why do i feel insulted. its as if you're saying my posts arent as advanced as the rest of you. because of my nationality.

-___- you know my country actually thinks my race is stupid so you're wasting your time. i'm already insutled enough being what i am in my world.

Or more advanced, depending on how you look at it. That you are from a third-world place that is recently advancing would itself give you experiences quite different from those of most users on this site. Whether this reflects positively or negatively on your posts depends on what effects one thinks such experiences would have, and the priorities with which one decides whether such effects are good or bad ones.

Equating "it casts your posts in a new light" with "saying someone is less advanced because of their nationality" is presumptuous, at best.

i'm really surprised at how many people want to know where i am, is it cause you really like me or cause i'm so strange you need a reason or or is it cause it sounds intersting?

We're curious, because without that information we don't really know what the context behind your situation and your views is. If what you say is true - because after all this is the Internet and people will fake their own deaths for attention sometimes - and you're part of a persecuted minority in a third-world country (I recall a time when you said that you were "part of a tribe that was one of the last to be civilised" at some point, which I managed to find interesting and pitiable at the same time seeing as you implied you weren't civilised before), for one thing your local issues will be so far removed from us that we won't have an existing opinion on them one way or another, and for another we'll actually be able to fully understand your point of view.

It sounds like you're afraid to say anything publicly because the moment you do someone's going to kick your door down and arrest you or something. If that's not the case then you have nothing to worry about here.

well i dont tell where i'm from for a lot of reasons, one is so no one would sterotype me to my race... another and mostly so my relatives dont find out what i'm really like, see we have a status problem we behave in a way that doesnt show anythign about us in public. i was born to be a saint to be of a certain behaviour. saints (saints or upperclass whatever is closer to the english word) get power and titles but if others find out i'm really an average person with so many flaws that image reflects bad on everyone connected to me and to avoide losing their power and title have to get rid of the loose end... that's where they get imaginative with it. the least is outcast. and the law cant interfere at all in our problems so its real and bad.

and no voltex i never lied about anything, 0___0 i know my life sounds weird and i hope i still can be on the mofo i do get the feeling i dont belong here a lot of times and even try to avoide comming but its hard for me -____- i have no self control. so i apologize for being secertive i assure you that there are members that know everything about me and seen me. i just avoide most that knowledge. sorry.

Having said that Mada, I sort of have an inkling of where you're from; I understand what you're saying.

I don't quite get where you got the impression you don't belong here. Your demeanor is a breath of fresh air, in my humble opinion, and I'm glad you're here.

That being said, of course you can't stop coming to the MoFo!

It'll never let you go.

There's no reason for you to feel bad for not wanting to share everything about yourself online - if you ask me, what you have is a very healthy attitude.

As for not belonging, I think you come across as a very sincere person and you post in all sorts of different discussion threads (from what I can see from the forums I frequent). Ideal member, I would have thought!

Third-world doesn't necessarily imply a particular race anyway, as there are various regions considered third-world that have different predominant races. If you're referring to stereotyping third-worlders as a whole, well, there may be such stereotypes, but does that really mean that you being from a third-world country is something that shouldn't be mentioned at all? Just because we might have not-entirely-accurate assessments of what the implications of that would be?

As for others finding out you're "really an average person" (in what sense? We're all different) what does that have to do with you telling a webforum you're from a third-world country? Or were you referring to specifying which country it is? (In which case, bear in mind that I myself already said that you told us plenty.)

But yeah, no need to apologize.

you know its funny but i dont think of the mofo as a webforum. but something like a bar with people i can trust. <scratches head> ummm or a school library would fit more. i dont think evil people can stick in one place for so many years without being revealed so in logic everyone on the mofo is good and trustworthy : )

cause its impossible no matter how much imagination someone has for them to act normal for years when they're not. 2 years is the limit then all comes out.
