Doesn't this kind of thing belong in MG? I'm not a mod, so I'm not gonna move it. Anyway, my 2 cents.
I'm not sure whether or not they do walk upon us, but such a thing happening would not suprise me. But like you said, not everyone's idea of angels and demons are not the same. When I think of that idea, it's more of a state of mind thing. I'm not big on the idea of "good" and "evil".

I pretty much agree with Aeva on this. Don't really know anything about those paranormal entities and if they are real. I'll believe it when I see it. Although, i'd rather not see a random joe come up and start stripping out his flesh to reveal himself as a demon with powers whose bent on doing who-knows-what.

Angels and demons can exist, but not in the way they're portrayed in texts and in the media. By far. If you don't want to take things literal.

Metaphorically speaking, an angel these days is the modern-day saint, who'll go out of their way to help someone. These guys are the ones who saves lives. They're the police, the firefighters, the doctors, or even your average Joe. They don't have to have wings or halos and appear with heavenly music and bright lights. No way. These people all help to make the world a better place.

As for demons, these guys are your murderers, rapists, thieves and terrorists. These people strive to make the world a worse place for everyone. They take pride and enjoy making other people's live miserable. These are the modern demons of the world.

That's a pretty good viewpoint, I can agree to that. Certainly I'd call a rapist more demonic than a firefighter.
