0. Robot Chicken
It makes me cry that Simpsons won.It's not a bad show, heck no, but it doesn't deserve No.1.
Some of that list REALLY isn't right.
Simpsons:
Craig Bayfield:: *Posts, as there's no doubt that Simpsons will win*
Sonic HQ:: yay simpsons
Sonic HQ:: some bad seasons don't take away the fact that it was so good
Rico Underwood:: It WAS good.
Sonic HQ:: it's salvageable
Rico Underwood:: no... there are no more ideas left.
Rico Underwood:: or they'd be using them
Craig Bayfield:: I have to say some of the latest eps have been getting better
Sonic HQ:: yes
Sonic HQ:: though not last week
Craig Bayfield:: series 11-14 were poor, 14-16 are good
Sonic HQ:: wot craig said
Acrio the Fox:: Haha okay.
Bright Heart Raccoon:: = (
Sonic HQ:: 1-2 ok, 3-7 INSANELY GREATEST STUFF EVER, 8-9, very very good, 10 not good, 11-13 CRAP, 14-16 there's some hope here
Sonic HQ:: starting with 14 there have actually been scattered episodes that were almost 3-7 quality if you overlook a few misfires
Sonic HQ:: like the fox news parody
Sonic HQ:: and there was another really good one a while back but i can't remember it exactly
Tom & Jerry is crap, and practically never funny. What exactly is its redeeming quality? o.o
Toy Story 1 & 2 I'd put higher, either directly above or below The Simpsons.
Shrek is a bit too high I think, especially with it being above every non Toy Story Pixar movie. The Shrek movies are quite good, but rather overhyped.
These lists are pointless, mainstream, somewhat arbitrary, and ethnocentric, but they do make good fan debates.

That's why I posted it Vec. I do so love to rant and rave about the few things in life that I do feel passionate about
I can't overly complain about much, except some of the very early stuff in the list being too low... oh and OVERFIEND! How could they put tentacle rape next to Alice in Wonderland?! It hurts my head!
I remember voting on this...I had to pick 5 shows to vote for, I remember voting for Pokemon (Yes, I like the anime, sue me.), The simpsons, and 2DTV, can't remember what else though.
The one surprise to me was that Scooby Doo only reached #49, though I blame Scrappy Doo for that.
I was happy to see pokemon there as well, I probably am the only person on the planet to enjoy the show, But whatever, Anything after season 5(AKA Pokemon advanced) I can't stand though. It's become so bland and dull, and lost the satirical and fun nature it had in the earlier seasons and is intent on making itself into a typical anime...AND FAILING.
Also kind of shocking that Donald Duck and Mickey were placed so low. Personally, I'd have placed Rugrats, Wacky races, Scooby Doo, Roadrunner a lot higher than they were.
Oh, and...

77. Herg Adventures of Craig Bayf... Tin Tin!
XD!
Top whatever lists of whatever always suck though. No Ghibli movies other than the two that were most popular in the West? No Cowboy Bebop? No Animaniacs? And these lists always have very recent works within the top 10.
As for South Park, I think that the TV series is generally better than the movie.

1-2 good groundbreaking and very influential, 3 even better, 4-7 INSANELY GREATEST STUFF EVER, 8 a few episodes that missed the mark but stilly really great, 9 all of season 8's faults amplified overall definitely below average, 10-16 CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP (apart from the odd one or two jokes per episode).
62. Battle of the Planets
I am going to pretend that this is referring to the Invader Zim episode by that name. Speaking of which, where IS Zim? Surely Zim should have been in the top 100.
45. Pokemon
When you look beyond the scary hype, it really is a pretty cool show.
38. 101 Dalmations
My second favorite Disney film. I grew up with this one.
21. Princess Mononoke
ALMOST in the tyop twenty. So close.
17. Aladdin
My favorite Disney movie. Ever. The Genie is awesome.
13. Nightmare Before Christmas
Great movie, lots of fun, and I'm glad to see it getting recognition.
5. Family Guy
Oh, come on. It's funny, but... number 5?
Ethnocentric is right. WHERE'S SAILOR MOON!?
...Eheh. Anyways.....
The Simpsons is NOT the greatest, for the reasons everyone stated. That,s and the fact that I HATE it when recent things get precedence over older stuff, and that American stuff ALWAYS gets precedence over foreign work. Not knocking America, since it is my home country and a lot of animation does come from there, but its not the ONLY place.
Like VCP said, where's the anime (and we don't mean Overfiend - that MUST be a fluke!! XD) that doesn't have Pikachu in it? Where's Le Triplettes de Belleville, the best thing to come out of France since.....since......well? Where's "Mona Lisa Descending a Staircase"? I could go on, but that would take forever.
Also, there is NO doubt in my mind that Felix the Cat (the first EVER cartoon character to achieve ANY longevity not even in the top 50? WTF?), Beauty and the Beast (which pretty much started the era where animated movies actually got ANY recognition in awards), Finding Nemo (I like The Incredibles, but not over Finding Nemo!), Looney Tunes (Do I even need to explain?) and Mickey Mouse (Ditto?) should have been higher.
The only thing I really agree with about this list is that "What's Opera Doc" is the best short animation ever. It has to be. It's a complete satire.
Like the list I found a year ago, this list is mostly just....wrong.
Cooki,
76. Belleville Rendez-Vous
.....
They changed the name on me. DUUUUUH xX
I stand corrected. No. 76 should DEFINITELY be higher than Pokemon....which should be lower. ^^;;;
