Well, well, well. I have 3 or 4 new singers/groups i'm going crazy over. 1st off Jem...incredible. Then Natasha Bedingfield is just awesome. Now these next two are very new to me and I don't know much about them, except they're Canadian as many of my favorites are. Paper Moon is a group I first heard of on Radio Free Roscoe. The only song i've really ever heard from them is Remember Me and it's mighty soothing and pleasing ^_^ . Now Reverie Sound Revue also is a group I got from RFR. And the one song that is in highest demand, probably of all time, from me is One Marathon. One Marathon is here.
I've been listening to an unknown singer who has a habit of underappreciating his own abilities. Be aware, his music is very.. interesting; chances are you'll need to have somewhat bizarre tastes to fully appreciate it.

For reasons I won't, and don't have to, bother to elaborate, Iron Maiden is the undisbutable best band ever (And <i> Hallowed Be Thy Name </i> the best song ever).
And my second favorite band ever is Slayer... Ya.

Oasis too
Nirvana, hands down. System of a Down is another favorite, along with some punk bands like NOFX, Rancid, and Bad Religion.
