Bieber to star in BTTF remake?

If this is somehow true...what would replace the DeLorean?

Bieber!!

Does not compute! Red Ring of Death! Do not pass Go! D:

Why even TRY to remake BttF? Granted, a lot of bells and whistles can be achieved with CGI now, but... just no. Keep it cheesy 80's awesomeness, people.

If it is true, a literal crap-ton of money is going to be made. With Bieber in it, there will likely be mass tween fangirl mobs. XD

Almost cried. Twice.

First, due to destruction of childhood (collective "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!")

Second, due to childhood being restored.

Back to the Future is one movie that cannot be remade. I mean, we're IN the future. Right now. Does this generation even have a relatable version of what "the future" looks like. "With jetpacks?" doesn't cut it. We have our video calling, we have our 3d movies. All we need is the flying car and those self-tying shoes and we're golden---

Wait a second.

Well there's that one. How could they remake a movie when the human race has already achieved our futuristic dreams from two decades ago... except for the flying cars.

I doubt it could have been THAT bad but less remakes is good regardless.

Boy if this was true I was going to rage, rage hard! And yes, it would have been that bad. It would have been terrible and that's without Justin Bieber.

I'm just going to put this out there now. Every five minutes, someone in Hollywood has a terrible idea. About 5% of all ideas get turned into films, a big majority of them terrible, but there's a time to freak out, and there's a time to be skeptical. This is one of the latter instances.

I wouldn't mind a hoverboard or the Pizza Hut mini pizzas that you stick in the microwave for 3 minutes and out comes an XL pizza. Everything else is either here or on the way.

I almost had a panic attack when I read that Bieber would be remaking BttF but then settled down as I read all the comments. ah, sweet relief!

*And* I want the microwave to be manufactured by Black & Decker!

Hey, how can we forget Mr Fusion? Want!

Those of us in the UK can recover from this horrible shock by going to see the original at the cinemas on October 1st. I guess the rest of us will have to make do with DVDs.

Interesting how it works that upon seeing just the name of the topic and how I fell out of my chair, then afterwards, I thought, "It's gotta be a joke." I open the thread, and I nearly fall out of my chair again, then I read the comments and go "Oh. It is a joke."

All of course in the timespan of just 30 seconds.
