Yeah, he hasn't been in the comic since #130? What ever happened to him? Is he coming back? I thought him and Sonic still had a feud or conflict?

I liked the tension between him and Sonic. I wish they'd bring him back.

I'm fairly sure that we've seen both him and Hershey since #130. If it wasn't 4am, I could probably remember issue numbers - as it is, the only one I clearly remember is #134, when they show up multiple times.

Hershey's also sitting on the edge of the crowd at Ant and Bunnie's wedding, so Geoff was probably just off panel. 😉

That "conflict" stopped, like, forever ago. =

St. John and Sonic buried the hatchet shortly after the "Home" arc.

I'd like to see St. John and Hershey appear in a main story again as more than just ancillary characters. They are spies, afterall, and would be quite helpful.

thank you for the answer. I wasn't sure when or if it happened. I guess I have some back-issue reading to do.

Geoffrey can only come back in the comic whenever the writer can fit him in a future storyline. I don't know when that time will come though...

Also, the main reason for their feud, Sally, is no longer in effect as Hershey and Geoff is married now and quite in love.

Well, until Sonic starts cracking onto Hershey. :crazy

Why would he do that? I don't recall Sonic ever trying to get involved with a married woman in the past.

I hope you realized that was a joke, Toby, and that your reply was a sarcastic quip in turn.

Didn't Snively go almost TWO YEARS without an appearance? After he was changed back to human in 118, I didn't see him again before I quit the comic on 135 (except for that accidental shot of him).

So yeah...people fall through the cracks. Might be a good idea to ease them back into the picture. They're still useful characters, and could work in some kind of espionage story. (Cause there's gotta be spyin' goin' on somewhere!)

Yeah, I'm pretty sure we didn't see Snively until #152, unless you count that still unexplained glimpse of RoboSnively in the #130s.

It was explained. In issue 138, we saw Eggman trying to perfect a Robo Snively. In issue #163, Eggman had Adam get rid of Mecha, and to abort Project Robo Snively.

So, they went back and made a legit explanation of a plothole? Nice!

(From what I understand, that plot was supposed to be right after 117...thus the RoboSnively)

Okay, here's the deal with Geoffrey. Along with the rest of King Acorn's Secret Service, he was infected with microscopic probes by Dr. Robotnik. As a result, King Acorn had them removed from active duty until further notice. Because of this, they haven't been active at all in the war, and thus it really serves no purpose to have them in it. Ergo, Geoffrey hasn't shown up.

Of course, that doesn't mean he won't be coming back. I think that the whole "microscopic probes" thing sounds like nanites, and that sounds to be like a nice fat opening for a return by A.D.A.M. Matter of fact, I have a story called "Omega Search" over on Netraptor and DeviantArt in which A.D.A.M. does just that, taking control of the probes to make Geoffrey and Hershey his pawns.

Ah, that info was correct around Sonic #102. However, things changed since that issue. The Secret Service was re-instated by Sonic #118. Geoffrey & Hershey (the only members left anyway) found Elias while on a mission in #121. They were part of the mission in #130-133 as well (I'm not counting the #124-125 one just because it was a squeeze every character we can into the story mission). Due to the fact that Sonic found them when they were about to be executed in #130, they were obviously busy doing stuff while Sonic was off the planet. They went away due to their "honeymoon" and the lack of focus on what the duo does. However, they've popped up in crowd scenes.

Which I'm grateful for to this day.

Since we were basically left in the dark about their courtship up until the shotgun (literally) wedding, I wouldn't mind seeing a flashback backup story to fill that in. It'd be a convenient excuse to revisit that whole Draco business, as well.

So did they ever explain what happened to the probes? Because if they didn't my story may still be plausible.

Rotor destroyed them. Anything is possible, but I doubt any more is being done with nanities. I don't read everything posted at Ian's board but I think the "death of Tommy" event was also supposed to be a "death of nanities/A.D.A.M./etc." event, too.

Dash it all! Well, thanks for the info. Darn, this is the second time I've screwed up a story because I didn't have my facts straight! I need to get the comics!
