Well, seems like it anyway, kinda cool how the artists tends to include Tails' facial expressions when he sees Fiona and Sonic together....I feel a fan comic coming on..
Um. Tails killing his best friend over a matter of unrequited love is not only an unrevealed display of violent psychosis on Tails' part, but it's also something Sega would let pass, ever. Granted they're not on the best terms so far, but Tails would never actually kill Sonic.
Ian pretty much dumped the whole "I hate you!!" subplot.
I mean, we wouldn't want two best friends who are practically brothers fight each other!! That might actually make for interesting reading, and..."GASP" character development!! But we wouldn't want that now would we?!
Seriously though, Ian been doing a bang-up job, but this has been my biggest pet peeve.
It hasn't been dumped, it's simply not the focus at the moment.
Well, it just goes to prove that old song lyric that love is wrong and girls are *edit*ing evil.
Now I'm going to go hide in case Ian decides to throw something blunt at me.

What, two of the characters having a spat because one of them had a crush on a girl he didn't actually know that well and who didn't know him? That's not interesting, that's dull and whiny!
Actually, we don't know how well Tails knew Fiona by this time. Sure, his original crush on her was based on the robot. However, Fiona we can assume spent the time Sonic was "away" in space hanging with the Freedom Fighters--which means Tails would've gotten to know her to some degree.
Hasn't it ever happened to any of you that you got angry or upset and you said some things you really didn't mean to someone you cared about, and then the next time you saw that person you both kind of tried to pretend like it had never happened, but it was really awkward between you so eventually you had to address the issue?
If not, then good for you. But it has happened to me.
