So anyhoo, to get back onto the original topic at hand...

I think, when watching the series, it had sorta been there in the back of my mind, but now that you mention it it makes a lot of sense that they'd set it in the 30s/40s. The overall feel of it all, the atmosphere and everything, stylistic choices: very much gives it the impression of it being set around that time.

I can't really comment on what's come after it as I've not seen an awful lot of it (if anything), though I certainly recall watching the Superman animated series and very much getting the impression that it was set in the near future, what with all the technological advances and so forth in place.. I can only assume therefore that with any Batman animation that came out thereafter or around the same time that they then adjusted things accordingly to match up with the other animated series that were kicking about. Makes sense to do so of course, get more mileage out of them and also encourage the viewers to watch the other shows to get a better overall feel of what's happening with larger over-arching plots.

And I've given YOU fair warning. You need to grow up and learn a few lessons. Read the TOU. It's your choice. I wonder how SonicHQ would feel if the board got shut because of what one of you admins did? What happens next is up to you and your brethren. You can do the right thing, or keep doing the same crap you've been doing. If you want to be thought of as a man, THEN ACT LIKE ONE! Not like some punk middle-schooler trying to be 'cool'.

I believe he deserves any and all ridicule.

Anyway, enough derailment, let us carry on.

I am sorry tempted to passive-aggressively nuke his inbox, but I shall show the decorum that he doesn't have.

Also, of COURSE Batman is serious business.

The game is friggin' AMAZING.

Or so I'm told.

I picked it up. Haven't had a chance to play, just the remnants of the demo. Nom nom

I've only played through the demo, but that was awesome enough to interest me in buying a copy... Toys R Us's $30 GC deal made day 1 purchase necessary...

I didn't realize that the game was going to feature Mark Hamill and Arleen Sorkin reprising their roles of Mr J and Harley . Truly awesome.
