So what do people here think of how one of the Sonic cartoons has become such a prominent target for YTP parody?
I like it myself. I recall watching a few episodes of AoStH as a kid, and I can't think of any other cartoon I've seen as a kid that has as many spoofs of it in YTP as it does... there's popular YTPs of Arthur and Toy Story as well, but there doesn't seem to be near as many of them. It's also interesting to see something from the Sonic series have prominence (well, within YTP) comparable to things from the Zelda and Mario series. o.o
Anyway, here's a few of my favourites.
Sonic: "Kids, there's nothing more cool than being humped by someone you like!"
Director: "CUT! For the last freakin' time, it's 'hugged' dammit! 'HUGGED'!!!!!!"
Sonic: *pulls out a doobie and smokes it* "I don't get paid enough for this s**t....."
AoStH was where it started. I know because I saw it happen. Back then it didn't have a name. It was just AoStH episodes clips mixed, repeated, sped up, sped down, and reversed. There was a misleading title and description that told a story, but none of that actually happened. Infact when people starting using the Super Mario cartoon, it was blasphemous, at least to me. I was infact going to make one before it became popular, but of course I was lazy and was thinking too high and within a month I lost my chance. I still have what I did so far in an iMovie project file.
