The current Robotnik aka Eggman isn't the original prime Robotnik he came from a different timeline. But what happened to HIS Sonic?
If I remember right, he was Robo-Robotik, who took out the Freedom Fighters in his world (someone, correct me if I'm wrong XD).
Nup, you're right. Robo-Robotnik wiped out Sonic and the FF on his own world, got bored, and came to Mobius Prime. The easiest way to think of it is just as Robo-R winning his version of the epic faceoff in #50 but getting roboticized as a side-effect, and then coming to our Sonic's world to fill the void.
He died? Awwww.........
I'll be happier when I get more sonic archives less stupid questions anyway.
Now I need another to make this thread go somewhere otherwise it's a two post flub.
Think think................
Oh yeah! Here's another; Zonic said Sonic prime needed a robotnik for some sort of stability I forget what........
But we find out Sonic prime has at least 5 years of peace in the future without Eggman or any adversary
How come his universe didn't explode or anything?
Because in the Future Sonic has Defeated all of his enimes for good. Its not that robotnik could never be defeated its just that it had to be at a certain time & place to manintain the Balance of the Universe.
& MXYL is still tecnically an Elseworlds tale so it doesn't really matter all that much in the big sceam of things...Yet. (I Stll there could be a sonic Prime/ King Sonic Team up some day.)
The way the original Robotnik died (simply being erased from existence) was an abnormality that caused instability in the Multiverse. When Robo-Robotnik (Eggman) went to Mobius Prime after killing his native Freedom Fighting group he helped fill the gap that wasn't supposed to be there yet. One day Sonic will defeat Robotnik / Eggman but when he died the first time it " wasn't his time ", essentially.
Honestly I thought Sonic was beating a dead horse when he mentioned Eggman not being from his Zone. It's been years since he's come and he's seen Zonic at least twice before he mentioned it.
Ah. thanks.
I am currently collecting the archives. (need to get number 11 this month) I do remember Robo-Robotnik from Night of 1,000 Sonics. It was in Archive 5.
