I probably asked this already, so please forgive my lack of long term memory.: For those of you who subscribe:

1) How much is shipping and handling?
2) How close do the issues arrive to the release date?
3) What condition do the issues arrive in?

Subscribing to either Archie or Midtown comics is now my only option, it's like every place around me stopped selling Sonic. Please respond soon, want to subscribe before the next issue.

Shipping and handling is included with Archie's order price of $14.50 for 10 issues.

Hiro answered 1, so i'll do the rest.

2- They usually arrive before the release date. But it all depends on where you live. Country-wise can be a bit more complicated, and I'm don't know much about that.

3- They arrive in a plastic covering, so you don't have to worry about the issue getting dirty. So they stay nicely crisp (for lack of a better term x.x ) Although, if they do come in a deplorable condition you may ask to get another shipped to you.

Is the replacement process difficult?

Also, can I use a photo copy or scan of the order sheet page to subscribe so I don't need to ruin one of my issues?

I've never had trouble getting replacements, and the order sheets say at the very bottom that you can scan or copy the page instead of ripping them out. =)

Praise the Ancient Walkers!

If I subscribe this week do you think I'd be in time to get the next issue?

or you can be cool and use the internet to order

It's hard to tell which issue you will receive first.

Do you have a particular site in mind?

They take a while to do this, though. It says that they can take 4-6 weeks for delivery on the subscription pages of the comics. Never ordered online, so I can't say anything to that.

Yeah, that site CRC linked. That's the official site.

And yeah, the delay seems about right @ CRC.

An interesting thing that happened to me, and to others, is that you may end up receiving your first issue AFTER the second...just as fair warning. I ended up receiving 177 after I got 178. o.O

Yeah, ordering online is actually fairly easy, and they'll take debit cards just like a credit card, which really helped me out. Odd thing is though, I ordered all six of the Sonic Archives volumes out now plus a ten issue subscription, and though the paperbacks already in over a week ago, I've not seen an issue of the subscription yet. I ordered the first week of January. How long would you figure I'd have to wait?

indeed @ Becca. That's usually how it is though. Most magazine orders save you roughly half of what you would pay for them at a bookstand.
