An UGLY GIRLFRIEND! 8D
______________
A disgusting new promotional site for Bacardi Breezers says all that women need to be more attractive is to find an more unattractive female friend to stand next to.
According to Copyranter, Israeli ad agency McCann Digital launched the "Get An Ugly Girlfriend!" site in Hebrew and English along with a Hebrew-only facebook group to promote the fruit-flavored alcoholic beverages.
The site suggests that like Bacardi Breezers, ugly friends come in several different varieties and women can use them to appear more attractive in social situations, such as at the beach (picture 1) or at the mall (picture 2).
While misogyny is rampant in alcohol advertising, usually those campaigns are aimed at men. It's unclear why advertisers thought showing pictures of women they deem hideous along with degrading comments would make ladies line up for Bacardi.

Also successful marketing ploy is successful in that increased brand awareness has been made through viral (negative or positive) advertisements 😮
Also maybe it looks at pulling a bloke in that if you have a dog of a friend, being with them makes you look more attractive (even if you do look a bit rank yourself)?
But none of this matters, the fact is the more booze you drink the more attractive the opposite/or same* sex becomes
*delete as appropriate
*has 15 pints and starts to chat up Craig*
the ol' beer goggles? ;p
as for this advert, i find it slightly amusing, but puts me off wanting to drink the stuff again.
I know it's wrong, but I LOL'ed long and hard while abandoning morals and human compassion.
... But it's WRONG, so very WRONG!
...hehe!

... hilarious?
Cuz I thought it was. X3
It's just funny adverts. Everything everywhere is going to offend someone some way or another, just how people are kicking and screaming now about the two ebonics Transformers in part 2. Didn't like the advert? Don't buy t heir product.
I don't see why there always needs to be a stink about it.
