March the Second, 2004
"So, I'll see you round, yeah?"
"Tomorrow man. See you!"
"Bye."
By now, I've stepped onto the tram. And then that familiar tram smell kicks in. The one that smells like the horrible product of mixing fish and urine.
I look down the tram, just to check it out, to see if anybody looks as if they're going to kill me. Probably not.
I sit down by a window, in the emptier corner of the tram.
And as I sit down, I do what all other people do, and just stare blankly out the window. And as the tram heaves into motion, light peeking in through gaps between buildings flashes past my eyes.
And then my mind slips into monotonous analysing.
Tree, car, dog, person.
And then, something clicks. I look at a passing pedestrian. Something funny about the light around him. It seems warped, maybe a bit...
Just a trick of the light. The Sun bouncing off a window or something.
I turn behind me to check something in my bag, and for an instance, the passengers at the other end of the tram catch my eye.
I close my eyes for a second, thinking about how this is probably a relapse of my epilepsy. I brace myself, preparing to go through a convulsive nightmare. But to my surprise, nothing happens. I open my eyes again, confronted with the same view.
By now, everybody is looking at me, and I at them. Maybe I've eaten something hallucinogenic. My mind begins to race furiously.
There are colours around these people. What do I do?
I almost missed my tram stop actually. I then ran home from there, and locked myself into the computer room.
I impulsively turned on the computer, and logged into my IM client. I needed to talk to someone desperately. It's not every day that you see colours around people. As soon as I logged on, I found the perfect person to speak to. I told her what was happening, and she helped me tremendously. She even helped a bit with this post. I'm not saying who this person is just in case they want to stay anonymous about it.
Of course, a lot of you know about Auras, right? Colours surrounding people, and changing with their mood, status and awareness about them.
And of course, what I'm trying to say is that I can now see them wherever I go.
Now, of course, there's no way to prove this to you. You can't plug an AV cable into my cerebellum, and so all you can do is trust me. Please do.
After two weeks, I've become accustomed to it. I can walk down the street without flinching when I turn a corner, and I can also stop staring at people at will. I've only told three people so far, but I've finally gathered up the drive to talk openly about it. Only on the internet, of course. None of my family know, and I don't intend for them to know for some time.
And already, I've seen a few very special things that made me wonder about God. On the very first day, I saw something like this. I can see straight across my street, into someone's living room. And on the day I started seeing these things, I watched someone pray. You know those glass orbs filled with electricity? And when you touch them, the bolt follows your hand? When this person prayed, their aura changed into a very large, gleaming white version of that. The next day, I peered into a nearby Mosque and saw the same thing.
It would be apparent that all kinds of praying causes this effect. Whatever you believe in, I am led to believe that it all goes to the same place.
Someone in my school who I suspected to be psychic also has a very large aura, which sometimes hooks onto others with tentacle like strings of light. I have yet to confront this person on what they are actually doing, but I suspect that it's some kind of empathy...
And now I'm rambling. I hope I haven't wasted your time.
And please, I really want to discuss with you all what you think of this.
I know some of you may be cynical, but there's no way of proving this other than trust. So please, I hope you trust that what I'm saying is true.
Thank you.
My aunt says she can see it too. I can sense it, but I don't get to see the purdy lights. The Almighty hates me. *whine*
Sounds like an amazing talent to have Spon. I know alot of people who believe in that type of thing and have studied long and hard to achieve what you have (I'm not sure wether to be cynical or not, you have no reason to lie on the matter and I always love to broaden my perceptions of reality and such, so let's say, yes, I do believe you)
So what's it like? Are the aura's you see coloured at all? If so do they ever change or is it a permanent colour to reflect that person's soul?
I say you should treat it as a gift though, I mean it sounds like a useful little 6th sense, though of course announcing it is always a bad idea. Cynical people tend to have little tolerance for people who believe they experience things which are outside the norm.
Personally if I didn't know you I'd say you was full of crap myself, but, again, why would you lie?
Thought of any practical uses of it yet, aside from coming to the Comics convention and starring at our souls
Hehe, doesn't change his rating in my book. Up or down. I based the Warden ability to sense other people on my own I seem to exhibit from time to time.
Craig's aura is green! You know, like the green M&M's?
*flee* XD

cool...story has it that if a person is about to die they lose their aura...
*PS. that story comes from a lady who could see auras...she said she was walking to work one day and saw people getting on an elevator, well the elevator had bad cables and the backup breaks failed and the people plummeted to their deaths, she said that when she looked at the people in the elevator she couldnt see an aura around them...
just a story i heard, dont know if its true
but hey, cool for you
Hm. You're the first person I know who can do that...And trust me, I have some pretty strange friends. One of them is psychic, another has premonitions, and there's even something about myself that's different, but I'm not exactly ready to come out into the open with that yet.
So hey, if you're able to do it, keep doing it. ^_^ See where it takes you.
I can sort of "sense" someone's presence, although I think it's just caused by very subtle sounds being picked up by my ears that I can't actually "hear" in the true sense of the word, but is still stimulating the nerves in such a way that my brain detects someone or something.
Use The Force, Cycle....
I too can on occasion see Auras. ^_^ I consider myself psychic, but I really don't know what class.. I can't read minds, I can't make spoons go 'bendy-wow'..
My mother's a psychic too, but more of a medium as she can (involuntarily and unpredictably) talk to and see spirits (let's hope it's that way, anyways.. otherwise she's nuts. c_c Nah.. I know they're there, because although I can;t see them they have a profound effect on me, so.. )
And _supposedly_.. I really really really don't know this for sure, but supposedly.. you know that 6th sense where people can 'sense' others in the room? Apparently I can effectivly 'cloak' it, and make my aura vanish. o_O As I say though, this is based on what other people have said to me, so.. make of it what you will. (I'd think of some examples were I not already wiped out from this week at college. ^_^; )
I envy you paranormal weirdo's :p best I can do is hear the high frequency sound of something that's on, like a TV or computer, and even that is failing now I'm going old and deaf ;p
Not that this is a bad thing per-say 60MhZ games (which is now the set standard now all video games consoles require SCART) had such a high pitched noise, it would give me a headache after an hour or two of gameplay. I can still feel like a density change in the sound of the room when I click the 60MhZ button on Dreamcast games, but aside from that I'm pretty much over the whole thing and cheering happily 😀
60MHz? As in 60MHz sound? That's far beyond the audible spectrum, if I'm not mistaken. In fact, that's just below the FM radio band. That's near the frequency my mouse uses to talk to my computer.
Use The Force, Cycle....
*Force Chokes Rico*
Spon...
Would you be able to see your own aura if you looked in a mirror?
Outta sight!!
People's moods, eh?
red- passion, heat, anger, danger
yellow/orange- sunshine, happiness, lightness, optimism, cowardice
green- laid-back, jelousy
blue- moody (can be uplifting, spiritual, or dark)
black- anger, depression, fear of the unknown, dark feelings
white- positive, pure, peaceful, clean
Man, I sure wish I was psycic. I do suspect I'm a medium though. Oh well. This is about you. And I can sometimes hear electricity, and dog wistles.
Mirrors don't reflect it, Xag. Which means it isn't a type of photon.
And against what many people think, an aura is not solely one colour. It fluctuates with the emotions of the person. The list that arrowhead posted is quite accurate.
That's brilliant! Like the X-Men's powers. Aura's are amazing things, a life force signal that not even the most powerful computer capturing device or camera in the world can capture.
Incredible.
I know people can see these aura's. Like I said earlier my aunt can. It's creepy because she instantly knows what mood you're in.

only thing that happens ta me is i can tell if someone is coming...hear requencies, like tvs and pcs, game systems, etc.
i do suspect i could have some sort of special thing about me. people say im wierd and when they first meet me, they feel something strange about me.
you could read some about it.
don't give up on that... could be on to something
hear requencies, like tvs and pcs, game systems, etc.
Um, I doubt you hear anything that everyone else doesn't hear on a day-to-day basis.
You're very lucky.
I have absolutely no form of psychic ability, second sight, sixth sense, unusual hearing, X-factors or anything else, nor do I even have it in me to honestly believe that others can. I don't even know any interesting first hand stories.
We must be the most unsupernatural family ever, now that I think about it. At one of my brother's parties someone set up an ouijaa board once, and the glass didn't move a milimetre. They were sat there for fifteen minutes watching an exceedingly still glass. We can't even fake our own magic.
I'm so jealous.
well, ya know what i mean, right. i dont hear them i just get a weird tingly thing when im around an antennae or sumthin (like anyone else cant')

Thats no sixt sense pal, that their opinion. Sorry toi dash your dreams Anyway, I'm really not sure what to say. I mean besides people thinking about you, Craig's right, you have no reason to lie, so theres no reason for me not to believe you besidess I don't usually believe this type of stuff. Oh well, maybe one day I'll find you and guess my mood, then I'll believe you. Good luck with your new talent.
