten two Zone's Robotnik's ...shouldn't that cause a weird shift SOMEWHERE in the Multiverse?!?!?

And them Khan agaisnt Sonic -.-...When did this happen last? 94? No really, I can't remember when we seen Kahn last, but I'm tired of him always crying about how no one likes him-and then he tries to pummel Sonic.

Also, doesn't the Iron Queen have some sort of power over Eggman's machines. I'm thinking she has shown some sort of mind/control over robotic things, but I'm not sure/can't remember.

Sam: Well, Vec's kid is there, Maybe she's mixing with him :o. I dun remember if she thought him a doofus before, but yeah. And seriously, I wish Mighty's lineage made an appearance. That'd be fun to see.

Oh okay, I'm dumb...

Sonic's kids need to grow up fast, give ol' dad a break.

Sorry. When I caught the post it was two broken pictures and two working ones. Had no idea what to make of it. Anyhow ... it happened before with another (fired) artist. At least this time they're copying anyone else's work but his own. Not really surprised in any case.

Since Mina was married to Tails in M25YL, that figures - those look like his eyes.

Mhmm. About a month or so ago there was a discussion about children / hybrids and whether they were possible or impossible and to what extent. What'd we call her? A Foxgoose? A Monsune?

Monsoon. Haha!

But as usual, I note how the Freedom Fighters of the Future seemingly can't have Lara-Su having mixed with anyone from outside her parents'clique.

Seems unlikely we'll get updates on the kids that are actually around (Little John / Mace / Alexis) in the current time line after all ... which is a shame. They should all be 5 maybe 6 years older then Lara-Su.

Sonic's kids need to grow up fast, give ol' dad a break.

I kind of agree. I'm hoping Sonic tried Sally's role out for a change and just make a plan for the kids to execute since he's too old to fight Shadow apparently. Apparently. Like to think since he is King of Mobius now he managed to brush up on his leadership skills if nothing else.

#204 - Bleh, we've seen this before. Only difference from before is that Eggman's now officially crazy.
#205 - Who didn't see this coming??
SU#8 - OMG TAILS JR. IS SO CUUUUTTTEE!! XD

*Lots of covers showing Sonic and Robotnik/Eggman teaming up.*

Besides the two others Darkest Light caught, there's #157-158. Nothing new with that team-up.

SU #8 looks ok. Still not that hyped, but I'll be curious to see why Antoine and Bunnie's children will have cybernetics. Kind of a nice touch actually. I was kind of hoping/expecting Silver to be more involved too (or at least in the FFFs). Funny little new group. MiniMina, miniTails, and Argyle also got new looks, which is nice since they no longer look like complete clones.

Hopefully the cover of #204 means Tails will get more of a major role coming up. I also sense a little bit of a Chronicles set-up there, where Eggman will help the heroes until he can get back on top of his empire (or into a better position), and then he'll back stab them. Nice to see him with his glasses again. XD

As for #205, I sense Regina mind control or MK going into a hissy fit again. I'm betting the former, but I certainly won't be surprised by the latter.

Oh God. Factoring in Tails' penchant for naming things after extreme weather conditions... D:

I'm guessing Typhoon. He didn't get to have one in the comics version of Sonic X I think.

Monsoon and Typhoon ... I'm having too much fun with this.

Finally getting around to wrapping up some more of those darned Knuckles book enigmas. Will the final answer prove satisfying? Who cares! Just as long as we can check off one more of Ken's lingering plot threads and move on to the next, it's all good.

Agreed! I actually CARE about what happened to him. I care about if he may or may not still be alive. I also care about it possibly shedding some GOOD light on the Brotherhood and whether they are alive. I'm with Darkest Light on this one! I'm still holding onto hope because I want to believe that Thunderhawk is alive...and doing well-ish when he gets back.*folds arms* "Will the answer prove satisfying? Who Cares!" .

.....TCK, I do! I've been a LONG time fan of the "Knuckles the Echidna" series. I've felt pretty sick to my stomach how they've been randomly discarded off like rubbish. So many plotline opportunities now killed off. *shakes head* I do care what happened to the characters. I do care what's going on with the plot. I do care... =/ I'm looking forward to this issue, but I'm also fearing it.

Cammi ish mai new bestest friend here. Sure we thinned the book and are focusing on a smaller cast of Characters. That's fine and dandy. But hell at least when you get rid of a bunch, at least let us have closure. For pete's sake we saw the horse guy die not to long ago...and he came outta left field-but no, Brotherhood just went poof. I need that to be explained.

It WAS explained. Finny captured the Brotherhood after a battle between them and Eggman's forces wore them down. He then performed horrible ...yes... experiments on them, and then chucked them into the Twilight Zone or whatever the heck Penders named that stupid place the Dark Legion was banished to, where they can float around for the rest of eternity watching their entrails float around. :O

o.O Experiments? My god I'm missing too many issues, I remember reading somewhere that Finny tossed them in the Negative Zone or whatever it was called...but I dun recall hearing about experiments.

>> Still want a story about what the hell they're up to now, cause yeah, I'm pretty sure they weren't killed.
