well i do not hate but i do not like: mina mongoose, amy rose, shadow, hope/maria, rouge the bat,kneecaps, and knuckles mom, reasons: min mongoose and amy are obssed with sonic! finally mina gives up on him i do not know about amy though, then theres hope, maria, watever i just dont like her, go back to the games! shadow....i have a bone to pick with you, first of all he spends most of his time gliding about like an ice skater with a brain tomber, i don't see why people like him so much, rouge the bat? well i can say this about her she is a "lady of the night" if you know wat i mean.
knuckle's mom i don't hate but she is kinda weird i mean she worships her own son an kneecaps is just a little brat.
and dr. robotniks "daughter" looks like something from the 1980's thank you archie comic for destroying her!

Those are two completely different characters. One is from the games (Maria) and has only been in the comic in flashbacks dealing with Shadow's past. Hope is Snively's step-sister and is basically the only overlander (or human as I think Archie has pretty much stop the distinction) living in Knothole.

I haven't read the comics as of late, but I do think of Kneecaps as a lovable character. He's just a baby. ^^
I don't know enough about Tommy to hate him, though I do think he didn't need to be brought back after he "died."
I know I had already stated my "disliked characters" already, but one other one I forgot to mention, in which case I felt sort of a tossed-up coin for, was Nate Morgan.
Nate hasn't been seen since issue #105. We know that Robotropolis was "destroyed" back in issue #110. Assuming Nate is dead from it, i'm surprised they didn't somehow bring him back.
Perhaps he was just another character who just died (such as Julayla, etc.)
I mean if they can bring back Tommy after he died the first time in the comics (# 117 - probably earlier if it was explained by Sonic, I forget) surely they could with Nate, unless there were hardly any requests for his return.

and sorry about the hope/maria thing but i did not know what name to use i havent played any of the new games all i have is sonic1,2,sonic and knux, sonic spinball (all for the genesis) and sonic adventure for the dreamcast i am trying to get a copy of sonic adventure 2 and shuffle, it was hard enough finding sonic adventure.

i have been collecting archie comics since 125 but i do have a couple of older issues and in the older issues the humans are nowhere to be seen, did they just fall out of the sky?

Overlander = 4-fingered human, mainly lived in Megaopolis and interacted with the Mobians all over Mobius, including on Angel Island (formerly Floating Island), for better or worse
Human = 5-fingers, lived in Station Square; didn't interact with anyone unless you found their "hidden" city--until everyone (mainly Robotnik and the Knothole & Angel Island groups) found out it exists during the Sonic Adventure adaptation
Overlanders/humans only dropped out of the sky if one ignores the Great War and forgets the Robotnik & Snively had to come from somewhere and Archie loves to give everyone a past history. 😉 Though considering the overlanders that the Mobotropolis-branch of Mobians fought did spend over a decade in space searching for another planet to live on after losing the Great War, you could say that they dropped out of the sky due to how they returned back in the Sonic 90s by doing exactly that in their space pods. 😉 You are more likely to see humans when Station Square features into the story as that is where most of them live. None, save Hope (as Snively has gone back to being "bad"), live in Knothole--where the comic usually takes place.
too bad, the only reason i read the comic is because it wasent like the games.
I've always felt sympathy for St. John. I have a suspicion that if we saw things from his point of view a bit more - constantly trying to run an orderly military operation and protect people whilst some arrogant, insulting teenager who thinks that he's too cool to bother with rules and orders constantly risks screwing it up and getting people injured or killed - then we wouldn't like Sonic much, either.
Fiona. Mogul(he just can't seem to die.. and I bet there's a loophole where he'll get out of the d00m capsule things of d00m). Antoine (incredibly annoying). And I like Sonic Riders and the SA series, t'ank you!(omgz0r! i pulled an Antoine!!1) Never liked Shadow the hedgehog (game)
Soopah- There is nothing wrong with liking the games/ SEGA aspects in Archie, just as there is nothing wrong with wanting the comic to remain a seperate entity. It is a matter of taste. However, the topic is about characters you hate or dislike and it is hopeful to give more details. I'd like to know why you consider Fiona and Antoine annoying.

Sam- you bring up a good point about Geoff. I found his attitude difficult but didn't factor his age ( a good 5+ years above the main cast) and stressful position. P'raps I wouldn't mind being around him when he's off duty and Sonic is the farthest thing from his mind.
I find that I really am starting to dislike Sonic the most. Yes he's the main character but he comes off as being a jerk, a REALLY loose cannon who doesn't seem to understand the big picture sometimes and a guy who just can't get a clue. I find it hard to believe I wanted him and *CENSORED* to be together...now I just want to beat him over the head with a frying pan.
Maybe I'm just a deluded Knuckles fan who wants to see his dreadlocked homeboy get another comic again.
Miss - Hello to you too. I think Antoine is annoying because of his bring the FF's down further in Satam and the Arcie continuation. And as for Fiona, she just creeps Tails out and really is'nt suitable as a girlfriend of Sonic.

On Topic- I just remember Dulcy's abusive boyfriend from issue 100 something. He had no character devolpment, just showed up outta nowhere, and it was 'specially hard seeing the very innocent and childlike Dulce get slapped around. He looked sharp but still, there was no excuse for him. Hopefully he stays buried in rubble and doesn't pull a Tommy.
