Here's to Coffee, Here's to Tea, May you Always enjoy each Choice you Make.
Why are you so awesome, AbSeamiller?
It looks like he brought friends this time. Are they friend or foe. *stands by with custom titles or ban cannons depending on the answer*

Rico, you already know the answer to that question...
Look at that picture =(
A legendary Drink needs a legendary figure...So, Enter GODOT!

What the hell is that supposed to mean?
I'm as lost as Rishi there, Boston. My only guess is you're referring to his rather creepy portrait in his avatar. In which case I'll use my creepy signature.
In either case I'm going with the featherduster and heading for the java machine. *wanders off humming Godot's theme* :3
~Rico
Rico you are creepy too, but intentionally so... and you aren't 50+ year old on a sonic board creepy... yet.
Hmm? I thought other people posted Drazen's crap. Did he join? *da dum pish*

People can like Sonic at any age.
People can like Sonic at any age.
Yeah, but he's just not cool once you get past twelve.
Why are you so awesome, AbSeamiller?
Ew smiley spamming. Even I don't use that many in a sentence, if at all. One is enough.
Coffee.
Coffee is such a marvelous and miraculous thing that running it through a digestinal tract of a ferret or weasel will only serve to double it's awesome and improve it's flavor.
Name me one other thing which is BETTER when literally turned to crap.
My day can not begin without coffee and life cannot resume without it fueling me. I'm drinking a cup right now, MoFos and I am loving it.
French blend today. Not as good as my Irish Cream one from last week, but still pretty nice.
i do not drink any hot drinks whatsoever
whether this will change as i get through studenthood and move into working life i don't know, but at the current rate i suspect it unlikely
i am
odd
I drink afternoon tea like a proper lady
*crosses legs and sips from a teacup*
*eyes the OP* ...
This thread is neither funny nor relevant. It doesn't even make a point. Doesn't even beg a question for the readers to answer.
A relevant thread to this would have been:
Subject: Coffee Time
Text Within: I'm drinkin' coffee. Black. Yep... you?
And that would have been passable.
This, ladies and gents, is what we call spam, (exhibit A > ). And here we are, eating it up. What the hell, people. What the hell.

the coffee shop is reopen
get it while it's hot
To be fair we are turning it into a sort of discussion anyway so it's no big deal

Better luck Next time.

Only because the higher inspector is allowing a couple of things here and there go unnoticed. Shop should be closed in mine eyes.
*pouts, walks away*
Sometimes I feel like the only person who hates both coffee and tea. Love the smell of coffee, hate the taste.
And when I'm old enough that I can hardly move on my own, you can bet I'll be spending my free time spamming message boards with awesome wisdom like this guy. A true inspiration for the children!
I'm not fond of coffee. Tea with lemon and lots of sugar work for me.
... I think that's why my brain crashes all the time.
I drink a cup of tea every morning and im completely normal..... I like coffee too though so i drink it occasionally
Edit: Rishi? Really? Stop it.
NO!
Coffee by itself is not great to my tastes. I have to use the creamer or milk and sugar to get rid of some of the strong taste. But i'd rather have a hot chocolate instead. :/
I like both coffee and tea, though I usually perfer tea. Any type of tea will do, I've yet to try a tea I didn't like, though I'd have to say spiced chai would be my favorite that I've had.
Yeah, chai is mad crazy awesome. I agree with you on that one, Ksemanr.
So, today I am experimenting with French Vanilla Supreme coffee.
It is supremely WEAK. Took like 6 scoops to get an ounce of flavor out of it.
Dang French coffee.
i have discovered the joys of hot chocolate with mini marshmallows in it.
wierdly enough the bag has instructions to eat the marshmallows only one at a time as they're a choking hazard. oO;
but.. but.. how can you play chubby bunnies if you can't fill your mouth with the entire bag? ;--;
Hot toddies *folds arms*
Coffee can be sort of a catch-22; you use it to keep yourself awake, but the more of it you have, the more likely you are to need it to keep yourself awake, and so on. I remember last semester I needed 3 or 4 cups of it a day just to not fall asleep in class. In hindsight that wouldn't have made much of a difference seeing as how I often didn't understand what the profs were saying, but I noticed that by the end of the semester when I was trying to go cold turkey on it, I found myself always half-sleepy and my voice sounded unusually soft. Coffee can taste good, (provided it's mixed with enough milk and sweetener) and when used once in a while I guess it could help with alertness when you need it more than usual, but it's not something to rely on.

I usually have a bag of marshmallows handy, as the ones in hot chocolate packets melt too fast. :<
I'm more of a tea man myself. I usually have at least one cup of it a day. I'd drink it over coffee anyday.
Actually, Matt. The "need for coffee" after over-consumption is a psychological placebo affect. Typically the stimulating kick of coffee dulls as the body becomes used to it. Fortunately the psychological connection that "coffee = awake" has been firmly rooted by this time. And don't worry, knowing about it wont change your mental association or caffeine addiction.
Also it has been linked with aiding the body against heart disease. So yay that.
It has also been linked with draining $12 a week from our bank account. Coffee addiction is serious business >8(
Coffee was not a choice at camp. It was a requirement. Believe it or not, it is freaking cold at 6:30AM on summer mornings. So when you're walking huge carafes of coffee to a campsite halfway across the grounds wearing your uniform of t-shirt and shorts (maybe a sweatshirt if you prepared), only to watch the leaders warm themselves up with their vile black liquid while you're sitting there shivering trying to make conversation between chattering teeth.....
...sometimes you've just gotta take that plunge.
Sometimes you have to suck it up and dilute that vile liquid until it's actually a drinkable substance.
Or else you will DIE.
I prefer hot chocolate, personally ^^

Heeey. Hey. Heeeey.
It's not MY fault that I have gourmet coffee tastes and the rest of the house realized how awesome coffee is when you actually shell out a bit of money.
Plus I'm fairly sure that the housemates who drink it will be splitting the cost or putting it on our grocery bill.
Plus, you should try it. It's really good stuff. Camp coffee is nothing compared to Kitty's creme de la creme.
Aye. I can back up that good coffee costs more money...but it's well worth it. It's really the same with pretty much any consumable product though. However, I am in the camp that drinks tea more often than coffee.

Hmm? Placebo as in drinking decaf thinking it's regular coffee would have the same effect? So would that be a way of easing off the addiction if I let that happen again?
And Sage, I wouldn't consider $12 a week very much. I recall coffee costing about $2 a cup at coffee shops... so even if at an average of 3 a day that'd be $6 a day, and so $42 a week at least for me. o.o
No coffee for me, just plain old tea, just make sure there's 2.5 teaspoons of sugar in there and some biscuits on the side.
Though I must say I've been drinking loads of hot chocolate lately. Especially if I'm out and I get one topped off with whipped cream and a flake. Oh yes.
I can't speak for everyone, but I switched to Decaf for an entire year, incident free.
So it is possible.
I love Coffee. I love in in the morning. I love it at night. I love it in the evening. I love it even with a bat. *Drinks Coffee*

i just have a giant tin of chocolate powder that will's parent gave to me for christmas. ( i think they wanted me to stop devouring all of theirs) yet to see hot chocolate powder coming with mini marshmallows! oo
i still find hot chocolate a bit bitter, even with a tablespoon of sugar in it, marshmallows and made with milk.
funny to think that only a year ago i'd only drink tea to be polite. then after spending a week in a friend's VERY chilly house (not their fault, heating was too expensive to have on much in the winter) i discovered the wonderful warming effects of endless cups of earl grey. i lived on the stuff! @@
now i drink a cup almost every day.. i now like tea to the point that when i'm trudging through the snow outside, all i can picture is getting home, putting my feet up and having a nice cuppa.
i have turned into an english steriotype, nuuuu~!
I prefer my coffee cold.
Even during the wintertime. Unless it's really freezing out there.
I prefer flavored coffees as opposed to plain coffee.
However, show me tea or milk and I'll prefer it over coffee.
I find that tea solves nearly all woes in life.
Work getting you down? Go make a cuppa, preferably for a few colleagues and have a grumble by the water heater (kettles take too long to heat and are therefore no good for a productive workforce, or something).
House rather cold? Have a cuppa.
You had to get up far too early in the morning? Have a cuppa, it won't make you feel like throwing up what little breakfast you managed to force down, unlike coffee.
You've only got digestives or rich teas in the house? Dunk 'em in your tea, they'll taste much better.
The Time Lord appears to be dying on the floor while an alien race conquers the Earth? Let him have a Thermos flask full of tea nearby, he'll feel better.
You need to revive a whole longboat full of Viking birds in order to go after the mutinous pirate penguins who abandoned you in the Arctic without even finding Castle Duckula? Get Nanny to brew up a pot, after all it does have a quality that could wake the dead.
However, it is not recommended to tie up the entirety of your starship's processing capabilities in the task of making a decent cup of tea.
Of course, your mileage may vary
