*sings*

I'm a nut who's known as Macadamia
But you can call me by my other name-ia
Louisa Francesa Banana-Fana Bobesca
Or just plain Dot the name I flirt to
But if you call me Dottie I'll have to hurt you

I've listened to that song far too many times.

m/ @ This show...

Yeah, sometimes the networks cancel good shows for no reason. This one is just ridiculous though...

My dad and I both enjoyed the show back in the day, and we still do.

Were any of you like me and tried to memorize and sing that infamous Yakko's World song that many years ago? Still impresses me to this day.

Some IDIOT suggested that our class sang that song in 7th grade for some school function. :"> [ I used to have it memorized but I never used it, of course. It was worth five percent of my grade! >=O.

HAHA.
A found a few little skits over at Youtube.

The first one is a skit of Slappy and Skippy at a concert. The idea is cliche, but Animaniacs turned into something great. :D

Who's On Stage?

Of course, the Yakko's Nations Song.

Finally, a Compilation of Wheel of Morality. It's just a bunch of edited clips, but's it's worth watching.

EDIT: Sorry, I forgot to add this. Again, a bunch of edited Warner siblings clips. ENJOY! ^.^

I used to really love that show and watched it all the time.

Then for some reason I started to hate it from the bottom of my heart after they had stopped airing it briefly during the winter holidays.

Now I'm somewhat indifferent and somewhat nostalgic. o.o

Hate to make everyone jealous, but I met Rob Paulsen (Yakko's voice) last month.

I don't remember much about Animaniacs but I do remember the Power Rangers parody they did. Now that was hilarous :) .

Hello, Mobius Forum, for my first post in about a year. :]

I was a massive fan of Animaniacs. The Animaniacs Mega Lyrics File was one of the first websites I visited when I first accessed the web; nice to know it's still there. Before that, though, I did work out all the lyrics to "Wakko's America" and "Yakko's World" myself... once people at school found out about that, I often got pestered to sing them to them to pass the time in the dinner queue. :)

Some people reckon that the pop-culture jokes were only included for the sake of it, rather than because they were particularly witty. Perhaps that's true, but there's no doubt that for me a lot of the fun of Tiny Toons, Animaniacs and Freakazoid (and also The Simpsons) came precisely from the fact that I didn't know anything about the films and actors they were referencing. There were even even some in-jokes that only the writers could get! (Click here, and make sure you read the second comment of that blog post.) In fact, that blog is a fascinating resource for info on the origins of those TV series...

Pinky & The Brain

Interesting fact about Pinky & The Brain: Maurice LaMarche, who voiced Brain (and several Futurama characters, among lots of other animation roles), based that voice on Orson Welles. Then, when Welles appeared as a character in Tim Burton's great film "Ed Wood", Maurice LaMarche dubbed the voice.
