A man is a rape-supporter if…
He has ever sexually engaged with any woman while she was underage, drunk, high, physically restrained, unconscious, or subjected to psychological, physical, economic, or emotional coercion.
He defends the current legal definition of rape and/or opposes making consent a defense.
He has accused a rape victim of having “buyer’s remorse” or wanting to get money from the man.
He has blamed a woman for “putting herself in a situation” where she “could be” attacked.
He has procured a prostitute.
He characterizes prostitution as a “legitimate” “job” “choice” or defends men who purchase prostitutes.
He has ever revealed he conceives of sex as fundamentally transactional.
He has gone to a strip club.
He is anti-abortion.
He is pro-”choice” because he believes abortion access will make women more sexually available.
He frames discussions of pornography in terms of “freedom of speech.”
He watches pornography in which women are depicted.
He watches any pornography in which sexual acts are depicted as a struggle for power or domination, regardless of whether women are present.
He characterizes the self-sexualizing behavior of some women, such as wearing make-up or high heels, as evidence of women’s desire to “get” a man.
He tells or laughs at jokes involving women being attacked, sexually “hoodwinked,” or sexually harassed.
He expresses enjoyment of movies/musicals/TV shows/plays in which women are sexually demeaned or presented as sexual objects
He mocks women who complain about sexual attacks, sexual harassment, street cat-calls, media depictions of women, or other forms of sexual objectification.
He supports sexual “liberation” and claims women would have more sex with (more) men if society did not “inhibit” them.
He states or implies that women who do not want to have sex with men are “inhibited,” “prudes,” “stuck-up,” “man-haters,” or psychologically ill.
He argues that certain male behaviors towards women are “cultural” and therefore not legitimate subjects of feminist attention.
He ever subordinates the interests of women in a given population to the interests of the men in that population, or proceeds in discussions as if the interests of the women are the same as the interests of the men.
He promotes religious or philosophical views in which a woman’s physical/psychological/emotional/sexual well-being is subordinated to a man’s.
He describes female anatomy in terms of penetration, or uses terms referencing the supposed “emptiness” of female anatomy when describing women.
He defends the physical abuse of women on the grounds of “consent.”
He defends the sexualization or sexual abuse of minor females on the grounds of “consent” or “willingness.”
He promotes the idea that women as a class are happier or more fulfilled if they have children, or that they “should” have children.
He argues that people (or just “men”) have sexual “needs.”
He discusses the “types” of women he finds sexually appealing and/or attempts to demean women by telling them he does not find them sexually appealing.
He sexually objectifies lesbians or lesbian sexual activity.
He defends these actions by saying that some women also engage in them.

tl;dr All men support rape.

Apparently if any of us post there, they'll know we came from a Sonic the Hedgehog message board (this SPECIFIC one!!). READ, DON'T TOUCH. Or you support rape.

Or alternatively, we could lure them here and rape them in Marble Garden.

I don't doubt that but some people keep complaining that the marble garden shouldn't even exist to begin with, etc.

So according to them the only way to not be a rape supporter is:

Condemn prostitutes
Believe women do not perform any sort of behavior in order to attract sex
Not be lesbian
Say women are not capable of determining consent
Do not share what you consider attractive with anybody
Take the position that men and women have fundamentally different interests
Oppose sexual liberation of women
Advocate censorship because the first amendment applies only to what is not offensive

Huh. Sounds a lot like a victorian sexist.

She actually explains some of those to more reasonable positions in the comments, and I agree with most of her points if clarified, but she should simply admit the list is over the top. She's talking about a culture of rape. And I suppose it's true that if you acted as said victorian sexist it would create a less conducive environment to rape but it would create a far more oppressive environment in general.

Oh, hey. She's mining for hits again using her usual formula.

Step 1: post pseudo-feminist whargarrbl that's really less actual-feminist and more "GRAH HATE HATE HATE I AM USING MY ANGRY WORDS"
Step 2: act like everyone who questions her reasoning or motives is wrong wrong wrong oh so very wrong and also evil and how dare they badger her on her site (but please keep refreshing and posting anyway)
Step 3: Hits!
Step 4: PROFIT!

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you: the internet.

Rape isn't something to joke about.

Rape isn't something to joke about.

That depends on what the joke is. (The actual skit went on to talk about how it depends on how you construct the joke, but it does not seem to be on youtube anymore.)

As for the list... I didn't read much of it, but judging from the replies it doesn't seem to go that much further than the witch-hunt approach so rampant in discussions of sexual abuse in general, let alone of a particular form. Don't get me wrong, I know that's a false equivalence as there actually ARE sexual abusers and not witches, but it seems like these days the slightest divergence from politically-correct dogma about it, from mentioning sociobiological theories on it to questioning the statistics on it gets you labelled a sexual abuse supporter if not a rapist or pedophile yourself... which goes to show that it needs to be confronted.

As for what makes someone a rape supporter, I would say, well, supporting rape.

What Matt said, practically.

...

Wow, I better not make that a habit.

As for rape not being anything to joke about, it's all about circumstances on when or when it's not appropriate. The fact of the matter is it will always be black humor and not everyone will be down with it. Kind of like dead baby jokes.

Me? I'll laugh at anything. So I fully support jokes of all kinds, including rape jokes, which I guess in full circle makes me a rape supporter in this wackjob's eyes. On the contrary, I do not condone rape at all, for any reason.

Quote from link "You heard the man, ladies. You should all just get organized and make plans now for the aftermath of your rape. Maybe set up a cookie jar in the kitchen and tuck a dollar bill in it now and then, as your rainy day rape abortion fund" Thats just hilarious.

I'd like to think child support requirements would carve out exceptions for guys who were raped by women, if only because the "you have sex, you have the consequences that go with it" approach doesn't exactly apply there. Not sure though.

As for the guy, he didn't call rape equivalent to flat tires in every way, he was saying that people should plan ahead in life and using that as an analogy. Note that the second article said "or unwanted pregnancies or are rape victims" (as in, unwanted pregnancies from consensual sex were part of the analogy too) and the same guy mentioned that he had life insurance, so it would be awfully selective (if not disingenuous) to frame it as "comparing rape to flat tires."
